’−ジフェニルプロパンジイソシアネートを含む。使用できる他の芳香族ポリイソシアネートは、約2〜約4個の官能基を有する、メチレンで架橋されたポリフェニルポリイソシアネート混合物である。これらの後者のイソシアネート化合物は、一般に対応するメチレンで架橋されたポリフェニルポリアミンのホスゲン化によって生成し、ポリフェニルポリアミンは、塩酸および/または他の酸性触媒存在下、ホルムアルデヒドとアニリンなどの第1級芳香族アミンとの反応により慣習的に生成される。ポリアミンおよびそれに対応するメチレンで架橋されたポリフェニルポリイソシアネートを調製する工程は、文献、および例えば米国特許第2,683,730号、第2,950,263号、第3,012,008号、第3,344,162号、および第3,362,979号明細書など、多くの特許に報告されており、そのすべてが参考として本明細書内に組み込まれる。通常、メチレンで架橋されたポリフェニルポリイソシアネート混合物は約20〜約100重量パーセントのメチレンジフェニルジイソシアネートの異性体を含み、残りは、より高官能性で分子量も大きいポリメチレンポリフェニルジイソシアネートである。その典型的なものは、約20〜約100重量パーセントのジフェニルジイソシアネート異性体を含むポリフェニルポリイソシアネートであり、そのうち約20〜約95重量パーセントは4,4’−異性体であり、残りは分子量が大きく、高官能性のポリメチレンポリフェニルポリイソシアネートであり、官能基の平均数は約2.1〜約3.5である。これらのイソシアネート混合物は既知の市販されている物質であり、米国特許第3,362,979号明細書で報告されている工程により調製することができる。好適な芳香族ポリイソシアネートは、メチレンビス(4−フェニルイソシアネート)つまり「MDI」である。純粋なMDI、MDIの疑似プレポリマー、修飾された純粋なMDIなどは、ポリ尿素の調製に有用である。純粋なMDIは固体であり、使用する上で不便なことが多いため、本明細書ではMDIまたはメチレンビス(4−フェニルイソシアネート)系の液体製剤を使用している。本明細書内に参考のため組み込まれる米国特許第3,394,164号明細書では、液体MDI製剤について説明している。より一般的には、ウレトニミンで修飾された純粋なMDIも含まれる。この生成物は、触媒存在下、純粋なMDIを加熱することにより作られる。前記液体生成物は、純粋なMDIと修飾されたMDIの混合物である。また、イソシアネートの用語はイソシアネートの疑似プレポリマーまたはポリイソシアネートを含み、活性水素を含む物質を有する。「有機ジ−イソシアネート」は前述のイソシアネートを含むことがある。
が空気に触れるアミンブラッシュ形成に伴う様々な問題が生じる可能性が少なくなる。特に、ゲル化時間が比較的低い変換率で始まり、反応の発熱が穏やかになる程度に末端基の反応が緩徐であれば、形成の許容範囲が大きくなる。
Claims (19)
- 請求項1記載のアミン組成物において、平均して8.0<w+x+y+z<9.0である。
- 少なくとも5個のアミン水素官能基(AHF)および少なくとも70のアミン水素当量(AHEW)を有する、少なくとも4個の水酸基を有するポリオールまたは多価アルコールから誘導されたアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤。
- 請求項3記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記アミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤はアルコキシル化ポリオール化合物から生成されるものである。
- 請求項4記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記アルコキシル化ポリオール化合物が少なくとも4個の水酸基を有するものである。
- 請求項4記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記アルコキシル化ポリオール化合物がエリスリトール、ペンタエリスリトール、ジ−ペンタエリスリトール、およびその組み合わせから成る群から選択されるポリオールを有するものである。
- 請求項4記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記アルコキシル化ポリオール化合物が多官能性ポリオールである。
- 請求項4記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記アルコキシル化ポリオール化合物がマンニッヒポリオール、アミンポリオール、スクロース /グリコールポリオール、スクロース/グリセリンポリオール、スクロース/アミンポリオール、ソルビトールポリオール、およびその組み合わせから成る群か ら選択されるポリオールを有するものである。
- 請求項3記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記AHEWは400以下である。
- 請求項3記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記AHEWは115以上、150以下である。
- 請求項3記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記AHFは7以上である。
- 請求項3記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記AHFは8以上である。
- 請求項3記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記アミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤は少なくとも3個の第1級アミン基を含むものである。
- 請求項3記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記アミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤は少なくとも4個の第1級アミン基を含むものである。
- 請求項3記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記アミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤の分子量は600以上である。
- 請求項3記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤において、前記アミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤の分子量は800以上、1500以下である。
- アミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤を形成する方法であって、
少なくとも4個の水酸基を有するポリオールを提供する工程と、
前記ポリオールをアルコキシル化してアルコキシル化ポリオール化合物を形成する工程と、
前記アルコキシル化ポリオール化合物をアミン化して少なくとも70のAHEWを有するアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤を形成する工程と、
からなる方法。 - 請求項17記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤を形成する方法において、前記ポリオールをアルコキシル化する工程は、エチレンオキシド、プロピレン オキシド、ブチレンオキシド、およびその組み合わせから成る群から選択されるオキシドにより前記ポリオールをアルコキシル化することからなるものである。
- 請求項17記載のアミン官能性エポキシ硬化剤を形成する方法において、前記ポリオールをアルコキシル化する工程は、エチレンオキシドにより前記ポリオールをアルコキシル化するか、ブチレンオキシドにより前記ポリオールをアルコキシル化することからなるものである。
