Description
樹脂酸価の測定法
樹脂1.5gにトルエン/メタノール=7/3の混合溶剤を加えて溶解する。これに指示薬として1%フェノールフタレインを2〜3滴加え、N/10水酸化カリウムアルコール溶液で滴定する。滴定の終点は、指示薬が30秒間持続する微紅色を呈した点とする。

本実施形態のライナーの製造方法は、上述のような少なくとも表面層2及び裏面層4と、2層の中間層3とから成る基紙を具備し、表面層2に撥水剤組成物が含有された塗工液を塗布して塗工層5が形成されてなるライナー1の製造方法であって、ライナー1の基紙の吸油性を低下させた後又は吸油性を低下させると同時に、撥水剤組成物が含有された塗工液の塗布を施す方法である。
(1)表面層2及び裏面層4の形成工程
まず、パルプを水に分散させてスラリーを作成する。得られたスラリーに必要に応じて他の薬剤を添加し、溶解・混合する。次いで、抄紙を行い、各層としての紙を得る。
(2)中間層3の形成工程
パルプを水に分散させてスラリーを作成する。得られたスラリーに必要に応じて他の薬剤を添加し、溶解・混合する。次いで、抄紙を行い中間層3としての紙を得る。
(3)抄き合わせ工程
得られた表面層2及び裏面層4の形成用の紙と、中間層3の形成用の紙とを抄き合わせて、本実施形態のライナーの基紙を得る。
(4)塗工液塗布工程
基紙の表面層2上に撥水剤組成物を含有する塗工液を塗布して塗工層5を形成して、本ライナー1を得る。
下記の原材料を用いて、下記の製造方法に従って、基紙が表面層、2層の中間層、及び裏面層の4層の紙層から構成されるライナーを得た。
<基紙>
・表面層
NUKP100質量%から成る原料パルプに、内添薬品として、サイズ剤と、内添紙力増強用澱粉と、硫酸バンドとを配合して、表面層用の原料パルプスラリーを得た。また、表面層用の原料パルプは、表面層を剥離し、JISP8220に準じて離解した表面層の離解パルプの、JISP8211に準じて測定したカッパー価が70、表面層の離解フリーネスが630cc、表面層の離解パルプの平均繊維長が2.20mm、ルンケル比が1.03となるように調整されている。
・裏面層
古紙パルプ100質量%からなる原料パルプに、内添薬品として、サイズ剤と、内添紙力増強用澱粉と、硫酸バンドとを配合して、裏面層用原料パルプスラリーを得た。
・中間層
古紙パルプ100質量%からなる原料パルプに、内添薬品として、硫酸バンドと、内添紙力増強用澱粉と、サイズ剤とを配合して、中間層用原料パルプスラリーを得た。
<塗工液>
融点が52℃であるワックス樹脂(近代化学工業株式会社製の、商品名「リパックスA−240」)を6質量%と、ガラス転移温度(Tg)が−25.0℃であるSBR(日本エイアンドエル社製の、商品名「ナルスターSR−110」)を30.0質量%とを含有して撥水剤組成物を得る。そして、この撥水組成物を、ケン化度が98mol%であるPVAを5質量%、水を54質量%配合したPVA水溶液と混合して、ワックス樹脂のエマルションの平均粒子径が350nmである塗工液を得る。
<ライナーの作成>
上述した各層のパルプスラリーを用い、抄紙速度がリールにて700m/min、温度条件がリールにて65℃、スラリーpHが6.0という製造条件で各層を構成する紙を作成した後、接着剤としてコーンスターチ分散溶液を用いて各層の抄き合わせを行い、基紙を得た。なお、本実施例においては、用いた製造設備の都合上、中間層を形成する紙層を、同じ構成材料を用いて2つ作製し、得られた2つの紙層を貼り合わせることで中間層を形成している。
次いで、得られた基紙の表面層上に、バーコーター#3(10〜11g/m2)を用いて、前記塗工液を塗布した後、乾燥器(ヤマト化学株式会社製、送風定温恒温器DNG810)を用い、乾燥器内の温度を90℃として、1分間乾燥処理してライナー(実施例1)を得た。

Claims (4)
- 少なくとも表面層及び裏面層から成る基紙を有するライナー紙であって、
前記基紙の少なくとも表面層に質量が3〜8%の撥水剤組成物及び質量が5〜10%のケン化度が98.0〜99.0mol%であるポリビニルアルコールを含有する塗工液を塗布した塗工層を有し、
前記撥水剤組成物は、融点が48〜65℃のワックス樹脂を含有し、かつエマルションの平均粒子径が300〜600nmであり、
また、前記表面層を剥離し、JISP8220に準じて離解した表面層の離解パルプは、JISP8211に準じて測定したカッパー価が50〜70であることを特徴とするライナー。 - 前記表面層の離解パルプは、連続蒸解釜出口、及び、精選工程前又は精選工程の途中でリファイナーにて機械的に叩解しパルプ化して製造される針葉樹クラフトパルプであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のライナー。
- 前記表面層の離解パルプは、フリーネスが500〜650ccであり、平均繊維長が2.0〜3.0mmであり、ルンケル比が0.8〜1.2であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のライナー。
- 前記撥水剤組成物は、さらにガラス転移温度が−50〜−15℃のラテックスを含有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれかに記載のライナー。
