Claims (49)
- 血管治療用器具であって、
ハンドルであって、
モータと、
前記ハンドルに装着され、前記モータを電源と電気的に連結しない第1の状態と、前記モータを前記電源と連結する第2の状態との間を切り換え可能なトリガと、
前記モータにより回転駆動される雄型連結具と、
を有するハンドルと、
前記ハンドルと係合可能なカートリッジであって、
前記雄型連結具により係合可能なサイズ及び形状であり、且つ係合されると、前記雄型連結具によって回転する雌型連結具と、
前記雌型連結具に固定された近位端と、前記近位端から延在してその終端が遠位端である主軸部とを有するワイヤと、
前記カートリッジに固定され、そこから延在するシースであって、前記ワイヤが通るルーメンを画成するシースと、
を有するカートリッジと、
を備え、前記雌型連結具が前記雄型連結具により係合されていないとき、前記シースが前記ワイヤの前記遠位端を被覆し、及び前記雌型連結具が前記雄型連結具により係合されているとき、前記シースが前記ワイヤの前記遠位端を被覆しない、
血管治療用器具。 - 前記トリガと前記モータとを接続する電気回路に間置され、前記カートリッジと前記ハンドルとの係合によって開放状態から閉鎖状態に切り換え可能なことにより前記トリガと前記モータとを互いに電気的に連結できるマイクロスイッチをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記カートリッジと前記ハンドルとの係合を防止する第1の位置に付勢されており、前記カートリッジと前記ハンドルとの係合を可能にする第2の位置に切り換え可能なゲートを備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ゲートがさらに、前記カートリッジと前記ハンドルとの係合の解除を防止する第3の位置に切り換え可能である、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記第3の位置が、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との中間にある、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記ゲートが前記第3の位置にあるとき、前記カートリッジに画成される戻り止めに収容される、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記ゲートが、前記ハンドルと接触するスプリングによって前記第1の位置に付勢されている、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記ゲートが前記ハンドルのスイッチと物理的に連結され、それによりスイッチを動かすと前記ゲートが前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間を切り換わる、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記ハンドルが、前記モータと電気的に連結されるポテンショメータを備えて前記モータの速度を制御する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記雄型連結具が拡張状態に付勢されており、前記拡張状態から収縮状態に移行可能である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記雌型連結具が、前記ハンドルと前記カートリッジとを係合する間、前記雄型連結具を前記拡張状態から前記収縮状態に移行させるサイズ及び形状とされる、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記雄型連結具が、前記カートリッジと前記ハンドルとが完全に係合されると、前記拡張状態に戻るようなサイズ及び形状とされる、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記雄型連結具が前記拡張状態に戻ると、前記雌型連結具が前記雄型連結具との係合を解除可能となる、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記雄型連結具が前記拡張状態に戻ると、前記雌型連結具が前記雄型連結具との係合を解除できない、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記雄型連結具が、スリット状部分により隔てられた少なくとも2つの尖端部を備える、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記シースの内径が0.05588センチメートル〜0.12192センチメートルである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記シースの外径が、静脈への挿入を促進するよう0.0508センチメートル〜0.127センチメートルである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ハンドルの1つ又は複数の部分が、中に前記トリガが少なくとも部分的に配置されるトリガリングを画成し、前記ハンドルが、前記ハンドルの前記トリガリングを画成する1つ又は複数の部分のみから支持されるとき平衡が保たれるように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記シースが等間隔の外部標示を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記遠位端が、近位から遠位の順に、第1のセグメント、第2のセグメント、及び第3のセグメントを備え、
前記第1のセグメントが前記主軸部と前記第2のセグメントとの間に延在し、付勢されると第1の夾角で静止して、前記第1の夾角が、
前記主軸部と前記第1のセグメントとの間に画定され、且つ
180度未満であり、
前記第2のセグメントが前記第1のセグメントと前記第3のセグメントとの間に延在し、付勢されると第2の夾角で静止して、前記第2の夾角が、
前記第1のセグメントと前記第2のセグメントとの間に画定され、且つ

前記第3のセグメントが前記第2のセグメントから自由端まで延在し、付勢されると第3の夾角で静止して、前記第3の夾角が、
前記第2のセグメントと第3のセグメントとの間に画定され、且つ

請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の夾角が前記第1の夾角より大きい、請求項20に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の夾角と前記第3の夾角との合計から前記第2の夾角を引いた差が約70度〜約110度の範囲である、請求項20に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の夾角と前記第3の夾角との合計から前記第2の夾角を引いた差が約80度〜約100度の範囲である、請求項22に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の夾角と前記第3の夾角との合計から第2の夾角を引いた差が約90度である、請求項23に記載の装置。
- 前記第3のセグメントの長さが前記シースの内径より小さい、請求項20に記載の装置。
