Description
某苛性ソーダ精製工場内の飽和岩塩水500ml(カルシウムイオン濃度:94mg/リットル、マグネシウムイオン濃度:34mg/リットル)を約65℃に加温し、消石灰、炭酸カルシウム、塩化カルシウムから選ばれるカルシウムイオン供給源と、炭酸ナトリウム、水酸化ナトリウムとを、それぞれ表1の実施例1〜13及び比較例1〜14の割合となるように添加した。薬剤添加直後に、カルシウムイオン濃度の測定を行ない、120rpmで1分間攪拌し、凝集剤(「フロクランEA-304」,株式会社片山化学工業研究所製)を1.1mg/リットル添加して、さらに120rpmで1分間、60rpmで1分間の攪拌を行なった。60分間静置後、岩塩水溶液中のフロックの状態と径、処理水の外観、カルシウムイオン濃度とマグネシウムイオン濃度の測定を行なった。測定結果を表1に示す。なお、カルシウムイオン供給源である消石灰と炭酸カルシウムについてはそれぞれ20%のスラリーに調整したものを、塩化カルシウムについては35%塩化カルシウム(旭硝子株式会社製)を使用した。
薬剤添加を行なう前の飽和岩塩水中のカルシウムイオンとマグネシウムイオンの濃度をそれぞれ64、97mg/リットルにする以外は、試験例1と同様のやり方で測定を行なった。測定結果を表2に示す。
Claims (2)
- カルシウムイオン濃度が5〜200mg/リットル、マグネシウムイオン濃度が1〜100mg/リットルの原塩を含有する水溶液中のカルシウムイオンとマグネシウムイオンとを沈降分離により水溶液中のカルシウムイオン濃度を0.5〜10mg/リットル、マグネシウムイオン濃度を0.1〜5mg/リットルとなるように同時に除去する方法において、原塩を含有する水溶液に、200〜2000mg/リットルの炭酸ナトリウムと、添加直後の該水溶液中のカルシウムイオン濃度が100〜150mg/リットルとなるようにカルシウムイオン供給源(ただし、炭酸カルシウムは除く)とを同時に又は別々に添加することを特徴とする水中のカルシウムイオンとマグネシウムイオンの除去方法。
- カルシウムイオン供給源が、水酸化カルシウムおよび塩化カルシウムから選ばれた少なくとも1種である請求項1記載の除去方法。
