Description
図4a及び図6を結付して動作過程を詳しく説明すれば、まず、1水平期間中第1期間T1の間第1n走査線S1nに第1走査信号が供給されると同時に第2n走査線S2nに第2走査信号が供給される。第1期間T1の間第1走査信号及び第2走査信号が供給されれば、画素140R、140G、140Bそれぞれに含まれた第2トランジスタM2、第3トランジスタM3及び第4トランジスタM4がターンオンされる。そして、第1期間T1の間順次供給される第1制御信号CS1ないし第3制御信号CS3によって第1スイッチング素子T11、第2スイッチング素子T12及び第3スイッチング素子T13が順次ターンオンされる。
図7は、図2に示された走査駆動部を詳しく示す図面である。また、図8は、図7に示された走査駆動部の動作過程を示す波形図である。

Claims (15)
- 水平期間の第1期間及び第2期間の間第1走査線に第1走査信号を順次供給し、前記第1期間の間第2走査線に第2走査信号を順次供給し、前記第1期間及び第2期間と重畳されるように発光制御線に発光制御信号を順次供給するための走査駆動部と、
前記第1期間の間それぞれの出力線に複数のデータ信号を順次供給するためのデータ駆動部と、
前記それぞれの出力線ごとに設置されて前記出力線に供給されるデータ信号を複数のデータ線に供給するためのデマルチプレクサーと、
有機発光ダイオードと、
前記データ線に第1電極が接続され、第1ノードに第2電極が接続され、前記第1走査線にゲート電極が接続されていて、前記第1走査信号が供給される時ターンオンされて前記データ信号を前記第1ノードに供給するための第2トランジスタと、
前記第1ノードに一側端子が接続されて他側端子が第2ノードに接続されるストレージキャパシタと、
前記有機発光ダイオードに第2電極が接続され、前記発光制御線にゲート電極が接続されていて、前記発光制御信号が供給されない時ターンオンされる第6トランジスタと、
第1電源に第1電極が接続され、前記第6トランジスタの第1電極に第2電極が接続され、前記第2ノードにゲート電極が接続されていて、前記第2ノードに印加される電圧値に対応される電流を前記第1電源から、前記第6トランジスタ及び前記有機発光ダイオードを経由して第2電源に供給するための第1トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタの第2電極に第1電極が接続され、前記第1トランジスタのゲート電極に第2電極が接続され、前記第1走査線にゲート電極が接続されていて、前記第1走査信号が供給される時ターンオンされて前記第1トランジスタをダイオード形態で接続させるための第3トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタの第2電極に第1電極が接続され、初期化電源に第2電極が接続され、前記第2走査線にゲート電極が接続されていて、前記第2走査信号が供給される時ターンオンされる第4トランジスタと、
前記第1ノードに第1電極が接続され、前記初期化電源に第2電極が接続され、前記発光制御線にゲート電極が接続されていて、前記発光制御信号が供給されない時ターンオンされる第5トランジスタと、を備えた画素回路と、
を備えることを特徴とする発光表示装置。 - 前記デマルチプレクサーそれぞれは、
前記出力線と前記複数のデータ線それぞれの間に接続される複数のスイッチング素子を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記第1期間の間前記複数のスイッチング素子を順次ターンオンさせるために制御信号を供給するデマルチプレクサー制御部をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記データ駆動部は、
前記第2期間の間輝度に寄与しないダミーデータ信号を供給することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記ダミーデータ信号は、
前記第1期間に供給される最後のデータ信号であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記第2期間の間前記第2ノードの電圧値は、
前記第1電源の電圧から前記第1トランジスタの閾値電圧を差し引いた値で設定されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記第2期間以後に前記第5トランジスタがターンオンされて前記第1ノードの電圧値がデータ信号の電圧から前記初期化電源の電圧に下降されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記第2期間以後にフローティング状態で設定された前記第2ノードの電圧値が前記第1ノードの電圧下降量に対応されて下降されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記走査駆動部は、
サンプリングパルスを順次生成するためのシフトレジスターと、
隣接された二つのサンプリングパルスを組み合わせて前記第1走査信号、第2走査信号及び発光制御信号を生成するための信号生成部を具備し、
前記信号生成部は、
前記二つのサンプリングパルスを論理演算して前記第1走査信号を生成するための第1ナンドゲートと、
前記二つのサンプリングパルスを論理演算して前記発光制御信号を生成するための第1ノアゲートと、
前記第1ナンドゲートの出力と外部からのイネーブル信号を論理演算して前記第2走査信号を生成するための第2ノアゲートと、
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一つに記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記シフトレジスターは、
クロック信号及びクロックバー信号によって駆動され、
前記クロック信号の上昇エッジに駆動されるシフトレジスターと前記クロック信号の下降エッジに駆動されるシフトレジスターとが交互に配置されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記イネーブル信号の一周期は、
前記クロック信号の1/2周期と等しく設定されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記イネーブル信号の一周期でハイ信号を持つ期間は、
ロー信号を持つ期間より狭く設定されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記第1ナンドゲートの出力端に接続される少なくとも一つのインバータをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記第1ノアゲートの出力端に接続される少なくとも一つのインバータをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記第2ノアゲートの出力端に接続される少なくとも一つのインバータをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の発光表示装置。
