Claims (2)
- イットリウムY及び原子番号が57〜71であるランタンLaからルテチウムLuまでのランタノイドのうち、少なくともいずれか一つの希土類元素を含む回収対象物から、セリウム系研摩材用原料を回収する方法において、
回収対象物は、使用済みのセリウム系研摩材を含むものであり、
該回収対象物を鉱酸で溶解させて溶液とした後、
該溶液にアルカリを添加して、pHをpH2〜7に調整して、鉄Fe、チタンTi、ジルコニウムZrの少なくともいずれか一つの金属成分Mを水酸化物として沈殿させて、
該沈殿物を分離除去した後、溶液に溶解している希土類元素をセリウム系研摩材用原料として回収し、
回収されたセリウム系研摩材用原料は、全希土類酸化物(TREO)に換算した重量に対する金属成分Mの含有量M/TREOが0.001〜0.5質量%に調整されていることを特徴とするセリウム系研摩材用原料の回収方法。 - 請求項1に記載のセリウム系研摩材用原料の回収方法において、回収対象物にフッ素成分を含み、回収対象物を鉱酸で溶解した後に不溶解性のフッ化希土化合物を分離回収する、セリウム系研摩材用原料の回収方法。
