図1は、本発明に係る車輪用軸受装置の第1の実施形態を示す縦断面図、図2は図1の要部拡大図である。なお、以下の説明では、車両に組み付けた状態で車両の外側寄りとなる側をアウトボード側(図面左側)、中央寄り側をインボード側(図面右側)という。

Claims (6)
- 一端部に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、この車輪取付フランジから軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪と、このハブ輪の小径段部に外嵌された内輪とからなる内方部材と、この内方部材に外挿された外方部材と、この外方部材と前記内方部材間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体とを備え、前記小径段部の端部を径方向外方に塑性変形させて形成した加締部により前記内輪が固定された車輪用軸受装置において、前記内輪の背面側の外径面取り部が、熱処理後に加工された再切削面で形成されていると共に、前記加締部が未焼入れ部とされ、前記内輪の外径面取り部の打ち傷を除去したことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ハブ輪の外周に内側転走面が直接形成され、前記車輪取付フランジの基部から前記内側転走面および小径段部に亙って高周波焼入れによって表面硬さを54〜64HRCの範囲に硬化処理され、前記加締部を、鍛造後の素材表面硬さ24HRC以下の未焼入れ部とすると共に、前記小径段部における端部の塑性加工に伴って前記内輪に発生するフープ応力を300MPa以下に規制した請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 一端部に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、この車輪取付フランジから軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪と、このハブ輪の小径段部に外嵌された内輪とからなる内方部材と、この内方部材に外挿された外方部材と、この外方部材と前記内方部材間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体とを備え、前記小径段部の端部を径方向外方に塑性変形させて加締部が形成され、この加締部により前記内輪を固定した車輪用軸受装置の製造方法において、前記内輪の背面側の外径面取り部が予め切削加工により形成され、熱処理後に再切削加工されると共に、前記加締部が未焼入れ部とされていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置の製造方法。
- 前記内輪の背面側の外径面取り部が、熱処理後に焼入れ鋼切削工具により再切削加工されている請求項3に記載の車輪用軸受装置の製造方法。
- 前記内輪の背面側の外径面取り部が、前記内輪の少なくとも大径側外径面と同時に研削砥石により再切削加工されている請求項3に記載の車輪用軸受装置の製造方法。
- 前記内輪の背面側の外径面取り部が、前記内輪の正面側端面および内側転走面と同時に研削砥石により再切削加工されている請求項5に記載の車輪用軸受装置の製造方法。
