Description
収納される構成となっており、このラミネートフィルムが折り曲げられることによって壁部105が形成されている。また、壁部105に囲まれた面には、電極端子が導出される導出部104が形成されている。
正極21は、正極活物質を含有する正極活物質層21aが、正極集電体21bの両面上に形成されたものである。正極集電体21bとしては、例えばアルミニウム(Al)箔,ニッケル(Ni)箔あるいはステンレス(SUS)箔などの金属箔により構成されている。
負極22は、負極活物質を含有する負極活物質層22aが、負極集電体22bの両面上に形成されたものである。負極集電体22bとしては、例えば銅(Cu)箔,ニッケル(Ni)箔あるいはステンレス(SUS)箔などの金属箔により構成されている。
電解質は、電解液と、この電解液を保持する保持体となる高分子化合物とを含み、いわゆるゲル状となっている。ゲル状の電解質は高いイオン伝導率を得ることができると共に、電池の漏液を防止することができるので好ましい。
セパレータ23は、例えばポリプロピレン(PP)あるいはポリエチレン(PE)などのポリオレフィン系の材料よりなる多孔質膜、またはセラミック製の不織布などの無機材料よりなる多孔質膜により構成されており、これら2種以上の多孔質膜を積層した構造とされていてもよい。中でも、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンの多孔質フィルムが最も有効である。
まず、電池素子10の作製方法について説明する。正極21および負極22のそれぞれに、溶媒と、電解質塩と、高分子化合物と、混合溶剤とを含む前駆溶液を塗布し、混合溶剤を揮発させてゲル状の電解質を形成する。そののち、正極集電体21bの端部に正極端子11aを溶接により取り付けると共に、負極集電体22bの端部に負極端子11bを溶接により取り付ける。次いで、ゲル状の電解質が形成された正極21と負極22とをセパレータ23を介して積層し積層体としたのち、この積層体をその長手方向に巻回する。
次に、上述のようにして作製された電池素子10を用いて、電池セル2を作製する方法について説明する。図6に示すように、軟質ラミネートフィルム12に対して深絞りにより凹部25を形成し、上述のようにして作製された電池素子10を凹部25に収容する。そして、軟質ラミネートフィルム12を折り返して軟質ラミネートフィルム12が凹部25の開口部を覆うようにする。次いで、電池素子10の周辺部の、折り返し辺Lを除く三辺を減圧下で熱溶着などすることにより封止する。このとき、正極端子11aおよび負極端子11bは、樹脂片24aおよび24bが被覆された部分が軟質ラミネートフィルム12に挟まれて外部へ導出される。
次に、電池セル2を用いて電池パック1を作製する方法について説明する。電池セル2の正極端子11aおよび負極端子11bは、正極用接点部42aおよび負極用接点部42bと接続できるように、例えば切断したり折り曲げることによって正極端子11aおよび負極端子11bの長さが調整される。例えば、負極端子11bが正極端子11aに対して所定の長さだけ短くなるように調整する。

Claims (4)
- 複数の電池と、
上記複数の電池に対して接続される接続用基板と、
外部の電子機器と接続する回路基板と、
上記接続用基板と上記回路基板とを接続する接続部材と
からなり、
上記電池は、
該電池の同一の側に設けられた正極端子および負極端子を導出する導出部を有し、
上記導出部は、
該導出部の縁部が互いに対向するように、該導出部に対して立設された壁部を備え、
上記複数の電池は、該複数の電池の導出部が同一の方向を向くように一列に並べられ、
上記接続用基板の一部が上記電池の導出部上に配置され、
上記接続用基板の縁部には、上記壁部を避けることが可能な位置に切り欠き部が設けられている
ことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池パックにおいて、
上記接続用基板は、
上記複数の電池の正極端子をそれぞれ接続する複数の第1の接点部と、
上記複数の電池の負極端子をそれぞれ接続する複数の第2の接点部と、
上記複数の第1の接点部を接続する第1のパターン配線と、
上記複数の第2の接点部を接続する第2のパターン配線と、
を備え、
上記複数の第1の接点部は、直線上に配設され、
上記複数の第2の接点部は、上記直線と平行な異なる直線上に配設され、
上記第1のパターン配線および上記第2のパターン配線が平行に設けられている
ことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 請求項2に記載の電池パックにおいて、
上記第1の接点部および上記第2の接点部の、上記直線に対して垂直方向における位置の差は、2mm以上10mm以下である
ことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池パックにおいて、
上記接続用基板と上記回路基板とが上記接続部により着脱可能である
ことを特徴とする電池パック。
