Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for winding a carrier tape useful for transporting electronic components, and a package by the method.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in order to traverse a carrier tape, in which a plurality of concave portions for individually storing parts are continuously provided in the flow direction through flange portions around the concave portion, the reel is rotated by winding the reel. The motor torque was kept constant, moved to the right or left by the tape width of the carrier tape, wound around the reel while shifting sideways, and the direction of movement in the vicinity of the side plate of the reel was reversed. .
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In this method, since the tension applied to the carrier tape is different between the start and end of winding of the reel, the carrier tape wound around the reel on the traverse is likely to collapse during storage and transport. When the torque of the take-up motor is increased to prevent this, the carrier tape from the beginning to the middle of the reel is warped and wrinkled as shown in FIGS. 5 (a) and 5 (b). The taping work, in which electronic parts are inserted into the carrier tape and the cover tape is sealed, has been hindered. In particular, in the case where the bottom of the recessed portion of the carrier tape is deep, the recessed portions of the carrier tape that are overlapped with each other during the traverse winding fit into each other, which causes the roll to collapse and the undulation.
The present invention provides a method for winding a carrier tape and a package by which the carrier tape is not crushed during storage / transport of the carrier tape and does not cause warping or undulation on the rewound carrier tape. It is.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The carrier tape winding method according to the present invention traverses a reel of a carrier tape in which a plurality of recesses for individually storing components are provided in series in the flow direction via flanges around them. when the, a method is similar superposed flange portions of the left and right of the recessed portion that preparative-out continuously winding a carrier tape while moving the al laterally amount of movement in the right or left side of the carrier tape, recess corresponds to the width of the left and right flange portions of the part are characterized that you winding and continuously different from each other.
[0005]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the details of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 is a partially enlarged perspective view of a carrier tape to which the present invention is applied, FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a state in which the carrier tape is wound around a reel by the method of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a carrier tape shown in FIG. FIG. 4 is a partially enlarged explanatory view showing a state in which the flange portions of the carrier tape are overlapped with each other.
As shown in FIG. 1, the carrier tape 1 has a structure in which a large number of recessed
[0006]
In the carrier tape winding method of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, when the carrier tape 1 is traverse-wound on the reel 4, the carrier tape 1 is wound around the reel 4 one time. The incoming line guide roll 5 in front is moved in the lateral direction by a certain width. Movement width at this time, for example, in the case of a carrier tape of 8mm width, when to the left and
[0007]
In the winding method of the present invention, the tension applied to the carrier tape 1 during winding is managed by a tension meter (not shown), and the torque of the winding motor is adjusted according to the winding diameter of the reel 4. Accordingly, it is preferable to keep the tension applied to the carrier tape 1 at a constant value within the range of 100 to 400 g.
As shown in FIG. 4, by rolling the
Also, since the tension applied to the carrier tape can be set to 100 to 400 g by setting the torque when winding the carrier tape weak, the carrier tape that is wound around the reel of the obtained packaging body is warped or undulated. Can be prevented.
[0008]
【Example】
Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to Examples and Comparative Examples.
For carrier tapes where each recess is 3.2mm in width x 2.5mm in the flow direction and the entire width of the flange is 8mm, the amount of lateral movement of the inlet guide roll is 6.5mm (left to right) and 7.0mm (right to left) The carrier tape was overlapped by 2.5 mm and 1.0 mm on the left and right flanges of the recessed part, respectively, and traversed on a reel to obtain a carrier tape package. Further, the tension applied to the carrier tape at the time of winding was kept constant in the range of 200 to 220 g.
In the conventional winding method, when the carrier tape is rewound from the reel, warpage is generated at 20 to 30 mm per 1 m and swells are also confirmed. However, the reel of the package obtained by the winding method of the present invention The carrier tape that was rewound from the sheet was warped within 5 mm per meter of length, and no waviness was observed.
Furthermore, with regard to the carrier tape wound by both methods, 100,000 pieces of electronic parts each having a width of 3.2 × depth of 2.5 × thickness of 1.0 mm are inserted with a taping machine KT-2420 (trade name, manufactured by Koei). After that, when the taping work was performed to seal the cover tape, with the conventional method, pulsation of the carrier tape caused by warpage and undulation was generated, and the electronic component was temporarily suspended. Although it occurred 6 times, it was taped without any problem in the method of the present invention.
[0009]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, there is no collapse during the storage / conveyance of the obtained package, and the carrier tape that has been rewound does not warp or undulate, so that the taping operation is performed very smoothly.
