Abstract
Description
第1ブランクと第2ブランクを接合する方法であって、
前記第1ブランクと前記第2ブランクの少なくとも一方はアルミニウム又はアルミニウム合金の層を少なくとも1つ備えており、
前記方法は、
前記第1ブランクと前記第2ブランクを溶接するため配置する工程と、
前記第1ブランクと前記第2ブランクとのレーザ溶接を溶接経路に従って行う工程と、
構成部品を形成するため、溶接された前記ブランクに熱間変形と熱間焼き入れを行う工程とを含んでおり、
前記溶接経路は、溶接方向に沿った線形移動と、前記溶接方向に対して実質的に横向きの揺動とを組み合わせており、
前記レーザ溶接はフィラーを用いずに行われる、ことを特徴とする方法が提供される。
Claims (15)
- 第1ブランクと第2ブランクを接合する方法であって、
前記第1ブランクと前記第2ブランクの少なくとも一方はアルミニウム又はアルミニウム合金の層を少なくとも1つ備えており、
前記方法は、
前記第1ブランクと前記第2ブランクを溶接するために配置する工程と、
前記第1ブランクと前記第2ブランクとのレーザ溶接を溶接経路に従って行う工程と、
構成部品を形成するため、溶接された前記ブランクに熱間変形と熱間焼き入れを行う工程とを含んでおり、
前記溶接経路は、溶接方向に沿った線形移動と、前記溶接方向に対して実質的に横向きの揺動とを組み合わせており、
前記レーザ溶接はフィラーを用いずに行われる、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第1ブランクと前記第2ブランクとの接合は、端部同士の突合せ継手及び重ね継手から構成されるグループから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1ブランクと前記第2ブランクとの接合は、端部同士の突合せ継手であるため、テーラ溶接ブランクを形成することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1ブランク及び/又は前記第2ブランクは、アルミニウム又はアルミニウム合金の層を備えるコーティングを有する鋼基板を備えており、
前記鋼基板は好ましくは超高強度鋼であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記溶接経路の前記揺動は実質的に円形なループのパターンをたどることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記揺動は往復線形移動であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記揺動は400〜1500Hz、好ましくは600〜1200Hzの周波数を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記揺動は700〜1000Hzの周波数を有することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記溶接経路は0.5〜10mm、好ましくは0.8〜1.2mmの幅を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- レーザ光は0.2〜1mm、好ましくは0.5〜1mmの大きさのスポットサイズを有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- レーザ光は0.5〜10kW、好ましくは3〜6kWの大きさの最大出力を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- レーザ光の出力は、前記揺動の間、動的に制御されており、
最大出力の10〜50%、好ましくは20〜45%の最小出力が用いられることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記溶接方向に沿った前記線形移動は1〜10m/分、好ましくは2〜8m/分の速度でレーザにより行われることを特徴とする、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 溶接部は前記構成部品の隣接部と実質的に同じ大きさの引張強度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記アルミニウムのコーティングは、溶接する前に完全に取り除かれない、又は部分的に取り除かれることを特徴とする、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の方法。
