Claims (4)
- 省電力機能を有する処理部を搭載した情報処理装置であって、
前記処理部より動作時の消費電力量が小さい他の処理部と、
前記他の処理部が実行対象としない処理である対象外処理の発生を検知する検知部と、
前記対象外処理の発生を前記検知部が検知し、且つ前記省電力機能により前記処理部が停止状態となっている場合に、前記処理部を処理の実行が可能な所定の省電力状態に遷移させる遷移制御部と、
を備えることを特徴とする情報処理装置。 - 前記処理部、及び前記他の処理部は、同一のパッケージ内に封止されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の情報処理装置。
- 前記処理部は、前記処理を実行するコアを複数、搭載していることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の情報処理装置。
- 省電力機能を有する処理部を搭載した情報処理装置に適用される情報処理方法であって、
前記処理部より動作時の消費電力量が小さい他の処理部を前記情報処理装置に搭載して、前記他の処理部に実行させるべき処理を割り当て、
前記省電力機能により前記処理部が停止状態となっている状況下で前記他の処理部が実行対象としない処理である対象外処理が発生した場合に、前記処理部を処理の実行が可能な所定の省電力状態に遷移させ、前記対象外処理を前記処理部に実行させる、
ことを特徴とする情報処理方法。
