Abstract
Description
(a) 少なくとも1つのC1〜C20−アルキル(メタ)アクリレート: 少なくとも40質量%、
(b) 少なくとも1つのビニル芳香族化合物: 0〜30質量%、
(c) 少なくとも1つの酸モノマー: 少なくとも0.1質量%、
(d) さらなるモノマー: 0〜50質量%
(モノマー量の記載は各々、全てのモノマーの合計に対する)
を含有するモノマー混合物から製造可能である、水中に分散された少なくとも1つの重合体を含有する水性分散液である。本発明による分散液は、主成分として乳化重合により製造可能である重合体を含有し、従って、その際、分散されているポリマーは乳化重合体である。「重合体」という用語は、以下において、(低分子量)ポリマーもオリゴマーも含む。
(a) 少なくとも1つのC1〜C10−アルキル(メタ)アクリレート: 60〜99.7質量%
(b) スチレン: 0〜30質量%
(c) アクリル酸およびメタクリル酸から選択される少なくとも1つの酸モノマー: 0.2〜20質量%、

VAc: 酢酸ビニル
EHTG: (2−エチルヘキシル)−チオグリコレート。
感圧性接着剤分散液を、Laufenberg Silikonpapier NSA 1370上に施与し、乾燥させ且つHermaのラベル紙(75g/m2、プライマー処理されていない)上に転写し、乾燥後の接着剤の施与量18g/m2が得られた。該積層物を、標準条件下(23℃、相対大気湿度50%)で少なくとも16時間コンディショニングした後、剥離強度(接着力)、剪断強度(凝集力)および23℃での初期接着力を測定した。
初期接着力(表面粘着性、ループタックとも称される)の測定に際して、基材に圧力をかけずに貼り付けることによって支持体材料上に施与された接着剤が、定義された除去速度での基材からの剥離に抵抗する力を測定した。支持体材料はラベル紙75g/m2であり、基材はボール紙である。接着剤で被覆された支持体から、幅25mmおよび長さ250mmの試料片に切り出し、少なくとも16時間、標準条件(23℃、相対大気湿度50%)で保管する。試験片の両端を、約1cmの長さ、接着側で内側に折り返す。接着側で外側に向かって接着片で輪を作り、2つの端部をまとめ、且つ、引張試験機の上方のクランプにはさむ。下方のクランプに、試験基材のホルダーをはさみ、試験基材を中に入れる。接着片の輪を、引張試験機によって速度300mm/分で下方に動かし、追加的な圧力は印加されずに試験片の接着側が基材と付着する。上方のクランプの下端が基材上40mmになったら、引張試験機を停止させ、直ちに再度上に動かす。試験結果の記載はN/25cm幅において行う。表示の最高値(Fmax)を表面付着性の尺度として読み取る。少なくとも2つの個々の結果から、平均値を出す。
剪断強度を測定するために、試験片を、25×25mmの接着面積で鋼上に接着し、重さ1kgのローラーで1回ロールがけして、10分間後、1kgのおもりをかけて吊した。剪断強度(凝集力)を、標準条件(23℃、相対大気湿度50%)で測定した。剪断強さについての尺度は、時間で表される、おもりが落下するまでの時間であり、その都度、少なくとも3回の測定から平均が計算された。
剥離強度(接着力)の測定に際して、その都度、25mm幅の試験片をボール紙製の試験体上に貼り付け、且つ、重さ1kgのローラーで1回ロールがけした。その後、それを、引張歪試験装置の上方の顎の端部にはさむ。接着片を300mm/分で、試験面から180°の角度で引き剥がす、即ち、試験片を折り返し、且つ、試験体に平行に引き剥がし、且つそのために必要な力の消費を測定した。剥離強度についての尺度は、N/25mmにおける力であり、それは少なくとも2回の測定からの平均としてもたらされた。剥離強度は、接着後1分で測定した。この時間の後、接着力が完全に形成された。この試験方法は、本質的に、Finat試験法(FTM)、No.1、No.8およびNo.9に相応する。
水性重合体分散液を、表1に記載される成分から乳化重合によって製造し、特性を表1内に記載した。乳化重合に際して、さらに、その都度1質量部のDisponil(登録商標)FES 77 (乳化剤)、0.2質量部のDowfax(登録商標)2A1、0.4質量部の過硫酸ナトリウム(開始剤)、0.16質量部の重亜硫酸アセトン、および0.1質量部のtert−ブチルヒドロペルオキシドを用いた。固体含有率は約52〜56質量%であった。pH値を約5〜7に調節した。
4) N−(1,1−ジメチル−3−オキソブチル)−アクリルアミド (ジアセトン−アクリルアミド)
5) アジピン酸ジヒドラジド
6) HPA=ヒドロキシプロピルアクリレート。
比較例6として、市販品Acronal(登録商標)A107を使用した。これは、アニオン性のポリアクリレート(nBAおよび(メタ)アクリル酸からのコポリマー)である。
質量平均分子量 Mw=148000g/mol。
感圧性接着剤分散液を、その都度、粘着付与剤としての20質量部の分散液D1〜D21もしくは比較分散液V1〜V11、接着剤ポリマーとしての約80質量部のAcronal(登録商標)V215、および0.5質量部のLumiten(登録商標) l−SC (湿潤剤)から製造した(ここで、量の記載はその都度、それぞれの分散液中に含有される固形物に対する)。
Claims (17)
- 質量平均分子量50000未満を有し且つガラス転移温度−40℃以上0℃以下、有利には−35℃以上0℃以下を有し、少なくとも1つの分子量調節剤の存在下での乳化重合によって製造可能であり、且つ
(a) 少なくとも1つのC1〜C20−アルキル(メタ)アクリレート: 少なくとも40質量%
(b) 少なくとも1つのビニル芳香族化合物: 0〜30質量%
(c) 少なくとも1つの酸モノマー: 少なくとも0.1質量%
(d) さらなるモノマー: 0〜50質量%
(モノマー量の記載は各々、全てのモノマーの合計に対する)
を含有するモノマー混合物から製造可能である、水中に分散された少なくとも1つの重合体を含有する水性分散液。 - 前記重合体の質量平均分子量が1500〜45000、有利には2000〜20000であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の分散液。
- 分子量調節剤を用いない重合について計算された前記重合体の理論ガラス転移温度が−25℃よりも高いことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の分散液。
- モノマー(a)が60〜99.9質量%の量で使用され、且つ、1つまたはそれより多くのC1〜C10−アルキル(メタ)アクリレートから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の分散液。
- 前記モノマー(b)が、ビニルトルエン、α−メチルスチレン、パラ−メチルスチレン、α−ブチルスチレン、4−n−ブチルスチレン、4−n−デシルスチレンおよび有利にはスチレンから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の分散液。
- 前記酸モノマー(c)が、0.1〜20質量%の量で使用され、且つ、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、イタコン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸、クロトン酸、ビニル酢酸、ビニル乳酸、ビニルスルホン酸、スチレンスルホン酸、アクリルアミドメチルプロパンスルホン酸、スルホプロピルアクリレートおよびスルホプロピルメタクリレートおよびそれらのモノマーの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の分散液。
- 前記さらなるモノマー(d)が、0.1〜40質量%の量で使用され、且つ、C1〜C20−ヒドロキシアルキル(メタ)アクリレート、20個までの炭素原子を有するカルボン酸のビニルエステル、エチレン性不飽和ニトリル、ビニルハロゲン化物、1〜10個の炭素原子を有するアルコールのビニルエーテル、2〜8個の炭素原子および1または2個の二重結合を有する脂肪族炭化水素、(メタ)アクリルアミド、またはこれらのモノマーの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の分散液。
- 前記重合体が、
(a) 少なくとも1つのC1〜C10−アルキル(メタ)アクリレート: 60〜99.7質量%
(b) スチレン: 0〜30質量%
(c) アクリル酸およびメタクリル酸から選択される少なくとも1つの酸モノマー: 0.2〜20質量%、
(d) C1〜C10−ヒドロキシアルキル(メタ)アクリレートおよび酢酸ビニルから選択されるさらなるモノマー: 0.1〜30質量%
(モノマー量の記載は各々、全てのモノマーの合計に対する)
を含有するモノマー混合物から製造可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の分散液。 - 前記分子量調節剤がモノマー100質量部に対して少なくとも1質量部の量で使用され、且つ、有利にはtert−ドデシルメルカプタン、n−ドデシルメルカプタンおよび(2−エチルヘキシル)チオグリコレートからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の分散液。
- 追加的に少なくとも1つの分散された接着剤ポリマーを含有する、接着剤分散液であることを特徴とする、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の分散液。
- 前記接着剤ポリマーが、60〜95質量%、殊に70〜90質量%の量で、且つ前記低分子重合体が5〜40質量%、殊に10〜30質量%の量で含有され、ここで、前記の量の記載はそれぞれ、固体含分に対することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の分散液。
- 前記重合体のガラス転移温度が、前記接着剤ポリマーのガラス転移温度よりも高いことを特徴とする、請求項10または11に記載の分散液。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の接着剤ポリマー不含の水性分散液を、接着剤ポリマー含有水性分散液と混合するか、または、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の分散液の重合体を、水中に分散された接着剤ポリマーの存在下で製造することを特徴とする、請求項10から12までのいずれか1項に記載の接着剤ポリマー含有分散液の製造方法。
- 接着剤または被覆組成物中の添加剤としての、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の水性分散液の使用。
- 接着剤用の粘着付与剤としての、請求項14に記載の使用。
- 接着ラベル、接着フィルムまたは接着テープを製造するための、請求項14または15に記載の使用。
- 請求項10から12までのいずれか1項に記載の接着剤ポリマー含有分散液で支持体材料を被覆することによって得られる自己接着性物品。
