耐火物はガラスオーバーフロートラフ又は成形ブロックを含む、

アルミニウム相と、
シリカ相とを含む耐火物であって、
アルミニウム相は本質的にAl2O3から成り、
シリカ相は、耐火物のボディ部内のアルミニウム相全体にわたって実質的に均一に分散し、
添加剤の実質的に全てがアルミニウム相の外側にあり、
添加剤の実質的に全てがシリカ相内にあり、
添加剤はアルミニウム相及びシリカ相のそれぞれの中にある、
あるいはこれらの組み合わせである。
項目1〜56のいずれか一項に記載の、ガラスオーバーフロートラフを含む耐火物を用意するステップと、
ガラス材料をガラスオーバーフロートラフに流し入れ、またガラスオーバーフロートラフの少なくとも1つのリップから流れ出させることでガラス接触領域を規定するステップを含み、ガラス材料は、アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属又はこれらの組み合わせを有するアルミノシリケートガラスを含む。
Claims (62)
- 少なくとも約10wt%のAl2O3と、
少なくとも約1wt%のSiO2とを含む耐火物であって、
約0.5wt%以下のZrO2を含み、
少なくとも約0.2wt%の添加剤を含み、
約8wt%以下の前記添加剤を含み、
少なくとも約0.25wt%の前記添加剤を含み、
TiO2、Y2O3、SrO、BaO、CaO、Ta2O5、Fe2O3、ZnO、MgO又はこれらの組み合わせを含み、
クリープ速度が約1×10−4h−1以下であり、
クリープ速度が少なくとも約1×10−6h−1であり、
理論密度の割合が少なくとも約90%であり、
約2vol%以下の見掛け気孔率を有し、
ガラスオーバーフロートラフ又は成形ブロックを含む、
あるいはこれらの組み合わせである耐火物。 - 前記クリープ速度が、約5.0×10−5h−1以下、約7.5×10−6h−1以下、約4.9×10−6h−1以下又は約1.01×10−6h−1以下である、請求項1に記載の耐火物。
- 前記クリープ速度が、少なくとも約2×10−6h−1、少なくとも約8×10−6h−1又は少なくとも約1×10−5h−1である、請求項1又は2のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記理論密度の割合が、約95%以下、約94%以下又は約93%以下である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記理論密度の割合が、少なくとも約91%、少なくとも約92%又は少なくとも約93%である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記見掛け気孔率が、約0.8vol%以下、約0.5vol%以下又は約0.2vol%以下である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約10wt%のAl2O3と、
少なくとも約1wt%のSiO2と、
添加剤と、
アルミニウム相と、
シリカ相とを含む耐火物であって、
前記アルミニウム相が本質的にAl2O3から成り、
前記シリカ相が前記耐火物のボディ部内の前記アルミニウム相全体にわたって実質的に均一に分散し、
前記添加剤の実質的に全てが前記アルミニウム相の外側にあり、
前記添加剤の実質的に全てが前記シリカ相内にあり、
前記添加剤が前記アルミニウム相及び前記シリカ相のそれぞれの中にある、
あるいはこれらの組み合わせである耐火物。 - 約8wt%以下の前記添加剤を含む、請求項7に記載の耐火物。
- 前記シリカ相が、ケイ酸アルミニウム、ケイ酸マグネシウム、ケイ酸カルシウム、ケイ酸バリウム、ケイ酸ストロンチウム、ケイ酸イットリウム又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項8に記載の耐火物。
- 前記添加剤の実質的に全てが前記シリカ相内にある、請求項8又は9のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 約1wt%以下のアルカリ金属酸化物、約0.5wt%以下のアルカリ金属酸化物又は約0.3wt%以下のアルカリ金属酸化物を含む、請求項8〜10のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記アルカリ金属酸化物の実質的に全てが前記シリカ相内にある、請求項11に記載の耐火物。
- 前記耐火物の縁と前記ボディ部及び前記ボディ部の外側との間に配置された周縁領域を含み、前記周縁領域のいずれの部位も、前記耐火物の縁の約20mm以下、前記耐火物の縁の約10mm以下、前記耐火物の縁の約5mm以下又は前記耐火物の縁の約1mm以下内にある、請求項7〜12のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記シリカ相の融点が、少なくとも約1300℃、少なくとも約1400℃、少なくとも約1500℃、少なくとも約1600℃又は少なくとも約1700℃である、請求項7〜13のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記シリカ相の融点が、少なくとも、前記耐火物の形成に用いる焼結温度前後である、請求項14に記載の耐火物。
- 前記添加剤を焼結助剤として備える、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- SiO2を、非晶質SiO2、結晶性SiO2又はこれらの組み合わせとして備える、請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記耐火物中のAl2O3の少なくとも約16%、Al2O3の少なくとも約25%又はAl2O3の少なくとも約50%を反応性Al2O3として備える、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記耐火物中のAl2O3の約99%以下、Al2O3の約90%以下又はAl2O3の約75%以下を反応性Al2O3として備える、請求項1〜18のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約0.2wt%のZrO2及び少なくとも約0.2wt%のY2O3を含む、請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 約0.3wt%以下のZrO2、約0.2wt%以下のZrO2又は約0.05wt%以下のZrO2を含む、請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも0.03wt%のZrO2、少なくとも0.1wt%のZrO2又は少なくとも0.25wt%のZrO2を含む、請求項1〜20のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約0.2wt%の前記添加剤、少なくとも約0.4wt%の前記添加剤又は少なくとも約0.6wt%の前記添加剤を含む、請求項1〜22のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 約8wt%以下の前記添加剤、約7wt%以下の前記添加剤又は約6wt%以下の前記添加剤を含む、請求項1〜23のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記添加剤が、前記耐火物の複数の添加剤のうちのある特定の添加剤である、請求項1〜24のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記複数の添加剤のそれぞれを少なくとも約0.3wt%、前記複数の添加剤のそれぞれを少なくとも約0.8wt%、前記複数の添加剤のそれぞれを少なくとも1.6wt%又は前記複数の添加剤のそれぞれを少なくとも2.5wt%含む、請求項25に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約5wt%の前記特定の添加剤を含む、請求項25に記載の耐火物。
- 前記耐火物中の前記複数の添加剤の総含有量が、少なくとも約3wt%、少なくとも約5wt%又は少なくとも約7wt%である、請求項25〜27のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記耐火物中の前記複数の添加剤の総含有量が、約14wt%以下、約12wt%以下又は約10wt%以下である、請求項25〜27のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約0.2wt%のTiO2、少なくとも約0.4wt%のTiO2又は少なくとも0.6wt%のTiO2を含む、請求項1〜29のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 約4.0wt%以下のTiO2、約3.0wt%以下のTiO2又は約2.0wt%以下のTiO2を含む、請求項1〜30のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約0.2wt%のMgO、少なくとも約0.4wt%のMgO又は少なくとも約0.6wt%のMgOを含む、請求項1〜31のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 約4.5wt%以下のMgO、約3.5wt%以下のMgO又は約2.5wt%以下のMgOを含む、請求項1〜32のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約0.2wt%のCaO、少なくとも約0.5wt%のCaO又は少なくとも約0.7wt%のCaOを含む、請求項1〜33のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約0.2wt%のFe2O3、少なくとも約0.7wt%のFe2O3又は少なくとも約0.9wt%のFe2O3を含む、請求項1〜34のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約0.2wt%のTa2O5、少なくとも約0.4wt%のTa2O5又は少なくとも約0.6wt%のTa2O5を含む、請求項1〜35のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 約2.0wt%以下のTa2O5、約1.1wt%以下のTa2O5又は約0.7wt%以下のTa2O5を含む、請求項1〜36のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約1wt%のY2O3、少なくとも約2wt%のY2O3又は少なくとも約3wt%のY2O3を含む、請求項1〜37のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 約9wt%以下のY2O3、約8wt%以下のY2O3又は約7wt%以下のY2O3を含む、請求項1〜38のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- TiO2が前記耐火物中の唯一の添加剤である、請求項1〜24、30及び31のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記複数の添加剤がTiO2及びMgOだけを含む、請求項25〜33のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記複数の添加剤がTiO2、MgO及びCaOだけを含む、請求項25〜34のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記複数の添加剤がTiO2及びFe2O3だけを含む、請求項25〜31及び35のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記複数の添加剤がTiO2、Fe2O3及びTa2O5だけを含む、請求項25〜31及び35〜37のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- Ta2O5が前記耐火物中の唯一の添加剤である、請求項1〜24、36及び37のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- Y2O3が前記耐火物の唯一の添加剤である、請求項1〜24、38及び39のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約20wt%のAl2O3、少なくとも約50wt%のAl2O3、少なくとも約70wt%のAl2O3、少なくとも約85wt%のAl2O3、少なくとも約90wt%のAl2O3又は少なくとも約92wt%のAl2O3を含む、請求項1〜46のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 約95wt%以下のAl2O3、約93wt%以下のAl2O3、約92wt%以下のAl2O3又は約90%以下のAl2O3を含む、請求項1〜47のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 約7wt%以下のSiO2、約6wt%以下のSiO2又は約4wt%以下のSiO2を含む、請求項1〜48のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも約1.1wt%のSiO2、少なくとも約1.5wt%のSiO2、少なくとも約2.1wt%のSiO2又は少なくとも約2.7wt%のSiO2を含む、請求項1〜49のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 破壊靭性が、少なくとも約2.1MPa−m1/2、少なくとも約2.5MPa−m1/2又は少なくとも約2.9MPa−m1/2である、請求項1〜50のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 約0.5m、約1.1m、約2.0m又は少なくとも約4.0mの長さを有する、請求項1〜51のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 前記耐火物の粒子の粒径のD90値が、500マイクロメートル以下、350マイクロメートル以下又は200マイクロメートル以下である、請求項1〜52のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- ガラスオーバーフロートラフ又は成形ブロックを含む、請求項1〜53のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 焼結される、請求項1〜54のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- 等圧圧縮、スリップキャスティング又はこれらの組み合わせで形成される、請求項1〜55のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物。
- ガラス板の形成方法であって、
請求項1〜56のいずれか一項に記載の、ガラスオーバーフロートラフを含む耐火物を用意するステップと、
ガラス材料を前記ガラスオーバーフロートラフに流し入れ、また前記ガラスオーバーフロートラフの少なくとも1つのリップから流れ出させることでガラス接触領域を規定するステップとを含み、前記ガラス材料が、アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属又はこれらの組み合わせを有するアルミノシリケートガラスを含む方法。 - 前記ガラス板が、少なくとも約20マイクロメートル、少なくとも約30マイクロメートル又は少なくとも約50マイクロメートルの厚さを有する、請求項57に記載の方法。
- 前記ガラス板が、約5mm以下、約3mm以下又は約1.1mm以下の厚さを有する、請求項57又は58のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ガラス板が、少なくとも約0.2m、少なくとも約0.5m、少なくとも約0.7m、少なくとも約1.1m、少なくとも約2.0m、少なくとも約2.8m又は少なくとも約3.4mの幅を有する、請求項57〜59のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ガラスオーバーフロートラフが、少なくとも約0.1m、少なくとも約0.3m又は少なくとも約0.5mの幅を有する、請求項57〜60のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ガラス板の幅、前記ガラスオーバーフロートラフの幅又はその両方が、前記ガラス板を形成する方向に直角の方向で測定される、請求項57〜60のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
