Abstract
【解決手段】圧着端子付きアルミ電線11は、アルミニウム合金製の複数のアルミ素線を撚り合わせた導体を有する被覆電線13と、被覆電線13の絶縁被覆25を剥離して露出させた複数のアルミ素線を一体に単線化した導体部15と、単線化した導体部15に加締め接続された導体圧着部35を有する銅合金製の圧着端子17と、圧着端子17の導体圧着部35によって覆われないで外気に露出する前側露出導体部47及び後側露出導体部49に設けられた撥水剤19と、を備える。

Description
図5に示すように、この接続構造体501は、イオン化傾向の大きい金属(卑な金属:アルミニウム)である導体503を絶縁被覆505で被覆し、先端側に絶縁被覆505を剥がして露出させた電線先端部507を備えた被覆電線509と、電線先端部507を接続する電線接続部511を備え、導体503を構成する金属よりイオン化傾向の小さい金属(貴な金属:銅合金)で構成される接続端子513と、電線接続部511に接続した電線先端部507を封止する絶縁体515とで構成される。そして、接続端子513における電線接続部511よりも先端側部分に、長手方向において連通する内部空間を有したボックス部517を構成し、ボックス部517の電線接続部511側で開口する電線接続部側開口部521を絶縁体515で閉塞している。
(1) アルミニウム製またはアルミニウム合金製の複数の素線を撚り合わせた導体を有する被覆電線と、前記被覆電線の絶縁体を剥離して露出させた前記複数の素線を一体に単線化した導体部と、単線化した前記導体部に加締め接続された導体圧着部を有する銅製または銅合金製の圧着端子と、前記圧着端子の導体圧着部によって覆われないで外気に露出する前記導体部に設けられた撥水剤と、を備えることを特徴とする圧着端子付きアルミ電線。
図1に示すように、本発明の一実施形態に係る圧着端子付きアルミ電線11は、被覆電線13と、被覆電線13の複数のアルミ素線(素線)21を一体に単線化した導体部15と、圧着端子17と、撥水剤19と、を主要な構成とする。
本実施形態の圧着端子付きアルミ電線11の製造方法は、少なくとも剥離工程、単線化工程、加締め工程、撥水処理工程を含む。
先ず、剥離工程は、アルミニウム製またはアルミニウム合金製の複数のアルミ素線21を撚り合わせた導体23を有する被覆電線13の絶縁被覆25を剥離して導体23を露出させる。露出した導体23が電線先端部27となる。
本実施形態に係る圧着端子付きアルミ電線11では、卑な金属(アルミニウム製またはアルミニウム合金製)からなる複数のアルミ素線21が、一体に単線化された導体部15となって、貴な金属(銅製または銅合金製)からなる圧着端子17の導体圧着部35に加締め接続されるので、カソード部/アノード部の面積比が小さくなって異種金属接触腐食の促進を遅らせることが可能となる。また、導体圧着部35に覆われないで外気に露出する導体部15に撥水剤19が設けられているため、導体圧着部35における圧着端子17と導体23との接触部分に水分が付着することが防止、或いは水の接触面積が最小限となり、異種金属接触腐食の促進を遅らせることが可能となる。
異種金属接触腐食では、電解質溶液中で種類の異なる金属が電気的に接触すると、両者間のイオン化傾向の差により電位差が生じ腐食が進展する。このため、卑な金属の腐食が通常に比べ加速される。電解質溶液中においてはアルミニウムのように電位の低い、卑な金属ほど高いイオン化傾向を有し、イオンになりやすい。従って、アルミニウム合金製の導体23と、これよりも腐食電位の序列が高い銅合金製の圧着端子17とが電解質溶液中で接触した場合には、イオン化傾向の高いアルミニウム合金製の導体23において溶出が進行する。つまり、アノード反応は導体23のみで生じる。

本実施形態に係る圧着端子付きアルミ電線11の製造方法では、卑な金属(アルミニウム製またはアルミニウム合金製)からなる複数のアルミ素線21が単線化工程によって予め一本の導体部15に形成され、この導体部15が貴な金属(銅製または銅合金製)からなる圧着端子17の導体圧着部35に加締め接続される。
なお、本発明は、上述した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、適宜、変形、改良、等が可能である。その他、上述した実施形態における各構成要素の材質、形状、寸法、数、配置箇所、等は本発明を達成できるものであれば任意であり、限定されない。

Claims (4)
- アルミニウム製またはアルミニウム合金製の複数の素線を撚り合わせた導体を有する被覆電線と、
前記被覆電線の絶縁体を剥離して露出させた前記複数の素線を一体に単線化した導体部と、
単線化した前記導体部に加締め接続された導体圧着部を有する銅製または銅合金製の圧着端子と、
前記圧着端子の導体圧着部によって覆われないで外気に露出する前記導体部に設けられた撥水剤と、
を備えることを特徴とする圧着端子付きアルミ電線。 - アルミニウム製またはアルミニウム合金製の複数の素線を撚り合わせた導体を有する被覆電線の絶縁体を剥離して前記導体を露出させる剥離工程と、
露出した前記導体における複数の素線を一体に単線化する単線化工程と、
単線化した導体部に銅製または銅合金製の圧着端子の導体圧着部を加締め接続する加締め工程と、
前記圧着端子の導体圧着部によって覆われないで外気に露出する前記導体部に撥水処理を施す撥水処理工程と、
を有することを特徴とする圧着端子付きアルミ電線の製造方法。 - 前記単線化は、超音波溶着、熱溶着、プレスまたは半田付けにより前記複数の素線を一体とすることによって行われることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の圧着端子付きアルミ電線の製造方法。
- 前記撥水処理は、外気に露出する前記導体部に撥水剤を噴霧、滴下または塗布することによって行われることを特徴とする請求項2または請求項3に記載の圧着端子付きアルミ電線の製造方法。
