Abstract
【解決手段】開腔、減圧治療装置が複数のカプセル型脚状部材106を含み、各々は脚状マニホルド部材がある内部を有し、当該内部への流体流を受け入れるよう機能する開口部114−120が形成され、複数のカプセル型脚状部材に流体的に連結された中央連結部材を含み、中央連結部材112は連結マニホルド部材を有し、流体の除去を可能にする構成とする。

本発明は、2008年10月29日提出の米国仮出願第61/109,410号「Reduced−Pressure,Wound−Closure System and Method」、2008年10月29日提出の米国仮出願第61/109,486号「Reduced−Pressure,Abdominal Treatment System and Method」、2008年10月29日提出の米国仮出願第61/109,390号「Open−Cavity,Reduced−Pressure Wound Dressing and System」、2008年10月29日提出の米国仮出願第61/109,448号「Reduced−Pressure,Deep−Tissue Closure System and Method」の35USC119条(e)の利益を主張する。これらの仮出願の全てがあらゆる目的のために本書に援用される。
Claims (22)
- 体腔の組織部位を治療するための開腔、減圧治療装置であって、当該治療装置が、
複数のカプセル型脚状部材であって、当該カプセル型脚状部材が内部を有し、当該内部に脚状マニホルド部材が配置され、前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材には前記内部への流体流を受け入れるよう機能する開口部が形成される、複数のカプセル型脚状部材と、
中央連結部材であって、当該中央連結部材が連結マニホルド部材を有し、前記脚状マニホルド部材が前記連結マニホルド部材と流体連通する、中央連結部材と、
前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材と前記中央連結部材の下およびその間に延在する底面であって、前記開口部が前記底面を通って延在する、底面とを具えることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置において、前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材の各カプセル型脚状部材が、
第1の脚状カプセル化部材と、
開口部が形成された第2の脚状カプセル化部材とを具え、
前記脚状マニホルド部材が第1の面、第2の内向き面、第1の側端部、および第2の側端部を有し、
前記第1の脚状カプセル化部材が前記脚状マニホルド部材の第1の面に隣接して配置され、前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材が前記脚状マニホルド部材の第2の内向き面に隣接して配置され、前記第1の脚状カプセル化部材と前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材が前記脚状マニホルド部材の第1の側端部と第2の側端部に隣接して連結されることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置において、前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材の各カプセル型脚状部材が複数の脚状モジュールを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置がさらに、前記底面を規定する非接着性ドレープを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置がさらに、非接着性ドレープを具え、前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材が前記非接着性ドレープの少なくとも一部を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項5に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置において、前記非接着性ドレープがさらに、サイズの目盛りを示す目印を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置において、前記中央連結部材は、
開口部が形成され、周端部を有する第1の連結カプセル化部材と、
開口部が形成された第2の連結カプセル化部材とを具え、
前記第1の連結カプセル化部材の周端部が、少なくとも部分的に、前記第2の連結カプセル化部材に連結されることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置において、前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材の各カプセル型脚状部材は、
開口部が形成された第1の脚状カプセル化部材と、
開口部が形成された第2の脚状カプセル化部材とを具え、
前記脚状マニホルド部材が第1の面、第2の内向き面、第1の側端部、および第2の側端部を有し、
前記第1の脚状カプセル化部材が前記脚状マニホルド部材の第1の面に隣接して配置され、前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材が前記脚状マニホルド部材の第2の内向き面に隣接して配置され、前記第1の脚状カプセル化部材と前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材が前記脚状マニホルド部材の第1の側端部と第2の側端部に隣接して連結され、
前記中央連結部材は、
開口部が形成され、周端部を有する第1の連結カプセル化部材と、
開口部が形成された第2の連結カプセル化部材とを具え、
前記第1の連結カプセル化部材の周端部が、少なくとも部分的に、前記第2の連結カプセル化部材に連結されることを特徴とする装置。 - 患者の体腔で用いるための減圧治療装置を製造する方法であって、当該方法が、
複数のカプセル型脚状部材を形成するステップであって、各カプセル型脚状部材は脚状マニホルド部材がある内部を有し、当該内部への流体流を受け入れるよう機能する開口部が形成されるステップと、
連結マニホルド部材を有する中央連結部材を形成するステップと、
前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材に前記中央連結部材を連結するステップであって、各脚状マニホルド部材が前記連結マニホルド部材と流体連通するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項9に記載の減圧治療装置を製造する方法において、当該方法が、開口部を有する非接着性ドレープを形成するステップを含み、前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材を形成するステップが脚状カプセル型部材として前記非接着性ドレープの少なくとも一部を用いるステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項10に記載の減圧治療装置を製造する方法において、前記非接着性ドレープを形成するステップが弾力性ドレープを形成するステップと、前記弾力性ドレープを通る開口部を形成するステップと、切り取られる様々なサイズを示す目印を前記弾力性ドレープ上に設けるステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の減圧治療装置を製造する方法において、複数のカプセル型脚状部材を形成し、連結マニホルド部材を有する中央連結部材を形成し、前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材に前記中央連結部材を連結するステップが、第1の非接着性ドレープを提供し、当該第1の非接着性ドレープの面に隣接して、複数の脚状マニホルド部材と連結マニホルド部材を有する、マニホルドユニットを設けるステップと、前記マニホルドユニット上に第2の非接着性ドレープを設けるステップと、前記第1の非接着性ドレープと前記第2の非接着性ドレープを連結して、前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材と前記中央連結部材を形成するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の減圧治療装置を製造する方法において、複数のカプセル型脚状部材を形成し、連結マニホルド部材を有する中央連結部材を形成し、前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材に前記中央連結部材を連結するステップが、第1の非接着性ドレープを提供し、当該第1の非接着性ドレープの面に隣接して、複数の脚状マニホルド部材と連結マニホルド部材を有する、マニホルドユニットを設けるステップと、前記マニホルドユニット上に第2の非接着性ドレープを設けるステップと、前記第1の非接着性ドレープと前記第2の非接着性ドレープを連結して前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材と前記中央連結部材を形成するステップと、前記第1の非接着性ドレープと前記第2の非接着性ドレープとを切り取るステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の減圧治療装置を製造する方法において、複数のカプセル型脚状部材を形成し、連結マニホルド部材を有する中央連結部材を形成し、前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材に前記中央連結部材を連結するステップが、第1の非接着性ドレープを提供し、当該第1の非接着性ドレープの面に隣接して、複数の脚状マニホルド部材と連結マニホルド部材を有する、マニホルドユニットを設けるステップと、前記マニホルドユニット上に第2の非接着性ドレープを設けるステップと、前記第1の非接着性ドレープと前記第2の非接着性ドレープを連結して前記複数のカプセル型脚状部材と前記中央連結部材を形成するステップとを含み、前記第1の非接着性ドレープと前記第2の非接着性ドレープを連結するステップが第1の非接着性ドレープを前記第2の接着性ドレープに接着するステップを含み、さらに前記第1の非接着性ドレープと前記第2の非接着性ドレープとを切り取るステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項10に記載の減圧治療装置を製造する方法において、複数のカプセル型脚状部材を形成するステップが、各カプセル型脚状部材について、
第1の脚状カプセル化部材を形成するステップと、
前記第1の脚状カプセル化部材に開口部を形成するステップと、
第2の脚状カプセル化部材を形成するステップと、
前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材に開口部を形成するステップと、
脚状マニホルド部材の第1の面に隣接して前記第1の脚状カプセル化部材を配置するステップであって、前記脚状マニホルド部材が前記第1の面、第2の内向き面、第1の側端部、および第2の側端部を有するステップと、
前記脚状マニホルド部材の第2の内向き面に隣接して前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材を配置するステップと、
前記脚状マニホルド部材の第1の側端部と第2の側端部に隣接して前記第1の脚状カプセル化部材と前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材とを連結するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項10に記載の減圧治療装置を製造する方法において、中央連結部材を形成するステップが、
周端部を有する第1の連結カプセル化部材を形成するステップと、
前記第1の連結カプセル化部材に開口部を形成するステップと、
第2の連結カプセル化部材を形成するステップと、
前記第2の連結カプセル化部材に開口部を形成するステップと、
少なくとも部分的に、前記第1の連結カプセル化部材の周端部を前記第2の連結カプセル化部材に連結するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項10に記載の減圧治療装置を製造する方法において、複数のカプセル型脚状部材を形成するステップが、各カプセル型脚状部材について、
脚状マニホルド部材を提供するステップであって、前記脚状マニホルド部材が第1の面、第2の内向き面、第1の側端部、および第2の側端部を有するステップと、
第1の脚状カプセル化部材を形成するステップと、
第2の脚状カプセル化部材を形成するステップと、
前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材に開口部を形成するステップと、
前記脚状マニホルド部材の第1の面に隣接して前記第1の脚状カプセル化部材を配置するステップと、
前記脚状マニホルド部材の第2の内向き面に隣接して前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材を配置するステップと、
前記第1の脚状カプセル化部材と前記第2の脚状カプセル化部材とを連結するステップとを含み、
前記中央連結部材を形成するステップが、
第1の面と第2の内向き面とを有する連結マニホルド部材を提供するステップと、
周端部を有する第1の連結カプセル化部材を形成するステップと、
前記第1の連結カプセル化部材に開口部を形成するステップと、
第2の連結カプセル化部材を形成するステップと、
前記第2の連結カプセル化部材に開口部を形成するステップと、
前記連結マニホルド部材の第1の面に前記第1の連結カプセル化部材を配置するステップと、
前記連結マニホルド部材の第2の内向き面に前記第2の連結カプセル化部材を配置するステップと、
少なくとも部分的に、前記第1の連結カプセル化部材の周端部を前記第2の連結カプセル化部材に連結するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 頂面と底面を有する中央流体ハブであって、当該流体ハブが前記頂面の少なくとも一部を規定する発泡体マニホルドと、前記底面の少なくとも一部を規定する実質的に流体を浸透しない壁とを含み、当該流体を浸透しない壁が複数の開口部を含む、中央流体ハブと、
近位端と遠位端および頂面と底面を有する複数の伸長部材であって、当該伸長部材が前記実質的に流体を浸透しない壁で囲まれる発泡体を含み、前記複数の伸長部材の近位端が前記中央流体ハブと流体連通し、前記伸長部材が当該伸長部材の底面の少なくとも一部に沿って流体を浸透しない壁を通り延在する開口部を含む、複数の伸長部材とを具え、
前記複数の伸長部材が前記中央流体ハブから延在する第1の長さ(L1)と、前記頂面に略平行な第1の幅(W1)とを有し、
前記中央ハブが第1と第2の伸長部材の間の第2の幅(W2)を有し、
当該第2の幅が前記第1の幅より大きい(W2>W1)ことを特徴とする開腔、減圧治療装置。 - 請求項18に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置において、前記複数の伸長部材のアスペクト比(L1〜W1)が3.0〜10.0の範囲内であることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項18に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置において、前記複数の伸長部材のアスペクト比が3.5より大きいことを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項18に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置がさらに、前記複数の伸長部材の間に延在する実質的に流体を浸透しない材料を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項18に記載の開腔、減圧治療装置がさらに、前記複数の伸長部材の間に延在する拡張可能な材料を具えることを特徴とする装置。
