Description
−0ないし10部、好ましくは7部未満の重縮合触媒、たとえば硫酸アンモニウム;
−0ないし2部のシラン、特にアミノシラン;
−0ないし20部、好ましくは6ないし15部のオイル;および
−0ないし20部、好ましくは12部未満のアンモニア水溶液(20重量%溶液)。
頂部にコンデンサがあり、攪拌システムを備えた2リットルのリアクタに、378gのフェノール(4mol)、および37%の水溶液として809gのホルムアルデヒド(10mol)を導入し(2.5に等しいホルムアルデヒド/フェノールのモル比)、混合物を、攪拌しながら45℃に加熱した。
例1の条件下で液体樹脂を調製した。
−5/1に等しい圧縮比(見かけ厚さの圧縮下の厚さに対する比として定義される)による圧縮下で24時間後の厚さ回復性。この厚さ回復性は、測定された厚さの見かけ厚さに対する比であり、%で表される;これは製品の優れた寸法挙動を評価することを可能にする;および
−スタンピングによってインシュレーティング製品から切り取った試料に関するASTM C 686-71T規格に従った引張強さ。試料は、トーラス形状をしており、長さが122mm、幅が46mmであり、外縁での切片の曲率半径が38mmに等しく、内縁での切片の曲率半径が12.5mmに等しかった。
サイズ剤組成物を例2の条件下で調製したが、コーンスターチから得られたデキストリンをダイズ蛋白質水解物(Herculesから販売されているSoyad(登録商標) 12UT)で置換するように変更した。
Claims (16)
- 鉱物繊維、特にガラス繊維または岩石繊維用のサイズ剤組成物であって、液体の総重量に対して表わされる遊離ホルムアルデヒド含有量が0.1%以下である液体フェノール樹脂と増量剤とを含有する組成物。
- 前記液体フェノール樹脂が、フェノール−ホルムアルデヒドおよびフェノール−ホルムアルデヒド−アミンの縮合物で主に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 液体の総重量に対して表わされる遊離フェノール含有量が0.5%以下、好ましくは0.4以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- 前記アミンが、アルカノールアミンまたは環状アミンであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3の何れか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記アミンが、モノエタノールアミンまたはジエタノールアミンであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の組成物。
- 前記樹脂は、遊離ホルムアルデヒド含有量が0.1%以下であり、遊離フェノール含有量が0.4%以下であり、20℃での水希釈性が1000%以上、好ましくは2000%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5の何れか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記増量剤が、炭水化物、リグニン誘導体、特にリグノスルホン酸アンモニウム(ALS)またはリグノスルホン酸ナトリウムなどのリグノスルホン酸塩、および動物性または植物性の蛋白質、特にダイズ蛋白質から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6の何れか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記炭水化物が、エリトロース、トレオース、リボース、アラビノース、キシロース、リキソース、グルコース、アロース、アルトロース、マンノース、グロース、イドース、ガラクトース、タロース、プシコース、フルクトース、ソルボースおよびタガトースなどの単糖類、ラクトース、マルトース、スクロース、セロビオース、トレハロース、ラフィノース、ゲンチアノース、メリビオースおよびスタキオースなどの少糖類、ならびに、加工または未加工の澱粉、セルロース、グアーガムおよびキサンタンガムなどのガム、アルギナートおよびペクチンなどの多糖類から選択されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の組成物。
- 更に、100乾燥重量部の、樹脂および尿素によって構成される混合物当たり、0ないし40部の尿素を含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし8の何れか1項に記載の組成物。
- 増量剤の含有量は100乾燥重量部の液体樹脂当たり0.1ないし40部で変化し、好ましくは20部以下、たとえば3ないし20部であり、特に15部以下であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし9の何れか1項に記載の組成物。
- 100乾燥重量部の、液体樹脂および適切な場合には尿素当たり、以下の添加剤を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし10の何れか1項に記載の組成物:
−0ないし10部、好ましくは7部未満の触媒、たとえば硫酸アンモニウム;
−0ないし2部のシラン、特にアミノシラン;
−0ないし20部、好ましくは6ないし15部のオイル;および
−0ないし20部、好ましくは12部未満のアンモニア水溶液(20重量%溶液)。 - 液体の総重量に対して表される遊離ホルムアルデヒド含有量が0.1%以下である液体フェノール樹脂と増量剤とを含有する樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1ないし11の何れか1項に記載されたサイズ剤組成物によってサイジングされた鉱物繊維を含むインシュレーション製品、特に断熱および/防音製品。
- 前記繊維がガラス繊維または岩石繊維であることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の製品。
- 請求項12に記載の樹脂組成物の使用であって、鉱物繊維、特にガラス繊維または岩石繊維をベースとしたインシュレーティング製品の製造のために意図されたサイズ剤組成物の製造のための使用。
- 請求項1ないし11の何れか1項に記載のサイズ剤組成物の使用であって、鉱物繊維、特にガラス繊維または岩石繊維をベースとしたインシュレーティング製品の製造のための使用。
