Abstract
【解決手段】差動歯車装置36は、入力軸66の軸端部68に嵌め着けられたスナップリング90の外周側に延設された第1円筒状端部100と上記スナップリング90との間に形成される円環状の隙間の径方向距離t1がスナップリング溝88の溝深さt2よりも小さくなるように形成された第1デフケース96を備えることから、スナップリング90に外力たとえば遠心力やスラスト力が作用してもスナップリング90がスナップリング溝88から完全に抜け出す前に第1円筒状端部100の内周面に当接するので、スナップリング90がスナップリング溝88内に保持される。

Claims (5)
- 円筒状の入力軸と、該入力軸と同心に設けられてそれに入力される回転を減速して出力する遊星歯車式の減速機と、軸心方向において該入力軸に隣接して設けられ、該減速機により回転駆動されることで前記軸心上に配設された一対の車軸にそれらの回転差を許容しつつ駆動力を伝達する差動歯車装置とを、備えた車両用動力伝達装置であって、
前記減速機は、前記入力軸の軸端部に相対回転不能に嵌合されたサンギヤを備え、
該サンギヤは、それの前記差動歯車装置側において前記入力軸の軸端部の外周面に形成された環状のスナップリング溝に嵌め着けられた円環状のスナップリングにより該差動歯車装置側への相対移動が阻止され、
前記差動歯車装置は、前記サンギヤ側に形成される円筒状端部またはそれに固定された部材が前記スナップリングの外周側に延設され、且つ該円筒状端部またはそれに固定された部材と該スナップリングとの間に形成される円環状の隙間の径方向距離が前記スナップリング溝の溝深さよりも小さく設定されたデフケースを備えることを特徴とする車両用動力伝達装置。 - 前記デフケースの円筒状端部の内周面と前記入力軸の軸端部の外周面との間を油密に封止するオイルシールを備え、
前記径方向距離は、前記デフケースと前記入力軸とが径方向に相対移動させられても前記スナップリングが前記円筒状端部またはそれに固定された部材に当接することにより、前記オイルシールの変形量が予め定められた許容変形範囲を超えないように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1の車両用動力伝達装置。 - 前記円筒状端部に固定された部材とは、該円筒状端部の内周面と前記入力軸の軸端部の外周面との間を油密に封止するために該円筒状端部の内周面に嵌め着けられたオイルシールの芯金であることを特徴とする請求項1の車両用動力伝達装置。
- 前記円筒状端部には、それの内周面と前記入力軸の軸端部の外周面との間に形成される円環状の隙間の容積を小さくして該隙間内に保持される潤滑油量を少なくする隙間減少部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2または3の車両用動力伝達装置。
- 前記入力軸は、前記軸心上に配設された電動機により回転駆動されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1の車両用動力伝達装置。
