Abstract
Description
熱可塑性樹脂を主成分とする組成物は、様々な成形方法により物品を製造するために使用されている。これらの物品は、高い機械的性質だけでなく、耐化学性、電気絶縁性、またこれら部材に引火したときには良好な難燃性などの特性も有しなければならない。重要な側面の一つは、これらの部材が発火してはならないことである。すなわち、炎を生じてはならないこと、或いは引火はするが最大限に高い温度で引火することである。
本出願人は、思いがけず、熱可塑性マトリックスに難燃性有機リン化合物を使用すると、熱可塑性部品と接触した状態で設置された又は当該部品付近に設置された金属部品の表面の悪化に至らない又はその悪化を制限する熱可塑性部品を製造することが可能になることを見出した。
・R1及びR2は同一のもの又は異なるものであり、そして1〜6個の炭素原子、好ましくは1〜3個の炭素原子を有する線状又は分岐のアルキル鎖及び/又はアリール基を表し;
・Mは、カルシウムイオン、マグネシウムイオン、アルミニウムイオン及び/又は亜鉛イオン、好ましくはマグネシウムイオン及び/又はアルミニウムイオンを表し;及び
・Zは2又は3、好ましくは3を表す。)
である。
例1:ポリアミド顆粒の製造
270℃の温度で200rpmのスクリュー速度及び35kg/時の出力を有するWerner&Pfleiderer ZSK40二軸押出器において、複数の成分を以下の表1に示した割合で混合させることにより組成物を製造した。この押出器のスロートからこの混合物にガラス繊維を添加した。この混合物を棒の状態に押出し、そしてこれらを切断して顆粒を得た。
製造された組成物は次のとおりである:
A:この組成物は、
・140mL/gの粘度数(ISO307基準法に従い、蟻酸中で測定)及び17600g/molのMn(GPCで測定)を有するポリアミド6,6(PA−6,6)と、
・30重量%のVetrotex社製983ガラス繊維と
を含む。
B:この組成物は、
・組成物Aと同じPA−6,6と、
・7重量%の赤リン(10%のマスターバッチの導入による:Masteret 24470 − マスターバッチ70/30Italmatch社)と、
・25重量%のVetrotex社製983ガラス繊維と
を含む。
C:この組成物は、
・組成物Aと同じPA−6,6と、
・21重量%の臭素化ポリスチレン:PDBS 80(Chemtura)と、
・30重量%のVetrotex社製983ガラス繊維と、
・6重量%のホウ酸亜鉛と
を含む。
D:この組成物は、
・組成物Aと同じPA−6,6と、
・11.6重量%のアルミニウムジエチルホスフィネート(Clariant)と、
・5.8重量%のM200メラミンポリホスフェート(Ciba)と、
・30重量%のVetrotex社製983ガラス繊維と
を含む。
10gの顆粒状重合体を、6cm2の表面積を有する金属部品1gと、蒸留水2mLとを有するガラスフラスコに導入した。このフラスコに栓をし、そしてこれを80〜90℃のオーブン内に7日間放置した。例C1においては、顆粒を金属物品の存在下には置かなかった。
次いで、金属物品を回収し、腐食や付着の痕跡が存在するかどうかを観察した。腐食の性質を、Philips XL30走査電子顕微鏡を定量X線微量分析とともに使用した観察(SEM/EDAX)により評価した。
それらの結果を以下の表にまとめる。
Claims (12)
- 熱可塑性部品と接触した状態で設置された又は該部品付近に設置された金属部品の外観の悪化を防ぐ、少なくする又は低減することのできる熱可塑性部品を製造するための熱可塑性マトリックスへの有機リン化合物の使用。
- 前記有機リン化合物が25℃の温度で固体状態であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の使用。
- 前記有機リン化合物が、2−カルボキシエチル(フェニル)ホスフィン酸、ホスホン酸又はそれらの塩などのホスフィン酸又はそれらの塩、亜リン酸トリフェニル又は亜リン酸トリメチルなどの亜リン酸エステル、レソルシノールビス(ジフェニルホスフェート)及びビスフェノールAビス(ジフェニルホスフェート)などの有機リン酸エステル、ホスホン酸ジメチルなどのホスホン酸エステル、メラミンポリホスフェート又はアンモニウムポリホスフェートなどのポリホスフェート、並びにトリフェニルホスフィンオキシド、トリ(3−ヒドロキシプロピル)ホスフィンオキシド及びビス(p−ヒドロキシフェニル)アルキルホスフィンオキシドなどのホスフィンオキシドよりなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の使用。
- 前記有機リン化合物がジメチルホスフィン酸、エチルメチルホスフィン酸、ジエチルホスフィン酸、メチル−n−プロピルホスフィン酸、及び/又はそれらの混合物よりなる群から選択されるホスフィン酸又はその塩であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 前記熱可塑性部品が1〜30重量%の有機リン化合物を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 前記熱可塑性部品がリン酸とメラミンとの反応生成物及び/又はリン酸とメラミン縮合誘導体との反応生成物である化合物も含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 前記熱可塑性部品が、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン及びポリブチレン、ポリイソブチレンなどのオレフィン樹脂、ポリスチレン及びアクリロニトリル・ブタジエン・スチレン共重合体などのスチレン樹脂、ポリアミド、ポリアセタール、ポリエチレンテレフタレート及びポリブチレンテレフタレートなどのポリエステル、ポリカーボネート、ポリエステルカーボネート、ポリスルホン樹脂、ポリフェニレンオキシド、ポリフェニレンエーテル、ポリフェニレンスルフィド、ポリ酢酸ビニル、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリ塩化ビニルなどのビニル重合体及びその共重合体、それらの誘導体及び/又はそれらの混合物よりなる群から選択される熱可塑性マトリックスを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 前記熱可塑性部品が、ポリアミドPA−6、ポリアミドPA−6,6、ポリアミドPA−11、ポリアミドPA−12、ポリメタキシリレンジアミン(MXD6)、並びにこれらのポリアミドを主成分とするブレンド及び共重合体よりなる群から選択されるポリアミドマトリックスを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 少なくとも金属部品と熱可塑性部品とをそれらが接触した状態又は近辺にある状態で備える物品であって、該熱可塑性部品が難燃剤として有機リン化合物を含む物品。
- 有機リン化合物を熱可塑性マトリックスに混合させる少なくとも一つの工程を含む、請求項10に記載の物品の製造方法。
- 電源コンセント、電路遮断器、特に家庭用電気器具用のプログラマ、盗難防止警報器、電気スイッチ、電気アダプタ、ケーブル、バッテリー及びバッテリーテスター、電話機及びコイルよりなる群から選択される、請求項10に記載の物品。
