Description
Claims (35)
- 対話型電子装置であって、
入力を受信することができる可撓性タッチ感知表面と、
前記可撓性タッチ感知表面に結合された可撓性画面と、
前記可撓性画面に結合され、前記入力に応じて触覚フィードバックを提供するように構成されるアクチュエータと、を備える、対話型電子装置。 - 前記アクチュエータに結合され、前記対話型電子装置に電力を提供するように構成される可撓性バッテリと、
前記可撓性バッテリに結合され、前記入力に応じて前記可撓性画面上で画像を表示するためにデータを処理できる可撓性チップと、をさらに備え、前記可撓性チップは、前記アクチュエータを作動させて前記触覚フィードバックを生成するために、前記入力に応じて触覚信号をさらに提供する、請求項1に記載の対話型電子装置。 - 前記可撓性画面は画像を表示するように構成される、請求項2に記載の対話型電子装置。
- 前記可撓性タッチ感知表面は、曲げることができる、または折り畳み可能なタッチ感知表面を含み、前記入力を受信することができる複数の可撓性領域をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の対話型電子装置。
- 前記複数の可撓性領域は、前記可撓性画面の曲げられた位置に応じて、前記複数の可撓性領域の第1の組を作動させることができる、請求項4に記載の対話型電子装置。
- 前記複数の可撓性領域は、前記可撓性画面の折り畳み位置に応じて、前記複数の可撓性領域の第2の組を作動させることができる、請求項4に記載の対話型電子装置。
- 前記可撓性画面は丸めることができる表示部、折り畳み可能な表示部、または曲げることができる電子ペーパーである、請求項3に記載の対話型電子装置。
- 前記アクチュエータは可撓性アクチュエータである、請求項1に記載の対話型電子装置。
- 前記可撓性アクチュエータは、圧電セラミック、形状記憶合金、または電気活性ポリマーのストリップである、請求項8に記載の対話型電子装置。
- 前記可撓性アクチュエータは、前記可撓性画面と前記可撓性タッチ感知表面との間に位置し、それによって、前記可撓性画面、前記可撓性タッチ感知表面および前記可撓性アクチュエータは、実質的に同程度に丸める、折り畳む、または曲げることができる、請求項8に記載の対話型電子装置。
- 入力および出力装置に触覚フィードバックを提供する方法であって、
可撓性タッチ感知表面の第1の表面上の複数の領域を監視するステップであって、前記可撓性タッチ感知表面の第2の表面は、可撓性表示部上に配置される、ステップと、
前記可撓性タッチ感知表面の前記複数の領域のうちの一領域上の接触を感知するステップと、
前記接触に応じて入力信号を生成し、前記入力信号を処理ユニットに送信するステップと、
前記入力信号に応じて触覚フィードバックを生成するステップと、を含む、方法。 - 前記入力信号に応じて触覚フィードバックを生成するステップは、
前記可撓性表示部が撓んでいる位置にある際、部分的な画像信号を生成するステップと、
前記入力信号と前記部分的な画像信号に応じて触覚信号を開始するステップと、
前記触覚信号をアクチュエータに提供するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記可撓性タッチ感知表面の第1の表面上の複数の領域を監視するステップは、
前記可撓性表示部が丸められた位置にある場合、前記可撓性表示部の有効な表示ウィンドウを特定するステップと、
前記有効な表示ウィンドウに応じて、有効なタッチ感知表面を設けるように、前記可撓性タッチ感知表面の一組の領域を作動させるステップと、をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記可撓性タッチ感知表面の第1の表面上の複数の領域を監視するステップは、
前記可撓性表示部が折り畳まれた位置にある場合、前記可撓性表示部の有効な表示ウィンドウを特定するステップと、
前記有効な表示ウィンドウに応じて、有効なタッチ感知表面を設けるように、前記可撓性タッチ感知表面の一組の領域を作動させるステップと、をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記可撓性表示部が撓んでいる位置にある際、部分的な画像信号を生成するステップは、前記可撓性表示部が曲げられた位置にあることを決定するステップをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性表示部が撓んでいる位置にある際、部分的な画像信号を生成するステップは、前記可撓性表示部が丸められた位置にあることを決定するステップをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性表示部が撓んでいる位置にある際、部分的な画像信号を生成するステップは、前記可撓性表示部が折り畳み位置にあることを決定するステップをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記触覚フィードバックを生成するステップは、触覚感覚を作るように形状記憶合金の少なくとも一つの繊維を動作状態にさせるステップをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記触覚フィードバックを生成するステップは、触覚感覚を作るように電気活性ポリマーの少なくとも一つの繊維を動作状態にさせるステップをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記触覚フィードバックを生成するステップは、触覚感覚を作るように圧電材料から作製された少なくとも一つのストリップを動作状態にさせるステップをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 可撓性画面を有する携帯装置であって、
入力を受信することができる可撓性タッチ感知表面と、
前記可撓性タッチ感知表面に結合され、前記入力に応じて画像を表示するように構成される可撓性画面と、
前記可撓性画面の第1の端部に結合される第1のハンドルと、前記可撓性画面の第2の端部に結合される第2のハンドルであって、前記第1のハンドルおよび前記第2のハンドルが閉鎖位置にある際、前記可撓性画面は丸められた位置にあり、前記第1のハンドルおよび前記第2のハンドルが開放位置にある際、前記可撓性画面は表示する位置にある、第1のハンドルおよび第2のハンドルと、
前記可撓性画面に結合され、前記入力に応じて触覚フィードバックを提供するように構成されるアクチュエータと、を備える、携帯装置。 - 前記可撓性タッチ感知表面は、前記第1のハンドル上に配置された前記可撓性タッチ感知表面の少なくとも一部をさらに含む、請求項21に記載の携帯装置。
- 前記可撓性タッチ感知表面は、前記第2のハンドル上に配置された前記可撓性タッチ感知表面の少なくとも一部をさらに含む、請求項22に記載の携帯装置。
- 前記可撓性タッチ感知表面は、前記可撓性画面上に配置された前記可撓性タッチ感知表面の少なくとも一部をさらに含む、請求項23に記載の携帯装置。
- 前記可撓性画面に結合される前記アクチュエータは、前記第1のハンドル内に位置する振動触知モータである、請求項21に記載の携帯装置。
- 前記可撓性画面に結合される前記アクチュエータは、前記第2のハンドル内に位置する振動触知モータである、請求項21に記載の携帯装置。
- 前記可撓性画面に結合される前記アクチュエータは、前記可撓性画面に固定される可撓性アクチュエータである、請求項21に記載の携帯装置。
- 入力および出力デバイスに力フィードバックを提供する装置であって、
可撓性タッチ感知表面の第1の表面上の複数の領域を監視するための手段であって、
前記可撓性タッチ感知表面は可撓性表示部上に配置される、手段と、
前記複数の領域のタッチされた領域上での入力を検出するための手段と、
前記タッチされた領域に関連する入力信号を生成し、前記入力信号を処理ユニットに送信するための手段と、
前記入力信号に応じて前記デバイス上に触覚フィードバックを生成するための手段と、を備える、装置。 - 前記入力信号に応じて前記デバイス上に触覚フィードバックを生成するための手段は、
前記可撓性表示部が撓んでいる位置にある際、部分的な画像信号を生成するための手段と、
前記入力信号と前記部分的な画像信号に応じて、触覚信号を開始するための手段と、
前記触覚信号をアクチュエータに提供する手段と、をさらに備える、請求項28に記載の装置。 - タッチ感知表面部と、画面部と、アクチュエータ部とを有する可撓性タッチ感知表示装置を備えるシステムであって、
前記タッチ感知表面部は、入力を受信することができ、
前記可撓性画面部は、前記タッチ感知表面部に隣接して配置され、且つ画像を表示するように構成され、
前記アクチュエータ部は、前記画面部に結合され、且つ前記入力に応じて触覚フィードバックを提供するように構成される、システム。 - 前記アクチュエータ部に結合され、前記システムに電力を提供するように構成される電源と、
前記電源に結合され、前記入力に応じて、前記画面部に画像を表示するためにデータを処理できる、チップと、をさらに備える、請求項30に記載のシステム。 - 前記チップは、前記アクチュエータ部を作動させて前記触覚フィードバックを生成するために、前記入力に応じて触覚信号をさらに提供する、請求項31に記載のシステム。
- 前記可撓性タッチ感知表示装置は、丸めることができる、または曲げることができる、または折り畳み可能である、請求項30に記載のシステム。
- 前記電源は可撓性バッテリである、請求項31に記載のシステム。
- 前記電源は、複数の太陽電池または光起電力電池であり、光エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換する、請求項31に記載のシステム。
