Description

The present invention relates to a paper staple driving machine, and more particularly, to a paper staple driving machine used when a U-shaped paper staple is driven and bound into a document.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as the staple driving machine, for example, a punching blade for punching a document with a square hole is known. The staple penetrating method by this driving machine is such that the punching blade with the square hole opened is penetrated from the front side to the back side of the document, and then the staple is inserted into the square hole of the punching blade. Therefore, a method is employed in which the staple is pulled out to the front side of the document (see Patent Document 1).
JP 10-000871 A

The staple penetrating method described in Patent Document 1 has the following disadvantages because the staple is pulled out in a state where the staple is inserted into a square hole of a punching blade. That is, since the square hole is opened in the punching blade itself, the strength of the punching blade itself is insufficient. Therefore, in order to increase the strength of the punching blade, it is sufficient to increase the thickness of the punching blade, but in this case, the punching hole formed in the document becomes large, and the binding portion around the punching hole is easily damaged. Has the disadvantages.

Further, in the above-described staple penetration method, since the punching blade must be pulled out after the punching blade is inserted into the document, two steps of the punching blade insertion and the pulling out are necessary, and the operability is lowered. Not suitable for manual machines.

Furthermore, when the staple is pulled out, the adhesive load of the staple comes into contact with the edge of the punch hole, so that the operation load (return spring load) when pulling out the staple is considerably increased. Further, since there is a dimensional difference between the staple width and the punching blade width, when the document is bound, the punching hole becomes large with respect to the staple, the appearance of the binding portion is deteriorated, and the backlash of the document is generated. was there.
Therefore, the technical load to be solved in order to reduce the above-mentioned operation load, eliminate backlash in the document, prevent fouling of the binding portion, improve the appearance, and can be easily applied to manual machines. A problem arises, and the present invention aims to solve the problem.

The present invention has been proposed in order to achieve the above object, and the invention according to claim 1 is a paper staple driving machine formed in a U-shape, wherein the driving machine is movable up and down. In addition, it is formed in a substantially inverted gate shape by a horizontal portion and through-hole forming punching blades projecting from both ends of the horizontal portion, and a paper staple leg is formed on the inner surface of the punching blade. A sandwiching spring plate is provided opposite to the clamping spring plate, and at the lower part of the sandwiching spring plate, a fixed portion fixed to the inner surface of the punching blade and an operating portion bent obliquely downward on the inside When the punching blade of the driving machine is driven from the lower surface of the document to form the through hole in the document, the upper part of the pinching spring plate is in close contact with the inner surface of the punching blade. A through-hole is opened in the document by the punching blade, and the horizontal portion of the driving machine is During movement to reach the hole, the operating portion of the pinch spring plate is pressed by the edge of the through hole and rotated toward the inner side of the punching blade, so that the upper portion of the pinch spring plate is moved inward. A predetermined gap is formed between the pinching spring plate and the inner surface of the punching blade, and a leg portion of a paper staple disposed opposite to the driving machine is inserted into the gap via the document. A paper staple driving machine configured as described above is provided.

According to this configuration, when paper staples are driven into a document, the punching blade is driven from the lower surface of the document to form a through-hole by raising the driving machine. Subsequently, when the pinching spring plate moves up the through hole, a pressing force acts on the operating portion of the pinching spring plate from the edge of the through hole. As a result, the upper portion of the pinching spring plate is separated from the punching blade to form a gap, and the leg portion of the paper staple is inserted into the gap.

After that, when the pinch spring plate descends the through hole due to the lowering of the driving machine, the pressing force acting on the operating part is removed, and the upper part of the pinch spring plate approaches the punching blade side by the elastic force. Thus, the leg portion of the paper staple is sandwiched between the punching blade and the sandwiching spring plate. Then, by further lowering operation of the driving machine, the paper staple is moved down in the through hole and driven into the document in a pull-out manner.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in a normal state in which the driving device returns to the original position after the paper staple leg is inserted into the gap, the upper portion of the pinching spring plate 2. The paper staple driving machine according to claim 1, wherein the operation unit provided in close contact with an inner surface and provided at a lower portion of the sandwiching spring plate is configured to return to a state inclined obliquely inward and downward. To do.

According to this configuration, after the leg portion of the paper staple is sandwiched between the punching blade and the sandwiching spring plate, when the driving machine is lowered to the original position, the sandwiching spring plate has a normal shape due to its own elastic restoring force. Return to. That is, the upper part of the sandwiching spring plate is brought into close contact with the inner surface of the punching blade, and the operating portion provided at the lower part of the sandwiching spring plate returns to a state where it is bent obliquely downward on the inner side.

Preferably, the surface of the sandwich spring plate is coated with a non-adhesive resin.

According to this configuration, the surface of the sandwiching spring plate has been subjected to non-tackifying coating processing with a fluororesin or the like, so that when the paper staple coated with an adhesive is driven, the sandwiching spring plate is adhered to the surface of the sandwiching spring plate. There is no risk that the agent will adhere and remain, and it can always be kept normal.

Preferably, the width dimension of the punching blade is substantially the same as the width dimension of the paper staple.

According to this configuration, since the width dimension of the punching blade is substantially the same as the width dimension of the paper staple, the through hole formed in the document and the crown portion of the paper staple after drawing in the staple are shaped and dimensioned. Are almost identical to each other. Therefore, almost no gap is generated between the through hole and the crown portion. For this reason, it is possible to reliably bind the document without rattling. In addition, the binding portion around the through hole is not easily damaged, and the appearance is improved.

Further, preferably, when the paper staple is clinched, the paper staple can be easily and reliably clinched by pressing the crown portion of the paper staple against the document with the pressing member. Furthermore, since the sandwiching spring plate is squeezed by the edge of the through hole and changes to a separated state, a driving mechanism for separating and opening the sandwiching spring plate is not required.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, since the punching blade does not have a square hole as in the prior art, the strength of the blade portion is increased. Therefore, it is not necessary to increase the plate thickness of the punching blade in order to increase the strength, and the through hole can be made smaller accordingly.

Further, when the paper staple is driven, only a single action is required because the pair of blade portions need only be moved linearly only in the pulling direction. Accordingly, the operation stroke at the time of staple driving becomes short, and a simple structure driving machine suitable for a manual machine can be obtained.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, after the staple driving, the upper part of the pinching spring plate is brought into close contact with the inner surface of the punching blade, and the operating part is automatically returned to the normal state inclined inward and downward. In addition to the effect of the present invention, the drive mechanism for returning the upper part of the sandwiching spring plate to the original closed state is not required, and the configuration is further simplified.

The present invention relates to a paper staple driving machine formed in a U-shape, wherein the driving machine is movable up and down and has a horizontal part and a through hole projecting from both ends of the horizontal part. And a pinching spring plate for sandwiching the leg portion of the paper staple on the inner surface of the punching blade. The pinching spring is further provided. A fixed portion fixed to the inner side surface of the punching blade and an operation portion bent obliquely inwardly are formed at the lower portion of the plate, and the punching blade of the driving machine is driven from the lower surface of the document. When the through hole is formed in the document, the through hole is opened in the document by the punching blade in a state where the upper part of the pinching spring plate is in close contact with the inner surface of the punching blade, and the horizontal portion of the driving machine is During the movement to reach the through hole, the operating part of the pinch spring plate is pushed by the edge of the through hole. Then, the upper part of the pinching spring plate is rotated inward by rotating to the inner surface side of the punching blade, and a predetermined gap is formed between the pinching spring plate and the inner surface of the punching blade. In addition, since the leg portion of the paper staple disposed in opposition to the driving machine is inserted into the gap via the document, the operation load is reduced and it can be easily applied to a manual machine. In addition, the object of preventing fouling of the binding portion around the through hole, improving the appearance, and preventing the backlash of the document has been achieved.

The paper staple driven by the driving machine of the present invention can be used either of a type having an adhesive part and a type having no adhesive part. In particular, when a paper staple having an adhesive portion is used, since the adhesive portion does not come into contact with the edge of the through-hole when the paper staple is driven, an operation load when the staple is driven out is reduced.

A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. In this embodiment, in relation to the staple driving operation, the driving means of each functional member to perform document penetration of the punching blade, insertion of the staple, pulling out, pressing, crimping, clinching, etc. at a predetermined timing, that is, An elevating drive mechanism, a moving drive mechanism, a rotation drive mechanism, and the like (not shown) are provided. As these drive systems, known drive systems such as cams, links, springs, electromagnets, and the like can be appropriately adopted. .

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a cradle on which a document P is placed and set. A hole 2 is formed in a predetermined position of the cradle 1 in the vertical direction. On the lower side of the cradle 1, a driving machine 4 having a pair of left and right punching blades 3 is provided so as to be able to move up and down in the hole 2, and the driving machine 4 is reciprocated in the vertical direction by a lifting drive mechanism.

As the driving machine 4 moves up, a through-hole is formed in the document P set on the cradle 1, and a U-shaped paper staple 5 positioned above the document P is sandwiched. By returning downward, the paper staple 5 is pulled out and driven into the document P.

The driving machine 4 has a mounting portion (horizontal portion) 6 in the horizontal direction, and punching blades 3 are protruded from the left and right end portions of the mounting portion 6 so as to face each other. The pair of punching blades 3 are provided vertically upward with respect to the mounting portion 6, and the driving machine 4 is formed in a substantially inverted gate shape by the pair of punching blades 3 and the mounting portion 6. The punching blade 3 includes a blade edge portion 7 at the upper end, and the shape of the blade edge portion 7 is formed in a substantially V shape.

As shown in FIG. 2, sandwiching spring plates 8 are respectively provided on the inner sides of the left and right punching blades 3, and the left and right sandwiching spring plates 8 are arranged so as to face each other and be in close contact with the inner surface of the punching blade 3. Has been. The width dimension of the sandwiching spring plate 8 is the same as or slightly narrower than the width dimension of the punching blade 31. Further, the plate thickness of the sandwiching spring plate 8 is set to such a thickness that the upper end portion of the sandwiching spring plate 8 is not caught on the document when the document is penetrated.

Further, the sandwiching spring plate 8 has a required spring property, and the upper substantially half part 9 is separated from or close to the punching blade 3 according to the action of the pressing force on the lower or upper part of the sandwiching spring plate 8 ( It is formed so that it can be changed to a separated state or a sealed state. Here, the open state or the sealed state of the pinch spring plate 8 is a state in which the upper half part 9 of the pinch spring plate 8 is opened apart from the inner side surface of the punching blade 3 or closes tightly (paper staples). 5 is included).

When the pinching spring plate 8 is in the open state shown in FIG. 3, the leg portions 15 and 16 of the paper staple 5 are inserted between the upper approximate half 9 and the punching blade 3, and then the upper approximately half 9 is inserted into the punching blade 3. When in a closed state moved closer to the side, the leg portions 15 and 16 are pressed and clamped by the spring force of the upper half portion 9.

In this embodiment, the surface of the sandwiching spring plate 8 is subjected to a non-adhesive coating process with a fluororesin or the like. For this reason, even if the adhesive 17 applied to the legs 16 of the paper staple 5 adheres to the pinching spring plate 8, there is no possibility that adhesive remains on the pinching spring plate 8. Further, the upper half portion 9 of the sandwiching spring plate 8 is formed in a rectangular flat shape, but two slits are formed in the lower half portion of the sandwiching spring plate 8 in the vertical direction. Between the two slits and on both sides, a flat fixing portion 10 and bent operation portions 11, 11 are provided, respectively, and the lower portion of the fixing portion 10 is fixed to the inner surface of the punching blade 3.

The vertical cross-sectional shape of the operating parts 11, 11 is formed so as to be bent in a square shape toward the inside of the driving machine 4, and when a pressing force is applied to the upper surface of the operating parts 11, 11, the operating parts 11, 11. Rotates downward about the bending line L and moves closer to the inner surface side of the punching blade 3. With this downward rotation, as shown in FIG. 3, the upper half portion 9 side of the sandwiching spring plate 8 is rotationally displaced so as to be separated from the inner surface of the punching blade 3, and the inner surface of the punching blade 3 A wedge-shaped gap is formed between the upper half portion 9 and the upper half portion 9.

A recess 12 is provided at the upper part of the left and right side surfaces of the mounting portion 6, and the recess 12 is formed at four locations corresponding to the operating portions 11, 11 on the left and right sides. The shape of the upper inner surface of each recess 12 is formed so as to have a curved surface with a substantially quarter-circular longitudinal section so as to allow the rotational displacement of the operating portions 11 and 11.

The positional relationship and the number of the fixing portions 10 and the operating portions 11 are not particularly limited, and may be formed so as to have opposite positional relationships as shown in FIG. In this case, the lower portion of the fixed portion 10 is fixed to the inner side surface of the punching blade 3 and the upper portion of the side surface corresponding to the operating portion 11 of the mounting portion 6 is allowed to allow rotational displacement of the operating portion 11. The recess 12 having a substantially quarter-circular shape in the longitudinal section is formed.

As shown in FIG. 2, a pressing member 13 for pressing the crown portion 14 of the paper staple 5 downward is disposed above the U-shaped paper staple 5, and the pressing member 13 is moved up and down by a lifting drive mechanism. Move back and forth in the direction. When the pressing member 13 is lowered, the crown portion 14 of the paper staple 5 driven into the document P is pressed against the upper surface of the receiving table 1 to prevent the paper staple 5 from being lifted from the document P.

The paper staple 5 has leg portions 15 and 16 that are vertically connected to both ends of the crown portion 14 and is formed in a U shape. Further, an adhesive 17 is applied to the inner side surface of the other side leg portion 16 of the paper staple 5, and the one side leg portion 15 and the other side leg portion 16 are sequentially folded and mutually polymerized, whereby both of them are adhesive ( Adhesive part) 17 is bonded by bonding.

The U-shaped paper staple 5 is sent to a predetermined position from a staple storage unit (not shown). In this embodiment, the pinching spring plate 8 and the punching blade 3 are used at a predetermined timing in association with the penetration movement of the driving machine 4. The leg portions 15 and 16 of the paper staple 5 disposed so as to face the driving machine are inserted into the gap between the inner side surfaces through the document. Thereafter, when the driving machine 4 is lowered, the pinching spring plate 8 moves closer to the punching blade 3 side, and the paper staple 5 is pressed and clamped by the spring force.

The crown width dimension W1 of the paper staple 5 is set to be substantially the same as the width dimension W2 of the punching blade 3 of the driving machine 4. Therefore, when the paper staple 5 is driven into the document P by the driving machine 4, the paper staple 5 has substantially the same width as the through hole 23 formed in the document P, so that there is no possibility of creating a gap therebetween. .

On the other hand, a clincher device 18 is provided below the cradle 1, and the leg portions 15 and 16 of the paper staple 5 are clinched by the clincher device 18. The clincher device 18 includes a pair of rollers (clincher members) 19 and 20, and each of the rollers 19 and 20 is independently driven to move in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the crown portion of the paper staple 5 by a movement driving mechanism (not shown). .

The rollers 19 and 20 are arranged in the vicinity of the outside of the pair of leg portions 15 and 16 of the paper staple 5 when the paper staple 5 is driven into the document P. Then, when the rollers 15 and 16 are moved inward of the paper staple 5, the suspended leg portions 15 and 16 are bent about 90 ° inward so as to be substantially parallel to the crown portion 14.

In addition, a crimping member 21 is disposed below the cradle 1, and the crimping member 21 is attached to the crown portion 14 so as to be rotatable up and down behind the width direction. Here, as shown in FIG. 5, the crimping member 21 is rotationally driven around the rotational shaft 22 in the horizontal direction by the rotational drive mechanism. The crimping member 21 is rotated upward after the leg portions 15 and 16 of the paper staple 5 are bent, and both the leg portions 15 and 16 are crimped and fixed. Note that the crimping member 21 is not limited to the pivoting method, and can be a lifting method. In this case, the crimping member 21 is moved so as not to interfere with the driving machine 4.

In the above configuration, a case where the paper staple 5 placed and set on the receiving tray 1 is driven into the document P and bound will be described with reference to FIGS. First, in a state before staple driving, the driving machine 4 stands by at a lower position corresponding to the hole 2 of the cradle 1 as shown in FIG. Now, when the driving machine 4 is driven to rise relative to the cradle 1 side, as shown in FIG. 7, the pair of punching blades 3 of the driving machine 4 punch the document P and open the through hole 23.

When the operating parts 11, 11 of the pinching spring plate 8 pass through the through hole 23 of the document P, the operating parts 11, 11 receive a downward squeezing force by the edge of the through hole 23. Therefore, the operating parts 11 and 11 rotate downward to approach the punching blade 3 side of the driving machine 4, and the operating parts 11 and 11 are substantially in contact with the inner surface of the punching blade 3.

At this time, as shown in FIG. 8, the upper approximately half part 9 of the pinching spring plate 8 is rotationally displaced so as to be separated from the inner surface of the punching blade 3, and between the punching blade 3 and the upper approximately half part 9. A wedge-shaped gap is formed. Thus, the leg portions 15 and 16 of the paper staple 5 disposed in opposition to the driving machine are inserted into the gap between the punching blade 3 and the upper approximate half portion 9 through the document.

Thereafter, the driving machine 4 moves down to return to the original position. When the upper half portion 9 of the sandwiching spring plate 8 passes through the through hole 23 of the document P, the pressing force acting on the operating portions 11 and 11 is removed, and the upper substantially half portion 9 is removed. The legs 15 and 16 of the paper staple 5 are pivoted upward to approach the inner surface of the blade 3 and are pressed and clamped to the inner surface of the punching blade 3 by the spring force of the upper half portion 9 (FIG. 9). reference).

Subsequently, as the driving machine 4 is further lowered, the driving machine 4 moves downward in the through hole 23 of the document P as shown in FIG. 9 while holding the legs 15 and 16 of the paper staple 5. To do. Accordingly, when the paper staple 5 is pulled downward, the leg portions 15 and 16 are displaced downward through the through hole 23 and driven into the lower surface side of the document P.

Next, when the crown portion 14 is pulled to a position where the crown portion 14 is in close contact with the document P, the paper staple 5 is completely penetrated, and the driving machine 4 is lowered to the original lower position. Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 10, the pressing member 13 is lowered to the paper staple 5 side, whereby the crown portion 14 of the paper staple 5 is held in a state of being pressed against the upper surface of the document P, and the paper staple 5 Is prevented from lifting.

Next, as shown in FIG. 11, the first roller 19 in the vicinity of the outside of the one leg 15 moves toward the one leg 15 so that the one leg 15 in the suspended state is approximately inward. It is bent by 90 ° and becomes substantially parallel to the crown portion 14. Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 12, the second roller 20 near the outside of the other leg 16 moves to the other leg 16 side. As a result, the other leg 16 in the suspended state is bent approximately 90 ° inward to be substantially parallel to the crown 14, and the adhesive portion 17 of the other leg 16 is placed on the lower surface of the one leg 15. Polymerize.

Thereafter, as shown in FIGS. 5C and 5D, the pressure-bonding member 21 rotates upward around the horizontal shaft 22 to push up the adhesive portion 17 of the other side leg portion 16, thereby Crimp to the bottom of the part 15. Thus, as shown in FIG. 13, the overlapping portion of the one side leg portion 15 and the other side leg portion 16 of the paper staple 5 is securely bonded and fixed. Thereafter, the rollers 19 and 20 and the pressure-bonding member 21 return to their original positions, whereby the clinching of the leg portions 15 and 16 of the paper staple 5 is completed.

When the crimping member 21 returns to the original position, the crimping member 21 returns to the outside of the raising / lowering path of the driving machine 4 as shown in FIGS. 5 (a) and 5 (b). When the machine moves up, the driving machine 4 can move along the lifting path without hindrance.

As described above, when the paper staple 5 is driven into the document P, the punching blade 3 is caused to penetrate the document P by raising the driving machine 4. At the time of the penetration, the pinching spring plate 8 is squeezed by the edge of the through hole 23 formed in the document P, so that the pinion blade 3 and the pinching spring plate 8 are separated from the inner surface of the punching blade 3. The paper staple 5 is inserted in between.

Thereafter, the driving machine 4 is lowered and returned to the original position. At the time of the return, the pinching spring plate 8 is squeezed at the edge of the through hole 23. Accordingly, the upper half portion 9 of the sandwiching spring plate 8 approaches the inner surface of the punching blade 3, and the paper staple 5 is sandwiched by the elastic force of the upper half portion 9. The staple 5 is driven into the document P in a pull-out manner.

According to the present embodiment, since the pair of punching blades 3 do not have square holes, the strength is increased as compared with the conventional case, and it is not necessary to increase the plate thickness of the punching blades 3 for increasing the strength, and the corresponding amount is penetrated. The hole 23 can be formed small. Further, when the paper staple 5 is driven, the driving machine 4 needs only one action in the pulling direction, and a simple structure suitable for a manual machine can be obtained.

Further, since the sandwiching spring plate 8 is separated and opened by receiving the squeezing force by the edge of the through hole 23 when the punching blade 3 is moved up and down, it is not necessary to provide a separate drive mechanism. In addition, since the surface of the sandwiching spring plate 8 is coated with a non-adhesive coating, there is no possibility that the adhesive 17 adheres to the surface of the sandwiching spring plate 8 when the staple is pulled out. Therefore, the surface of the sandwiching spring plate 8 is prevented from being soiled by the adhesive 17.

Further, since the width dimension W2 of the punching blade 3 is substantially the same as the width dimension W1 of the paper staple 5, the through hole 23 formed in the document P and the crown portion 14 of the paper staple 5 after the staple driving. The size is almost the same. Therefore, since there is almost no gap between the through hole 23 and the crown portion 14, the document P is not rattled and the vicinity of the binding portion is not easily damaged.

Further, after the paper staple 5 is driven, when the driving machine 4 is lowered to the original position, the pinching spring plate 8 is in a state before driving due to its own elastic restoring force, that is, the upper half of the pinching spring plate 8. 9 is in close contact with the inner surface of the punching blade 3, and the operating portions 11, 11 of the pinching spring plate 8 return to a state bent obliquely downward. Therefore, a drive mechanism for returning the sandwiching spring plate 8 to the original state is also unnecessary.

In the above embodiment, since the paper staple 5 is coated with an adhesive, the surface of the sandwich spring plate 8 is coated with a non-adhesive resin, but the paper staple 5 is not coated with the adhesive 17. When 5 is used, it is not necessary to coat the surface of the sandwiching spring plate 8 with a non-adhesive resin. Further, the clincher device 18 is not limited to the roller method, and other methods such as a cam method may be adopted.
