- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.微細構造体を有する膨張したポリテトラフルオロエチレン材料から成る速 続的な管状構造体において、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン管状材料の長手方向軸 線に対して実質的に平行な方向を有する小繊維により相互に接続された複数のノ ードを備え、該ノードが、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン材料の長手方向軸線に対 して実質的に垂直な長手方向軸線を有し、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン管状材料 が、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン管状材料の管腔を介して付与された正圧の作用 の下、半径方向に変形し且つ半径方向外方に変形し、これにより、微細構造体中 の複数のノードが該ノードの長手方向軸線に沿って延伸する一方、半径方向に変 形したポリテトラフルオロエチレン管状材料の部分の微細構造体の全体に亙って 実質的に平均的なノード間距離を保持することを特徴とする、連続的な管状構造 体。 2.請求項1に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、膨張したポリテトラフル オロエチレンが、構造的一体性を失うことなく、その最初の直径の約50%乃至70 0%の範囲にて半径方向に変形可能である、連続的な管状構造体。 3.請求項2に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、膨張したポリテトラフル オロエチレンが、約6大気圧以下の正圧を付与したとき、その最初の直径の少な くとも50%まで半径方向に変形可能である、連続的な管状構造体。 4.請求項3に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、膨張したポリテトラフル オロエチレンが、入口水圧力が変形しないときの移植体の入口水圧力の±60%の 範囲に止まる状態にてその最初の直径の50%乃至700%の範囲にて半径方向に変 形可能である、連続的な管状構造体。 5.請求項3に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、膨張したポリテトラフル オロエチレンが、その最初の直径の50%乃至700%の範囲に亙り半径方向に変形 可能であり、移植体の肉厚がその同心性を保ち且つ全体的な引き裂き又は破断を 含まない、連続的な管状構造体。 6.請求項3に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、膨張したポリテトラフル オロエチレンが、その最初の直径の50%乃至700%の範囲に亙り半径方向に変形 可能であり、長手方向への引張り強度が、膨張していないときの移植体の値の± 1 00%の範囲に止まる、連続的な管状構造体。 7.請求項3に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、膨張したポリテトラフル オロエチレンが、その最初の直径の50%乃至700%の範囲に亙り半径方向に変形 可能であり、半径方向への引張り強度が、膨張していないときの移植体の値の± 40%の範囲に止まる、連続的な管状構造体。 8.請求項3に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、膨張したポリテトラフル オロエチレンが、その最初の直径の50%乃至700%の範囲に亙り半径方向に変形 可能であり、半径方向に変形したときの移植体の平均ノードの延伸が、膨張しな いときの移植体の平均ノードの長さの約300%以下である、連続的な管状構造体 。 9.請求項3に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、管状構造体の管腔内に同 心状に配置された半径方向に膨張可能なステント部材を更に備える、連続的な換 状構造体。 10.請求項9に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、半径方向に膨張可能なス テント部材が、バルーン膨張可能なステント部材、自己膨張型ステント部材及び 形状記憶ステント部材の群から選択される、連続的な管状構造体。 11.請求項10に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、ステント部材の管腔に 対して同心状に配置され且つステント部材及び連続的な管状構造体と緊密に接触 するポリテトラフルオロエチレンから成る第二の連続的な管状構造体を更に備え る、連続的な管状構造体。 12.請求項1に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、連続的な管状構造体の管 腔から隔たった外面及び管腔面の少なくとも1つの周りで同心状に配置された半 径方向に膨張可能なステント部材を更に備える、連続的な管状構造体。 13.請求項12に記載の連続的な管状構造体において、半径方向に膨張可能な ステント部材が、バルーン膨張可能なステント部材、自己膨張型ステント部材及 び形状記憶ステント部材の群から選択される、連続的な管状構造体。 14.材料の微細構造体から成る、管状の膨張したポリテトラフルオロエチレン 部材において、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン材料の長手方向軸線に対して実質的 に平行な方向を有する小繊維により相互に接続された複数のノードを備え、該ノ ードが、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン材料の長手方向軸線に対して実質的に垂直 な長手方向軸線を有し、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン管状部材が、ポリテトラフ ルオロエチレン管状材料の管腔を通じて付与され且つ半径方向外方に向けられた 約6大気圧以下又はこれに等しい正圧の作用の下、半径方向に変形可能であり、 この正圧は、ノードの少なくとも一部をその長手方向軸線に沿って延伸させる一 方、半径方向に変形して膨張しないポリテトラフルオロエチレン管状材料と実質 的に同程度に半径方向に変形したポリテトラフルオロエチレン管状材料の部分の 微細構造体の全体に亙って、平均的なノード間距離を実質的に保つ働きをするこ とを特徴とする、管状の膨張したポリテトラフルオロエチレン部材。
