た係止部材と本体側の被係合部との係止構造もカバーの
脱落を防止できるものであれば、他の係止構造を使用し
てもよい。さらに、各実施形態の特徴部を取捨選択し適
宜組み合わせて、上記説明したカバー形状以外のカバー
構成に適用できることも当然である。たとえば、従来構
造のカバーに脱落防止用の係止部材のみを設けたカバー
構造とすることも可能である。また、本発明はその精神
または主要な特徴から逸脱することなく、他のいかなる
形でも実施できる。そのため、前述の実施形態はあらゆ
る点で単なる例示にすぎず限定的に解釈してはならな
い。

し込んでゆき、そのまま、引っ張るだけで簡単にカバー
を取り外すことができる。この結果、工具をこじること
がなくなり本体やカバーに傷を付けることがなくなり、
タッチアップ等も不要となる、更に、カバ−と一体に、
それ自身の先端に係止片を備えた小径の係止部材を設
け、この係止部材を本体側に設けた被係止部に係止する
ことによりカバー取り外し中もカバ−を本体から分離す
ることを防ぐことが可能となり、カバ−の紛失を防ぐこ
とが出来る。また、カバ−外周端面にカバ−背面側より
前面側が小となるような匂配を設けたことにより、本体
とカバ−を結合した状態で塗装を行ったとしても、本体
とカバ−の間の境界部の塗料のまわりが良好になり、塗
装作業時に特別な施策を施すこと無く塗料が乗らないま
たはたまることが防止できる、等の優れた効果を上げる
ことができる。

て形成され、かつ、前記フランジと係合する係合部には
ヘラ状部材が係合可能な引っ掛かり部を有する脚部によ
って構成されていることを特徴とする自動車用外装部品
の開口部カバー構造。
