Abstract

A cement composition includes in per cent. by weight relative to the cement, 0,01 to 0,1 of a gluconic compound; 0,05 to 0,35 of a salicylic compound; and 0,05 to 4,0 of a water soluble chloride accelerator. The additives may be included during grinding of the cement, mixed with the dry cement, or added to the mix as a solution, paste or dry powder.
