Abstract
Niobium-base alloys for high temperature uses, e.g. as gas turbine parts, in high temperature reactors, oil refinery equipment and dies for high temperature working of metals have compositions within the following range in per cent by weight. Nb 50.0 or more; Ti 1.0-30.00 and one or more of the following in total amount 1.0-20.0 Al up to 10.0; Be up to 5.0; C up to 2.0 Co up to 5.0; Fe up to 10.0; Mn up to 10.0; Mo up to 20.0; Ni up to 5.0; Si up to 2.0; Ta up to 20.0; W up to 5.0; V up to 10.0; Zr up to 20.0.
