Abstract

Alloys suitable for the production of parts to be subjected to stress at high temperatures have compositions, in per cent by weight, in the following range: .Cr.5.0 to less than 13.0 .Al.over 2.0 and up to 10.0 .C.over 0.15 and up to 0.5 .Mn.0.1-1.0 .Si.0.1-1.0 .Co.10.0-35.0 either or both of W and B in the ranges: .W.2.0-15.0 .B.0.001-0.5 .Mo.1.0-10.0 .Ti.1.0-3.0 .Fe.less than 5.0 .Ni.at least 50.0 and .impurities the balance.. There may be also included one or more of Mg, Ca and Ce up to 3.0 and one or more of Nb, Ta and V in the range 3.0-12.0.
