Abstract

750,075. Hot closets. EMALJEVERKET AKTIESELSKAP. Sept. 20, 1954 [Sept. 26, 1953], No. 27172/54. Class 34(1). A clothes drying cabinet 1 has a motor driven fan 10, to circulate heated air within the cabinet, combined with a rotating condenser plate 14 one side of which is swept by cool atmospheric air and the other by the circulating heated air. The motor shaft carries a sleeve 8 having upper openings 13 and a lower open end controlled by a valve 22, a partition 15 forming with the top 17 of the cabinet a return passage 16 for air driven by the fan through the sleeve 8 into contact with the plate 14. The air is heated by elements 21 and condensate escapes via a gutter 18 connected to discharge pipe 19 via a trap 20. In a modification, Fig. 2, the plate 14 is provided with fan blades 26 and ribs 25 to increase the cooling.
