Divided out of 424,995. [Class 47 (ii)] [See also Group II] In the production of air foam by breaking up jets of liquid and mixing them with air in a mixing chamber, foam-forming agent is mixed with water passing through a pressure pump by arranging a jet pump 4 in a pipe 3 which is led from the pressure side 1 of the pump to the suction side 6. The jet pump is connected to a container 5 for the foamforming agent.
