Abstract

398,106. Holders for rolls of paper. NEDBERG, S., 6, Hanna Winsnes Gate, Drammen, Norway. March 2, 1933, No. 6342. [Class 18.] In a holder for a roll of paper of the kind in which the roll spindle 9 rests on surfaces inclined to a wall 1 against which the roll is pressed by its own weight, the holder comprises a U- shaped member whose legs 4 are secured to a supporting surface and are provided with slots for the spindle 9, and the wall 1 is constituted by the cross-piece of the holder and also provides a cutting edge for the paper. The free ends of the legs 4 are provided with flanges by means of which the holder can be screwed to the supporting surface with the wall 1 in an inclined position ; and the holder may be so mounted that the axis of the roll is inclined to the horizontal. Either the upper or lower edge of the wall 1 serves as a cutter. The legs 4 and wall 1 are made from one piece of strip metal or as separate units secured together.
