Abstract

450,319. Holders for rolls of wrapping- paper &c. NICHOLSON, W. F., Websters Nurseries, Market Avenue, Chichester. Jan. 21, 1935, No. 1964. [Class 31 (i)] [See also Group XVII] A roll 1 of paper is supported in open bearings 4 on a frame 2 and has a knife 7 resting by gravity on its upper surface. The knife is of inverted V-section and is guided by notches 8 therein co-operating with ribs 9. Both limbs of the knife may be toothed or sharpened, or one may carry a roller 11 to rest on the roll 1. Several frames 2 of decreasing width may be built up one above the other or a single unbridged frame may be used.
