398,019. Shaft tops. BARKER, W. H., 72, Coniston Road, Bromley, Kent. Aug. 9, 1932, No. 22250. [Class 25.] An extractor ventilator or shaft top comprises staggered and overlapping circular bands C, Figs. 1 and 2, vertical baffle plates E, and corner plates D arranged around the bands and a cap G spaced from the top of the ventilator with a baffle band surrounding the outlet opening. The lower edges of the inner circular bands are preferably provided with lips l.In a modification, Fig. 3, an additional air outlet is provided by forming the ventilator with an additional baseplate A<1> spaced from the usual baseplate A, the space being surrounded by a baffle K.
