Abstract

449,208. Ventilators. CRAIG, W., Marypark, Langbank, Renfrewshire, and CRAIG, J., Barscube, Paisley Road, Barrhead, Glasgow. June 13, 1935, No. 17030. [Class 137] The air inlet B to a building is provided with a casing A having a rib or baffle C which is extended on each side as a curve D and E each forming one wall of ducts F and G which are at right angles to the inlet passage B, so that entering air is delivered along the wall. The ventilator may be made in one casting, or it may be formed of sheet metal walls on three sides, the fourth side of the air channel being formed by the wall to which the ventilator is fixed. The ventilator may be used in conjunction with the ventilating device described in Specification 449,200.
