Abstract
243,769. Logan, W. A. June 5, 1924. Walls.-Metal buildings of the kind comprising grooved metal uprights in which metal plates may be engaged to form walls have the metal uprights g formed integrally with or secured to screw pile portions i by which they are fixed in the soil. Uprights not supported by piles may be supported by metal brackets, Fig. 2. Grooved metal cross beams are secured to the uprights to receive floor or ceiling plates. The walls may be solid or hollow, and wires and water and heating pipes may be arranged in the hollows formed by the plates a, Fig. 9. Some of the uprights may be inclined inwards at their top ends so that they meet at the apex k to, form supports for a roof, Fig. 8.
