Water-tube boilers; steam and water drums.- In a water-tube boiler of the kind in which upper and lower drums a, b are formed with projections c, d for receiving vertical groups of water-tubes e, the tube-plates c<1>, d<1> are formed with stepped corrugations rising towards the centres of the plates. The corrugations may be formed to receive either rows or concentric rings of tubes.
