Abstract

1416345 Condensing drycleaner solvent M R BURGER 16 Feb 1973 [22 Feb 1972] 8170/ 72 Heading B1B In a method of operating a drycleaner, solvent vapour and air from dry cleaner drum 30 are passed via filter 40 to a pump/compressor 48, and cooler 50 where at least a substantial proportion of the vapour condenses, and the mixture thus formed is passed through restrictor 52 to liquid/vapour separator 54, liquid solvent then passing to tank 32 for reuse, and vapour/air mixture being returned to drum 30 via 60 and heater 44. Some of the vapour and air from filter 40 may be recycled directly via fan 42 and heater 44.
