Abstract
1,037,313. Reciprocating generators. FORCE CONTROLS CO. March 5, 1963 [March 5, 1962], No. 8652/63. Heading H2A. A transducer 10, Fig. 2, comprising a pair of coils 18, Fig. 5 (not shown), on polepieces 16 in contact with the pole faces of a permanent magnet 20, produces a pulse each time an armature 48 reaches, as a consequence of force or motion applied to push button 12, a position whereat the attractive force of magnet 20 overcomes the control springs or vice versa, the armature being thrust away on removal of a force from the button by the thrust of a spring 66 and the pull of a spring 62. The arrangement which may be mounted in an aperture in a plate 92 is provided with a micrometer adjusting sleeve 86 whereby the whole sleeve 14 may be positioned relative to the front face of the plate. A transistor trigger circuit for controlling a solenoid operated valve, or an ignition circuit, is described with reference to Fig. 7 (not shown, and an alternative construction including three springs and in which the position of the element 10 is adjustable by a screw thread on its exterior is described with reference to Fig. 6 (not shown).
