Abstract

1,086,916. Seed sowers. G. GUGENHAN, [trading as H. F€HSE & CO]. Dec. 1, 1964 [Dec. 30, 1963], No. 48735/64. Heading A1D. A seed sower includes a contact pressure roller 1, for pressing sown seeds into the base of a furrow, mounted on a frame 5 for movement in a vertical plane about a shaft 7, the roller being axially displaceable on its supporting shaft 6 for lateral adjustment relative to the frame. In a second embodiment the frame is mounted at its forward end on a vertical pivot for movement in a horizontal plane which pivot is itself mounted on a horizontal shaft for movement in a vertical plane.
