Abstract

L'invention décrit un procédé à basse température relative pour produire des sels métalliques d'acides organiques. On soumet un mélange réactionnel, contenant un oxyde, hydroxyde ou carbonate de métal, un acide organique dont le point de fusion est supérieur à 20 degrés C et une faible quantité d'eau, à une agitation vigoureuse dans un appareil ayant une action d'usure par frottement et de cisaillement, à une température inférieure au point de fusion de l'acide organique et inférieure au point de fusion du sel de métal que l'on produit, jusqu'à réaction quasi-complète de l'acide organique. Le procédé donne rapidement et efficacement des savons en poudres finement divisées de couleur claire, répondant aux spécifications industrielles.
