Abstract

The unit has a first chamber connected to the control and a second to the actuator. The chambers communicate via a passage controlled by a regulator valve with a guide stem forming a tight sliding fit and spring-loaded in a bore connected to the second chamber. In this bore there also slides a plunger forming an abutment for the spring. They are also connected by a second passage controlled by an isolating valve. The plunger is in turn subject to the action of a spring which can be accommodated in a chamber supplied with fluid such as air which provides a spring effect.
