Definitions
- the invention relates to an electrical connector with a housing and a Spring-loaded clamping connection for connecting a flexible electrical conductor the tail of a stiff holder.
- the invention further relates to a corresponding Holder, a corresponding system of an electrical connector and a holder and a method for making a connection between an electrical Plug and a holder.
- connection terminals with a housing and a spring-loaded terminal connection for connecting a flexible electrical conductor to busbars known, wherein the spring-force clamping connection of one of a resilient Flat material manufactured clamping spring consists.
- Connecting terminals have a plant leg and a clamping leg, wherein the clamping leg in the manner of a loop on the end of the plant leg is bent and has a clamping opening on which the end of the plant leg extends through.
- Such connection terminals are for Connecting a flexible conductor to an already with the spring-force terminal connection connected busbar, wherein the flexible conductor only after the connection with the rigid busbar is made in the spring-force clamp connection is introduced.
- the invention has for its object to provide an electrical connection between a flexible electrical conductor and a rigid holder by means of a plug create, with the plug first with the electrical conductor and then with the rigid holder is connected.
- a connection is for example for the connection of a ground cable to a ground holder of the chassis of a motor vehicle needed.
- the task was further that the assembly of the with the electrical conductor provided plug on the holder quickly and without tools done and a secure snap-click assembly is possible. Of Furthermore, the lowest possible contact resistance should be achieved.
- an electrical connector with a housing in which a spring-force clamping connection to the Connecting a flexible electrical conductor to the end of a stiff holder is used, wherein the spring force clamp connection of one of a resilient sheet manufactured clamping spring consists of a plant leg and a clamping leg having the clamping leg in the manner of a loop on the end the plant leg is bent and has a clamping opening through which extending the end of the plant leg, wherein a clamping leg opposite clamping edge of the clamping opening with the plant leg a Forming terminal in which the guided through the clamping opening through electrical Conductor is clamped before plugging the plug on the holder, wherein after attaching the plug on the holder, the holder between the plant leg and the electrical conductor extends through the clamping opening and the holder and the clamping spring are supported against each other in such a way that the electrical Conductor is clamped between the clamping edge and the holder and thus a electrical connection between the holder and electrical conductor is formed.
- the object is further according to the invention by a holder and a system a corresponding electrical connector and a corresponding holder solved, wherein the rigid holder is in the form of a pin and of a band material is made with a substantially rectangular cross-section. It is a holder on the holder Offset (21) arranged, the apex in the direction of clamping edge of the clamping leg points in order to avoid a reversed mounting of the plug on the holder.
- the task-solving method for establishing a connection between the corresponding electrical connector and the holder includes that after the electric Conductor is clamped between clamping edge and plant leg, the Plug is placed on the holder such that the holder between the Plant legs and the electrical conductor through the terminal opening therethrough extends and the holder and the clamping spring are supported against each other such that the electrical conductor is clamped between the clamping edge and the holder and thus formed an electrical connection between the holder and the electrical conductor becomes.
- the in Direction clamping edge of the clamping opening is directed and arranged at the nip is. Due to the small bearing surfaces of the plant leg at the nip is thus a secure connection between the electrical conductor and the Holder given.
- the clamping point opposite end of the resilient Turn sheet such in the direction of the holder, that it after attaching the Plug engages latching on the holder in a recess of the holder. hereby Also, the security of the connection is improved because then when the holder completely pushed into the plug, the engagement of the bent end the resilient sheet material in the recess of the holder takes place. Pulling out the holder from the plug is thus not readily possible.
- the advantage is the springy flat material with an opening for releasing the plug provided when passing through an auxiliary means, for example a pin, through this opening, the terminal of the opposite end of the resilient Flat material is bent, so that the bent end of the resilient sheet no longer engages in the recess of the holder and the plug from Holder can be deducted. It is also advantageous that the clamping point opposite end to be provided with wing elements, the positioning of the Halters serve with respect to the clamping spring.
- the electrical connector has the Further advantageous plug-in elements, which are arranged on the resilient sheet are and set the clamping spring in a recess of the housing.
- the holder To engage the bent end of the spring element in the holder is on the holder in advantageously provided a recess. It is particularly advantageous if this recess in the manner of an opening penetrates the holder, so that through them through an aid can be plugged, which is opposite to the nip Bends the end of the resilient sheet such outward that the bent end disengages from the opening and the holder is pulled out of the plug can.
- FIG. 1a shows a longitudinal section through a plug 1 according to the invention.
- the plug 1 has a housing 2 in which one made of a resilient sheet material Clamping spring 3 is arranged.
- the clamping spring 3 forms a spring-force clamping connection for connecting a flexible electrical conductor 10 to the tail a rigid holder, not shown in this figure.
