However, since it comes to much smaller contact surfaces and tensile stresses in the engagement area, and moreover, the production of the groove in the edge of the disc is expensive, this variant is only in special cases, for example, when complete optical withdrawal of the holder is required advantageous. Relatively often, the situation will arise in which larger disks are supported multiple times in their lower area along the edge. Abstract

The invention concerns a fixing element for plate-shaped cladding panels, in particular glass panes in the form of single glazing such as spaced apart panes for insulating double glazing. The glass panes (11) are placed at some distance from each other and are juxtaposed by means of a peripheral joint. The edges (13) of the glass panes (11) have in particular a bevel, groove or slide with which the fixing element (1) co-operates. The invention is characterized in that the fixing element (1) has a central element (2) and at least two pane-fixing elements (3) which are respectively in contact with the edge (13) of the glass pane (11) associated with the fixing element and at least one pane-fixing element (3) is mobile independently of the other relative to the central element (2) and can be fixed at each point of the displacement path. The invention also concerns designs corresponding to different possibilities for displacing, rotating and mounting the pane-fixing element.

Description

The invention relates to a holder for plate-shaped facade elements according to the introductory part of claim 1.

Such a holding system is from the DE 197 55 697 A known. This holding plate with hook-shaped cross-section with pointed projections in the end faces of the facade elements to be mounted (de facto the insulating compound of laminated glass) pressed and thus hold the facade elements. The plates in turn are moved by screws in the holding direction or elastically deformed.

Both the connection between the facade element and platelets and the fixing of the platelets by the screws is not sufficient for the forces acting on facade elements, which is probably the reason that no such retaining system is known on the market. Another serious drawback is the fact that all parts of the system are interconnected only positively, which on the one hand guarantees a certain elasticity, but on the other hand makes the fatigue hazard inevitable in the long life desired.

Another holding system, described for glass panes, is from the DE 299 17 489.1 U In this case, the interaction of the holder and disc essentially based on the fact that the holder has a head which is rotatable about an axis substantially normal to the disc plane and has a shape which deviates from the circular shape, so that it depends on the angular position of the Head cooperates with the profiled edge of the disc and so holds the disc or releases it, so that the disc can be mounted, removed or replaced.

Nachteilig ist aber die nahezu punktförmige Aufbringung der Haltekräfte auf die Scheiben und die Probleme beim Justieren der Position benachbarter Scheiben, da ja der Halter immer zwei Scheiben gleichzeitig hält und justiert, was eine genaue Positionierung der Halter notendig machtThis mounting system is compared to other systems in which the discs must be perforated, cheaper and more advantageous in terms of thermal or acoustic insulation and the tightness of insulating glass. The disadvantage, however, is the almost punctiform application of holding forces on the discs and the problems of adjusting the position of adjacent discs, since the holder always holds and adjusts two discs simultaneously, which makes precise positioning of the holders necessary

Another prior art can be considered:

In the DE 195 42 040 A1 a glass sheet is described which has on its front side a groove or recess which serves to arrange juxtaposed glass sheets sealingly with each other and at the same time to ensure a determination of the glass panes on a substructure. The grooves or recesses are formed by milling, grinding or sawing in their dimensions so that the groove is made with a depth of at least one third of the thickness of the glass. In addition to an edged design, a rounded trained groove can be made. In the groove during assembly a seal, guide or bracket over the entire length and width of the disc inserted. In this case, rubber seals, brush seals, silicone seals or the like can be used as sealing material.

A kit for a glass facade reveals the EP 0 410 993 B1 , The façade outer surface is formed by glass panes which each have adhered retaining rails at their vertical inner edges. These support rails are positively connected to support profiles. The glass sheets are chamfered at their edges outwardly to close the joint thus formed by positive anchoring body. In this system, the support profiles are mounted glued in both the vertical and in the horizontal direction behind the glass panes. Replacing individual glass panes is not possible.

The mechanical attachment of a glass sheet, which is kept punctiform, reveals the EP 0 655 543 B1 , In single glazing bores are introduced within the glass panes, which is fixed by a retaining element to be used from the outside, which has a conical collar, against a flat retaining element to be pulled against from the inside. The same procedure is used for the insulating glass panes, which also have holes in the glass panes.

Glass panes, which are provided at their front sides of the edges with grooves, and are composed to flat facades or corners and edges are the US 3,672,107 A refer to. To hold the glass sheets rigid profiles are used, which engage in the grooves. The profile formations that cover the grooves are permanently backed with a permanently elastic material. Since this is a structure with rigid elements, the replacement of individual glass panes is not possible, moreover, it can cause damage to the glass panes for larger surfaces due to thermal stresses or wind loads occurring.

A plate construction for the design of a facade, the EP 0 319 695 A1 be removed. The glass panes, here in particular insulating glass panes, are held by a support structure which does not appear and which is positively and non-positively connected to the panes by gluing. In addition, a fall protection is provided, which is formed by an additional profile. This profile can intervene on the one hand in grooves, cutouts or bevels of the glass panes.

In the same way reveals the EP 0 280 832 A1 a construction for facades or roofs, in which the glass panes are also achieved by gluing with profiles behind the glass panes and thus the holder. Again, in case of failure of the adhesive joint, a fall protection is present, which is designed so that, as in the EP 0 319 695 A1 the glass panes have at their edge region grooves, in which a crash profile is used.

The execution of an outer wall or a roof glazing in insulating glass are the DE 3 439 436 A1 again, in which the insulating glass panes are held by holders which are arranged between the panes. In this case, an additional profile is inserted between the insulating glass, in which the head of a holder, which includes flanges, is used. The holder is designed so that it has a neck which can be brought by a rotational movement with a profile located behind the glass sheets in engagement. The edges of the insulating glass panes are made smooth, and the gap between the insulating glass panes is closed by a permanently elastic compound.

In glass facades point holders for the glass plates used are known, which pass through the glass plate at a distance from the edge of the plate and are connected to a front or back support structure. For such a method of attachment, the glass plate must be drilled. This is already disadvantageous in the case of single glazed panes due to the increased risk of breakage; in the case of insulating glass panes, the result of the boreholes is a considerable impairment of the technically possible very good thermal insulation in the case of impermeability.

It is also known for the reasons mentioned glass facades, in which the plates are bordered by rails and held by means of these rails. For example, from the DE 3 734 576 A1 known that the edges get glued angular support strips. In this case, the support strips on the inside coupling webs for engaging clamping clamp. This plate holder by means of glued-on support rails without positive securing of the glass panes brings with it a risk potential, since the long-term behavior of bonds under the given environmental conditions is often unknown. As a result, such glass facades are generally not officially approved without positive, mechanical security.

The invention aims to provide an attachment for disc-shaped wall elements of the type mentioned, in particular for simple glass and especially for insulating glass, which does not have the disadvantages mentioned, but allows reliable, long-lasting positioning and fixation of the discs in a simple manner. In one embodiment, it should also be possible not adjacent to each other, not aligned with each other, but to position and hold at an angle to each other, which is particularly required by architects again and again today is feasible only with great effort.

According to the invention, these objects are achieved by the measures indicated in the characterizing part of claim 1. Subclaims define advantageous embodiments.

In this way it is achieved that the disc holder with the disc can have a contact surface which is significantly larger than in the prior art and it is further achieved that each disc is fastened reliably for itself, as assigned to each holder for each of the two Slices a separate, large-area disc holder is present, which works independently of others and can be determined. Moreover, this can be compensated by the inevitable in the manufacture of the disc tolerances.

Finally, this is also the prerequisite for the fact that in one embodiment of the invention, the mounting of mutually aligned discs is not possible, it consists in this case according to the invention the central part of a wall-fixed part in which two intermediate parts are arranged rotatable about a common axis and fixable, wherein the disk holders are displaceable along these wedge surfaces with respect to these intermediate parts.

In Fig. 1, a first embodiment of the invention is shown purely schematically. A to a support structure (masonry, support od. The like.) Matching fixed holder 1 carries a central part 2 on which an upper and a lower disc holder 3 along a sloping surface 4 are slidably mounted. In order to achieve an adjustability, mating surfaces 5 of the inclined surfaces 4 are not fixedly mounted on the central part 2, but provided on inserts 6, which can be moved individually and independently of each other in recesses 7 of the central part 2 by means of screws 8, whereby the disc holder 3 from Central part 2 pushed away or brought closer to him. This catching get O-rings or coil springs 9, which run over suitable extensions 10 of the disc holder 3. To the minimum changes in the thermal expansion od.dergl. To compensate and to protect the edges of the discs 11, elastic inserts 12 are inserted between the disc-side surfaces of the disc holder 3 and the edges 13 of the discs 11.

If, for example, the lower of the two illustrated discs 11 is to be mounted, then the adjusting screw 8 of the associated lower disc holder 3 is originally unscrewed so far that the insert 6 occupies its innermost (as seen from the building) position and by the O-rings 9 of the lower Disk holder 3 is pulled into its uppermost position, in which it rests on the central part or at least the central part 2 closely adjacent position occupies. In this position, its vertical extent is so small that it is possible to bring the disc 11 in its place, for example by means of a suitable crane or the like. and usually with suction cups od.ähnl. Mounting aid for glass panes or stone slabs or the like .. The disc 11 is adjusted in the desired position, in a known manner, for example by means of blocks or the like. and then the associated adjusting screw 8 is tightened, the insert 6 is pressed by means of the mating surface 5 against the inclined surface 4 of the lower disc holder 3 and thus presses the disc holder 3 down until it abuts the edge 13 of the disc 11 and this fixed and holds with the predetermined force.

It is immediately apparent that the upper disc holder 3 remains motionless throughout the process and is activated completely independently of the lower disc holder 3 in succession after attachment of the upper disc 11 and pressed against the edge of this disc.

The Fig. 1, rotated by 90 °, gives an image of the situation when holding two discs in the region of a vertical joint. It can be seen immediately that the disc holder according to the invention can be used for joints in any direction.

Fig. 2 illustrates the situation in the area of the collision of four disks, it can be seen that each individual disk can be released from its holders and then removed without this affecting the adjacent disks in any way. Although in the prior art by the rotation of the mushroom-shaped head of the holder releasing a disc was possible, but it was also affected by the respective adjacent disc in their position, support, fixation and adjustment, since indeed the mushroom-shaped head along the Edge of this adjacent disc moved.

Fig. 3 illustrates a variant of the invention in which the wedge surface is not moved substantially normal to the disc plane, but parallel to the edge 13 of the associated disc 11. There are also in the description and drawings of this embodiment, the reference numerals of the first embodiment so far they concern analog parts, have been adopted to facilitate understanding.

In this embodiment, the holder 1 carries a central part 2 which runs parallel to its associated edges 13 of the discs 11 which it holds. In the central part inserts 6, the mating surfaces 5 carry and their fall lines in or parallel to the disk plane, arranged slidably. If now the inserts 6 is moved by rotating the associated adjusting screw 8 in the direction of the edge 13, the disk holder 3 will thereby perform normal movement to the edge 13, the allowing them to hold or release the discs 11.

In Fig. 3, for example, the left disc holder has been brought by means of a screw 8 in an approximately central position in which it positions and holds the lower edge 13 of the upper disc 11. For illustration, the right disc holder 3 is shown fully extended with its screw 8, thus in the lowest height and it is the lower disc 11, as can be seen from the right section, released and can be on or removed.

Fig. 4 shows the situation at the maximum joint width, both disc holder 3 are fully extended, it can be safely bridged in this way, even wide joints. At the same time it can be seen that it is of course possible to keep the discs 11 even when, for whatever reason, the central part 2 is not arranged exactly symmetrical in the center of the joint.

The operation of the screws 8 is by means of Inbussen or the like. easily possible, the retraction movement of the disc holder 3 can also here by means of springs, O-rings or the like. be promoted and supported. The screws themselves sit by means of spring washers in the inserts, so they can not only push them, but also can pull.

A particularly preferred variant, which can be used in particular in the construction of facades with non-continuous flush surface, are shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. Here, the central part 2 rotatable about an axis 15 rotatable and fixable in any angular position by means of anti-rotation 16 intermediate parts 14, which in turn adjustable and fixable inserts 6, the mating surfaces 5 have wear. The further construction with the Scheibenhaltem 3 and the inclined surfaces 4 is analogous to the embodiment according to Figures 3 and 4.

The rotation is preferably carried out so that in the "correct" angular position of the intermediate part 14 with respect to the central part 2, this situation by worm screws with pointed and preferably hardened end, is provisionally fixed and then provided by existing holes in the central part 2, which advantageously close to the worm screws are, a blind hole (or through hole) is drilled in the pin of the intermediate part 14, which is inserted in the recess of the central part and that in this hole a fixing screw 16 (Fig. 7), preferably also a worm screw, is screwed, so the Both parts 2, 14, even with large attacking torques against any movement, even against each axial, secures.

It is particularly preferred that the first-mentioned worm screws, which take over the provisional fixation, protrude with its tip in the "releasing" state in an annular groove of the central part 2 and thus ensure the cohesion of the individual components. The annular groove may be formed only over a part of the circumference to ensure that the load exerted by the discs acting on the holder 1 as a torque will always be loaded in the "tightening direction".

Fig. 6 shows an example with concave design of the building surface along a vertical edge, as is possible by the latter variant of the invention to produce such a training in a simple manner. It is easily possible to come to angles up to 25 ° and more between adjacent slices. This embodiment of the brackets can of course be combined with brackets according to the other embodiments.

It can be seen that the slice holders 3 and the intermediate parts 14 according to FIG. 7 also in the central part 2 according to FIG 8 fit, so that changes in the structure and in particular the thickness of the discs can be easily taken into account.

It is favorable in practice if the individual parts of the holder according to the invention are captively connected to each other, without their mobility suffers relative to each other. This can be done for example by the dovetail guide shown in the embodiments along the two sliding surfaces 4, 5, wherein the insert 6 is connected by the adjusting screw 8 with the central part. Of course, other measures are possible, as can be seen from the first embodiment.

In this case, the intermediate part 14 together with the actual disk holder 3 and the associated components at a distance from the central part 2 and compared to its final position about the axis 15 (Fig. 5) pivoted between the adjacent disks 11 is inserted and, if in the right part of the figure reached recorded position is inserted along the axis 15 in the central part 2 and fixed there, for example by means of worm screws at least temporarily. These may be the worm screws 16 (Figures 7 and 8) in annular grooves engage the intermediate parts 14 and so secure the cohesion with the central part 2, even if they are not screwed so tight that they secure the two parts against relative rotation about the axis 15.

Diesen sowohl für die Montage als auch für die Kraftübertragung komplexen Aufbau zu vereinfachen und dabei zu einer auch kostengünstigen Lösung zu gelangen, ist die Aufgabe der Ausbildung der Erfindung gemäß Fig. 10:FIG. 10 represents a further development of the invention, the basis of which is briefly explained in conjunction with FIG. 6: FIG. 6 shows the situation at the collision of four lining plates, each near its corner, from one holder in vertical and another Holder to be held in a horizontal direction. The total four necessary holder 1 are now usually not separated from each other attached to the support structure, but it is an intermediate attachment (not shown) provided so that the assembly of the actual support structure only affects a part to which in turn the four holders 1 adjusted and adjusted be fixed. To simplify this complex structure both for the assembly and for the transmission of power and thereby arrive at a cost-effective solution, the object of the embodiment of the invention according to FIG. 10 is:

The structure of this embodiment will be explained on the most common case, namely on the attachment in the corner region of the discs, thus at the locations of a façade where four discs collide, but the skilled person is clear that the most varied by simple modifications Special cases and configurations are possible. A holder 1, which is fixedly secured to the support structure carries a central part 2, the four parallel to the edges 13 (or axes 15) extending cylindrical extensions 20 has. On these extensions fixed disc holder 21 are pushed, which can be secured analogously to the method described above by means of fixing screws 16 in an appropriate position relative to a rotation on the cylindrical extensions 20. These fixed disk holders 21 likewise have insert sheets 12 in order to protect the edges 13 of the disks 11.

The axial length of the fixed disk holder 21 in the direction of the axis 15 is smaller than the length of the cylindrical extensions 20. On the part of the cylindrical extensions 20 which projects beyond the fixed disk holder 21, intermediate parts 24 are fixed, their most striking difference to the intermediate parts 14 is that they have at their the central part 2 facing the end no stub which is inserted into the central part, but a cylindrical recess into which the end 22 of the cylindrical extension 20 is inserted. This end 22 can now in complete analogy to the form of training Fig. 5 may be provided with an annular groove to the intermediate part 24 movable, but captive by means of a worm screw to connect with him and in the course of mounting a disc 11 at least provisionally secure until given by the rotation 16 a final fixation in the desired location is.

At the intermediate part 24 sits the actual disc holder 23, which is constructed somewhat differently in the embodiment of FIG. 10 for the same function as the disc holder 3 of the embodiment of FIG. 5: The disc holder 23 has namely the inclined surface 4 is not formed integrally with him, but this inclined surface 4 is arranged on a separate rocker part 25. The contact surface between the rocker part 25 and the glass carrier 23 is a cylindrical surface whose axis is normal to the disk plane, thus parallel to the axis 19 and thus allows the glass carrier 23 in its angular position always exactly to the course of the edge 13 of Adjusts disc.

The disk carrier 23 surrounds the intermediate part 24 laterally by means of two ribs so that it, on its side facing the intermediate part 24, has an approximately U-shaped cross section. In this area, it has an opening 26 into which screws, bolts or pins 27 come to rest, which are fastened in the intermediate part 24 at a suitable location. The opening 26 has in the direction in which the disk carrier 23 is displaceable, a dimension which is significantly greater than the diameter of the pin 27. By this measure, the disk holder 23 and located between him and the insert 6 rocker member 25 is held captive without his mobility being restricted. The displacement itself is effected by an adjusting screw 8, which moves the insert 6 with the counter surface suitably, thereby shifts the rocker member 25 with the inclined surface normal to the edge 13 and thus the disc holder 23, which in the course of this shift by turning about the axis the cylindrical surface of the exact orientation of the edge 13 adapts.

It will be understood that each (quadrangular) disk 11 may be held on two adjacent sides by a fixed disk holder 21 when only the other two sides are supported by movable disk holders 23. This is made possible by the arrangement of the disc holder as shown in FIG. 10, wherein preferably the fixed disc holder 21 are provided on the underside of each disc, since then the fixation of the disc does not have to be made against their weight and then there the disc weight with low lever arm is passed over the cylindrical extensions 20 on the central part 2 and so the cylindrical extensions less stressed to bending than when the weight of the disc is transferred to the movable disc holder located at a greater distance from the holder 1.

Es kann selbstverständlich statt der großen kreisförmigen Ausnehmung 26 ein Langloch vorgesehen sein, doch ist die Herstellung der kreisförmigen Ausnehmung in den meisten Fällen kostengünstiger als die Herstellung eines Langloches.11 shows in plan view the situation in the assembled state and FIG. 12 shows the region of the movable disk holder 23 in two different positions in section, while the oblique position of the edge 13 is indicated by dashed lines, by the cylindrical configuration of the contact surface between the disc holder 23 and the rocker member 25 can be compensated. The circular recess 26 and the retaining pin 27 are indicated by dashed lines, from the comparison of the upper and lower image of FIG. 12 it can be seen how the position of these two parts to each other changes, while allowing the mobility of the parts to each other, but their falling apart prevented. It may of course be provided instead of the large circular recess 26, a slot, but the production of the circular recess is cheaper in most cases than the production of a slot.

It can easily be seen that at least one further cylindrical extension, namely out of the plane of the paper, can be provided on the central part, thereby creating a multiplicity of architectural possibilities.

A further variant, in which is not resorted to inclined surfaces for moving the disc holder with respect to the central part, is shown in FIG. 13: This shows a bent part 18 which is bent more or less elastically by the adjusting screw 8 and thereby the disc holder. 3 moved normally to the edge 13. In this variant, it is possible, as shown, possible to provide a contact area 17: this is located on the bending part 18 in its apex area and carries, pivotable about an axis 19 which is normal to the disk plane (is paper plane), the actual disk holder 3rd Auf In this way it is achieved that the disc holder 3 can always be set completely parallel to the edge 13 and compensates both manufacturing tolerances and subsequent changes of its position. As a result, a flat contact between the disc and disc holder can be achieved and any edge pressure can be avoided.

It can instead of the elastic deformation of the bending member 18, a change in angle between two articulated legs are made and there are also completely different mechanisms for the displacement of the disc holder conceivable, for example, the rotation of a cam or an eccentric.

The invention is not limited to the illustrated and described embodiments, but can be variously modified, it is only essential that a disc holder can be moved without another disc holder located on the same central part thereby changing its position. So combinations of different designs are possible and there are also "hybrid shapes" conceivable to meet special cases can. These are in particular cases in which a holder holds discs of different thicknesses. This is easily possible by the invention, since only different disc holder, possibly with different intermediate parts must be mounted on a common central part. In this case, the disc holder and central parts may be those that are provided for the corresponding disc thickness and need not be custom-made.

The holder according to the invention may consist of the materials which are conventionally used in the prior art, in particular of stainless steel (corrosion-resistant, austenitic steel), aluminum, aluminum alloys, plastic etc., the mechanical stability and the corrosion resistance of the material being essential. For the insert sheets can rubber, silicone, plastic od.dergl. With knowledge of the invention it is easily possible for the person skilled in the field of facade construction to make the appropriate choice. This also applies to the dimensioning of the individual parts, wherein a flat contacting and thus a substantial improvement of the holder is achieved by the features according to the invention, which in turn allows a significant reduction of the holder. This is of great importance for cost reasons as well as for aesthetic reasons.

In the embodiments shown, the disk holders have a jaw shape, although this is preferred, but need not be. It is quite possible to use discs with grooves at their edge and to provide the disc holders with a nose or the like which engages in the groove. It then virtually replaces the movement of the nose twisting the head of the above explained holder. However, since it comes to much smaller contact surfaces and tensile stresses in the engagement area, and moreover, the production of the groove in the edge of the disc is expensive, this variant is only in special cases, for example, when complete optical withdrawal of the holder is required advantageous. It is also possible to provide a fold instead of the chamfer and the shape of the disc holder adapt to it. This variant will be chosen because of the higher cost only in special cases.

The storage of inserts in the intermediate parts or the central part must not be made in the manner shown but can be modified. It may well encompass or include the portion of a portion of the intermediate part or of the central part, so that the term "insert" can only be understood in a figurative sense. One can visualize this, if one thinks in Fig. 5 the intermediate part 14 as a rod-shaped structure and the insert part 6 as an approximately annular structure with a counter surface bearing nose. The ring would be pushed over the rod and think axially displaceable.

It can of course also be used a different form of anti-rotation, with all known measures are available to spot welding.

The invention has been described in terms of the collision of four rectangular panes, but it will be understood by one skilled in the art, of course, that it will be easy to use the holders located at the edge, at spatial corners, in the transition from a disk size (or thickness). to be used on another, and in similar special cases, to adapt accordingly. Relatively often, the situation will arise in which larger disks are supported multiple times in their lower area along the edge. In these cases, when using the embodiment according to FIGS. 10 and 11, the holders according to the invention only carry a cylindrical extension 20.
