Definitions
- the invention relates to an extended-nip roller press for dewatering a Fibrous web according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such an extended-nip roller press is known, for example, from DE 35 03 240 C2 known, which has a driven counter roll, which is a fixed Carrier body is associated with a press shoe guided therein.
- the press shoe can be pressed hydraulically onto the counter roller.
- To the support body is an endless Roll jacket guided around.
- the press shoe forms with the corresponding one Roll section of the counter roll an extended press nip through which the draining fibrous web, embedded between material webs together with the roller jacket is guided in the direction of web travel.
- the press shoe indicates this Top part that has a slideway along which the roller jacket runs.
- the Slideway is dependent on the desired pressure profile over the Press gap width selectable and gives the press shoe an effective shoe width. It has proven to be disadvantageous, however, that the roller shell on its Belt edge undergoes deformations that show the wear of the roll shell increase.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide an extended-nip roller press To create type, the roller shell is subject to less wear.
- the roll shell is in the Area between the effective shoe width of the press shoe and the End section attachment directed by the support ring on an orbit that the Roller jacket deflection on the edge of the press zone to the diameter of the End walls leads.
- An essentially kink-free transition of the roll shell from the press zone to the respective end section attachment can be ensured become.
- the cost advantage resulting from the use of narrow material webs instead of alternatively over the entire width of the counter roll itself extending material webs remains.
- the Support ring formed such that this is a continuous extension of the Roll shell allowed outside the press zone.
- the roll shell is preferably supported at the edge of the press zone by means of a radial thickness of the support ring which is at least one on the press shoe side Height which corresponds to that in the press nip by that on the counter surface overlying material web (s) and the arranged fibrous web conditional Height adjoins.
- the roller jacket is thereby supported, which to the predefined location in the press nip is adapted.
- the support ring can moreover not only support the roller shell, but also at the same time lead by a targeted radial change in thickness of the support ring, thereby the Defined roll jacket deflection from the press nip to the end section fastening is performed. Since the roll shell is preferably made using a at least a slight excess pressure is inflated, the roller jacket puts on the support ring of the counter roller and follows its guide path in Transition area between effective shoe width and end section attachment.
- the counter roller also has one each following its counter surface ring-shaped depression on, whereby the web edges of the with the fibrous web guided material web (s) receive a freewheel.
- the as material web (s) preferred felts often have on their web edges Thickenings on, which come from selvedges, melted edges, etc. and thus are production-related. To avoid marks on the roller jacket The web edges therefore preferably run over a free space. A Sufficient axial extension of the free space ensures that at one Stretching or shortening of the material web during operation the web edges of the Material webs remain over the free space. In addition, the Web overhang the position control of the material web (s).
- FIG. 1 shows an extended-nip roller press for dewatering a fibrous web, in particular a paper web that can be part of a paper manufacturing plant.
- a left half of the extended-nip roller press is shown and explained below.
- the right half is mirror-symmetrical to the dividing line T. trained so that the following comments on the left half for the right half apply accordingly.
- the extended-nip roller press comprises an extended-nip press roll 1 and one driven counter roll 2, which cooperate in a press nip 3.
- the press nip 3 is at least one material web together with the pressed fibrous web. If only one material web is provided, act it is a so-called simply felted press.
- two material webs 4, 5 are provided between which the fibrous web 6 to be pressed is guided. One then speaks of one so-called double felted press.
- the material webs 4, 5 exist preferably made of felt.
- the long nip press roll 1 comprises a fixed support 7 and one around the support rotatable roller jacket 8, which is made of a flexible material, e.g. Rubber or plastic.
- the roll shell 8 is tubular formed and with its end portions on rotatable on the carrier 7th seated end walls 9 attached to a closed long-nip press roll 1st to build.
- a space 10 between the carrier 7 and the roll shell 8 is preferably supplied with compressed air, whereby the roller jacket 8 is inflated, to get a cylindrical shape.
- a press shoe 11 On the carrier 7, a press shoe 11 is provided, which is made of a support bar a plurality of spaced hydraulic Supporting elements 12 are supported on the carrier 7 and in the direction of the counter roller 2 can be pressed.
- the press shoe 11 has an effective shoe width 13 (see FIG. 2 and Fig. 3), which forms a sliding surface on which the roll shell 8 in Supported area of the press nip 3.
- the support elements 12 are in a known manner via pressure medium lines 14 to a hydraulic pressure medium, e.g. Oil or Water, connected.
- the press shoe 11 forms with the corresponding jacket section Counter roll 2 the extended press nip 3 through which the two webs of material 4, 5 and the fibrous web 6 to be dewatered together with the roll shell 8 are guided in a web running direction.
- the counter roll 2 is designed here as a bending compensation roll with a fixed roll core 20 and a rotatable around the roll core 20 Roller jacket 19, the edge of the pivot bearing 21, 22 and along it Shell surface via a support bar of hydraulic support elements 18 on the roll core 20 is supported.
- a roll neck end 15 is mounted in a bearing 16.
- the drive (not shown) can be connected to the roller jacket 19 in a known manner attack.
- the roll shell 19 is also preferably elastic Cover 17 provided.
- the hydraulic support elements 18 are in a known manner connected to pressure medium lines 23.
- the counter roller 2 has one of the effective shoe width 13 of the press shoe 11 Opposing counter surface 24 on the press nip 3 on the counter roller 2 limited.
- the counter surface 24 is here on the upper side of the elastic covering 17th formed in engagement with the material web 5 facing it (see FIG. 2) arrives.
- the counter roller 2 also has an edge and is spaced apart adjacent to the effective shoe width 13 of the press shoe 11 opposite counter surface 24 a radially projecting support ring 25 on which is a counter bearing for the direct support of an outer Forms roll shell section 28 on the counter roll 2.
- the roll shell 8 receives this outer Roll shell section 28 a support.
- the radial thickness of the support ring 25 is selected such that a continuous extension of the roll shell 8 reached between the press shoe 11 and the end section fastening on the end walls becomes. 1 is achieved in that the radial thickness of the Support ring 25 picks up the height that the roll shell 8 in the press nip 3rd occupies due to its positioning on the material webs 4, 5 and intermediate fibrous web 6.
- the support ring 25 thus preferably has a radial thickness which corresponds to that of the material webs 4, 5 and the fibrous web 6 predetermined roll shell position in the edge area of the counter roll 2 transfers.
- the axial extension of the support ring 25 extends to the front End of the roll shell 19 of the counter roll 2 and can also extend beyond.
- the radial thickness of the support ring 25 is preferably only at least press shoe side in the area of one of the fibrous web and the receiving Material webs formed height on the counter roll, and falls in the rest of each towards the outside.
- the roller shell 8 receives a guide in the direction of Attachment to the end wall 9, opposite that of the roll shell 8 in the press nip is depressed. Since preferably in the interior 10 of the roll shell There is at least slight internal pressure, the roller jacket 8 is outside of the press nip 3 pressed against the support ring 25, like that in FIGS. 2 and 3 illustrated arrows.
- the support ring 25 is preferably made of a plastic material, especially epoxy resin or polyamide.
- the support ring 25 is such spaced from the effective shoe width 13 of the press shoe 11 that an end-side freewheel section for the fibrous web 6 receiving Material webs 4, 5 remain on the counter roller 2.
- the counter roller 2 in the area of the freewheel section on an annular recess 29.
- the one on the Counter surface 24 of the counter roll 2 have material webs 4, 5 lying thereon then such a width that it has freely overhanging ends over the annular recess 29 run. Otherwise the above apply 1 corresponding to the explanations.
- FIG. 3 differs from that in FIG. 2 illustrated embodiment in that the support ring 25 in one piece is formed with the elastic covering 17. Otherwise, the above apply 1 corresponding to the explanations.
