Definitions
- the invention relates to a parallel opening window arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Double facades are used, in front of a conventional, insulated inner facade with openable windows one second glass skin is arranged.
- the space between the facade and the second glazing in front of it is ventilated and can also be used with a Shading system.
- This is in advantageously protected from the weather, and by an in double façade designed in this way becomes both a excellent insulation, as well as natural Ventilation even during rain and during the night, as well as one good sound insulation achieved by the upstream, second Glass skin provides noise protection even when the window is open offers.
- the main disadvantages of double facades are the high investment costs as well as the high weight, which regarding the building supporting the double facade can cause significant structural problems. Further kick Problems with increased longitudinal sound conduction.
- the formation of a double facade leads to special fire protection problems, because between the surface of the Double facade and the building exterior a chimney effect can arise.
- window facades are also with Composite windows widely used, the composite window can be opened and between the usually two glass surfaces of the compound window protected in this way can have arranged sun protection.
- Laminated windows can provide good thermal and acoustic insulation
- Investment costs can be achieved that are lower than at a double facade.
- the disadvantages of such composite windows However, the fact that the investment costs are significant are lower than with a double facade, but still higher than with conventional window facades that they do not Provide noise protection, and that moreover when open Window is not protected against driving rain.
- US 4,384,429 shows a parallel opening window arrangement according to the Preamble of claim 1, but in which sealing problems can occur.
- the invention is based on a parallel opening window, which is characterized in that the Window area in contrast to conventional tilt or turn-tilt windows is not pivoted with respect to the frame, but in an orientation parallel to the glass facade is issued.
- the open state it is formed in the Gap area between window and frame all around a gap with constant width from the point of view ventilation is advantageous because unlike one tilted window always ensures that fresh air enter the room at the lower gap, and those in the room air in particular through the upper gap can leak.
- the window is constructed with two shells and has a sash that consists of two together connected, openable subframe, wherein between sun protection can be added to the two panes.
- This is an essential advantage Advantage of a double facade achieved.
- the two Glass surfaces according to the invention in the parallel opening window are integrated, namely in between a sun protection can be arranged, the one is extremely effective, and secondly always before Weather conditions is protected.
- sun protection arranged in windows is clear unfavorable.
- the invention thus allows an effective one Sun protection, which is arranged protected from the weather at the same time is.
- seals to seal the window intended. These work in the closed state of the Sealing window at least partially with opposite seals and / or sections on the window or together on the frame, so that the arrangement in closed state is water and largely airtight. According to the invention, the seals are also designed in this way and arranged that in the open state with each other Form a labyrinth seal.
- the sealing arrangement according to the invention also protection against rain when the window is open, so that ventilation except in the event of an extreme storm can be done at any time. It is preferred that at least in the upper area of the window a water repellent designed sealing profile on the hinged window is arranged while it is at the bottom of the window for favorable drainage is beneficial if that water-repellent profile on the fixed frame is arranged.
- an additional water-repellent barrier is formed. This can already at a comparatively far point the gap between window and frame can be prevented, that driving rain penetrates.
- the parallel opening window used is preferred as Compound window executed. This can bring the benefits a composite window can be realized in the excellent heat and sound insulation as well as in the Possibility exist between the glass panes used a protected and effective sun protection to install.
- the window arrangement according to the invention a complete Alternative to the double facade.
- Parallel opening window providing sealing arrangement preferred that this is designed to open inwards. Nevertheless, it is equally conceivable for the parallel opening window arrangement train such that the window is opened to the outside, in which case the arrangement the seal must be adjusted accordingly.
- the individual seals on the frame and a design on the window has proven to be advantageous, in which the seals on the frame towards the Outside of the window increasingly towards the window extend, and the seals on the window towards the inside increasingly extend towards the frame.
- the individual seals are both on Window as well as on the frame as a comb with sufficient spaced from each other and with an inward opening Windows (in the case of the frame) widening outwards or (in the case of the window) getting smaller towards the outside Provided with "teeth".
- the window without the risk of mutual Disability between the individual seals issued become.
- the described variation in the height of the seals about the depth of the window is especially for that preferred, inward-opening windows adapted and can correspondingly for a window that can be opened outwards be converted.
- the parallel opening window arrangement can also achieve good sound insulation properties be by the window and / or the frame in the area of Opening gap also a sound-absorbing, open-cell material is arranged. Such material provides at least one if attached appropriately partial opening of the window for good sound insulation.
- Window means the arrangement of at least one glass surface and possibly a frame enclosing the glass surface, which when opening the window, as mentioned, in a to Facade is moved parallel alignment. This You can exhibit both outside and inside take place, preferred for the arrangement according to the invention is that the parallel opening window is opened to the inside becomes.
- the opening properties can advantageously vary as a result be that the projections and / or the recesses are conical be designed. This can result in the gap depending on the training of the profiles involved, a linear with gap width increasing with opening width (with conical Projection and conical recess) or a progressive Opening characteristics of the gap (with conical recess and with straight flanks formed projection) reached become.
- the at least one lead to provide a hose seal at its end.
- This Hose gasket may slide along its length when you close it Deform length flexibly so that installation tolerances can be balanced, and for the entire course of Seal a good sealing effect can be ensured.
- Foam rubber is one of the materials used for the seals suitable.
- the seals can be used as Hollow rubber profiles or plastic profiles can be designed, being comparatively rigid in the case of it Plastic profiles offers advantages when on this in particular at the sealing sections, pressable sealing sections are placed.
- a parallel opening window 10 stored in a frame 12 and attached that it is in the direction of arrow A perpendicular to Surface of the disks 14 and 16 can be raised.
- the two Panes 14 and 16 form a composite window that is a good one Provides thermal insulation as well as good sound insulation.
- sun protection can be arranged from the interior is actuated and by its attachment in the Composite windows are always protected against the weather.
- the two disks are each appropriately designed Profiles 18, 20 bordered, which around the respective disc 14, 16 surrounding frame can be swung open in such a way that the sun protection in between for example Maintenance work is accessible.
- the frame 12 will also formed by several metal profiles 22, between which just as with the window profiles 18, 20 a thermal Separation 24 is arranged.
- FIG. 1 shows the closed state of the window, however, it is evident that when the Window 10 as a result of the exhibition movement perpendicular to Window area in the direction of arrow A according to FIG. 1 on the left there is a circumferential gap that completely surrounds the Window runs around and a particularly cheap one Offers ventilation.
- seals 26 to be recognized in window 10 and frame 12 up to 38 is effective protection even when the window is open guaranteed against driving rain, as described below becomes.
- the opening condition of the Window 12 formed by the seals 26 to 38 Labyrinth seal with regard to its opening properties can be influenced, so that by a suitable window position desired ventilation effect can be achieved.
- seals 26 to 30 are provided.
- the Seal 34 acts as the main seal against this Entry of water with the section of window profile 18, against which it lies when closed.
- the additionally provided seals 28, 30 meet in the shown case in the closed state no sealing effect, but only the tasks described below in As part of the formation of a labyrinth seal.
- the most furthest outside seal 38 arranged on the frame 12 forms the first protection against driving rain.
- About in the middle (along the width of FIG. 1) of the frame 12 is one further seals 32 formed in the closed Condition abuts and seals the window profile 18.
- the “seal” 36 on the frame 12 is as shown Embodiment designed as a water-repellent barrier.
- This "seal" 36 acts like the seals 28, 30 on Window 10 does not have any section of the window profile together, but only ensures that up to one certain opening width of the gap between window 10 and Frame 12 driving rain cannot penetrate into the interior.
- a ventilation option ensures while at the same time ordinary rain from entering Can be held inside the room.
- both window side on the profile 18, as well as on a profile 22 the frame 12 has a sound absorbing material 42 is arranged. This advantageously supports the previously described rows of seals that already have a develop significant sound-absorbing effects. So is possibly by the additional arrangement of sound-absorbing material 42 a good pre-sound insulation also given when the window is open. By the described This can usually only be achieved through elaborate measures Double facade advantage to be obtained.
- the seals that the Opening the window 10 are guided past each other that is for example the seals 30 and 36 and the seals 28 and 34, so coordinated that they in one Direction parallel to the glass surfaces spaced apart are.
- the seals 30, 36 touch and 28, 34 when the window 10 moves as shown in FIG. 1 left not.
- This opening movement of the window 10 leads under the aspect of the labyrinth seal that a extremely small gap can be formed if that Window 10 is issued so far, for example, that the window side seal 30 between the frame side Seals 34 and 36 is located.
- the one flowing in from the outside Fresh air then moves in a serpentine fashion Sequence between seals 38, 36, 30, 34, 28, 32, 26 through.
- the water-repellent barrier 36 in the adjacent seal 34 is integrated, what by the dashed lines section 44 to be indicated. Furthermore is the water-repellent barrier shown 36 around a comparatively rigid element in the form of a slightly overhanging bridge, which can effectively prevent the ingress of driving rain.
- the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is also still note that basically on the outermost Seals 26, 38 can be dispensed with, and that also Window-side seals 28, 30 are unnecessary because the Labyrinth effect also with those sections on the Profiles 18, 20 of the window 10 works, which in the shown embodiment of the attachment of the respective Seals 28 and 30 serve. Otherwise, the in the 4 described embodiment of the Seals as the basic one according to the invention Sealing arrangement viewed as above executed, optionally by the in FIGS. 1 to 3 shown seals can be expanded.
- FIG. 2 is an embodiment of the invention Parallel opening window arrangement shown, in which the in Fig. 1 shown seals 34 and 36 and the window side seals 28 and 30 in a single Sealing profile 46 or 48 are integrated.
- the sealing profile 46 is such designed that two sealing lips 50 and 52 with respective Sections on the window-side profiles 18, 20 interact.
- the sealing lip 50 is not essential required.
- the sealing profile 46 has a tiered shape, and work with the respective paragraphs several sealing lips 54 together on the window side Sealing profile 48 are formed.
- the two lie Sealing profiles 46 and 48 basically comb-like and complementary to each other when the window is closed.
- between the sealing profiles 46 and 48 as well as between the further seals, or the frame-side seal 32 and the opposite sections of the frame or a labyrinthine gap in the window, which through the Opening of the window can be varied.
- FIG. 3 is a modification of the embodiment of FIG. 1 and it should be noted that in addition to that shown frame-side seal 32 the further seals 26 to 30, 36 and 38 as provided in the embodiment of FIG. 1 can be, although they are not shown.
- the Special feature of the embodiment shown in Fig. 3 lies in the design of a frame-side seal 56 as well as in the design of the section of the window side Profile 18 on which the sealing lip of the seal 56 abuts. As indicated by dashed lines, are in this Profile of one or more curved channels 58, through the air from the (arranged on the right in FIG. 3) Can flow inwards. This is through the arrow B indicated.
- the window of this flow path through the sealing lip of the Profiles 56 sealed while in the open window Depends on the extent of the opening Flow cross section for the supply of fresh air is released.
- the labyrinth with changeable Opening properties are here, for example, by the Interaction of the sections 60 of the window-side profiles 18 and 20 with the two seals shown on the frame side 32 and 56 as well as any other existing ones Seals reached.
- FIG. 4 is the parallel opening window arrangement according to the invention in the gap area between the in Fig. 4 below to recognize window 10 and the frame 12 an upper edge of the window 10 shown.
- 1 to 3 which exemplarily the lower edge of the Window or the side edges show extends the window 10 as shown in FIG. 4 below.
- the situation at the top of the window will change accordingly of the preferred embodiment shown in FIG Invention with respect to water-repellent barrier 62 changed.
- the reason for this is that driving rain falling in the gap tries to penetrate, tends to slant in one direction penetrate downwards so that for effective Water repellent the water repellent barrier 62 in advantageously arranged on a profile of the window is.
- the embodiment differs from FIG. 4, in which the window as shown in the drawing right is not opened. Even in this case only two seals 32 and 34 are shown, it is understood that, in the same way as shown in Fig. 1, more can be present.

- the seals guarantee even with a certain opening protection against driving rain in the window.
- Advantageously are in the window arrangement according to the invention by means of circumferentially formed gap good ventilation properties and by the arrangement of the (also in Fig. 4 not shown) sun protection between the panes 14 and 16, that offer protection against the effects of the weather effective sun protection achieved. Overall this will an inexpensive alternative to a double facade and created a new window construction that is a real one Offers an alternative to the double facade.
- the lower gap area is again between Window 10 and frame 12 shown, the arrangement in this case is shown such that the window 10 after is opened on the right.
- the embodiment shown is furthermore that shown for example in FIG. 1 frame-side seal 32 available.
- the labyrinth seal is in the embodiment of FIG. 5 on the one hand by the Interaction of the seal 32 with the section of the window 10 reached at which the seal 32 in the (in Fig. 5 shown) closed state is present.
- opening the window a labyrinth seal between the frame-side sealing profile 64 and the window-side Sealing profile 66.
- this is on the frame side Sealing profile 64 in the case shown with a web-like projection 68 provided in the closed Condition in a groove-like recess 70 in the window-side sealing profile 66 is added.
- both the sealing profile 66 and the Sealing profile 64 at a location shown in FIG. 5 below the Projection 68 or the recess 70 a step 72 or 74th present, which seal against each other in the closed state issue.
- the window is now opened to the right according to FIG. 5 is formed between the front end of the Projection 68 and the bottom of the recess 70 a gap from so that the fresh air between the flanks of the, unlike in the drawing shown schematically in the Flank areas not abutting projections and Recesses and through the gap mentioned and through the Gap area between steps 74 and 72 and at the flow another sealing profile 32 past into the interior of the room can.
- the sealing profiles 64 and 66 it should be noted that in the case shown with suitably designed foot sections are provided by means of of them in appropriately designed reception areas of the Profiles of the window 10 and the frame 12 can be used. However, you can also use the thermal insulation material shown glued, in any other way be sealed, or clipped. This also applies to all preceding and following Embodiments of the parallel window arrangement according to the invention.
- the embodiment of the invention shown in Fig. 6 is compared to the embodiment of FIG. 5 in that regard modified that the two sealing profiles 64 and 66 as comparatively rigid plastic profiles are formed, while it is in the sealing profiles shown in Fig. 5 are rubber hollow profiles. For this reason, through the profiles 64 and 66 shown in FIG. 6 solely by the None of sections of the profiles lie against each other sufficient sealing effect can be achieved. That is why at 6 the two webs of the window-side sealing profile 66, which between them Define recess 70 at their respective front ends provided with U-shaped flexible seal covers 73. These deform when they are attached to the respective Sections of the sealing profile 64 come up a little, so that them along the entire length of the sealing profiles extend perpendicular to the plane of the drawing, sealing against the each lie opposite sections.
- stage 74 is Sealing profile 66 also by another Shorter web formed, which also with the described Seal cover 73 is provided.
- stage 74 is Sealing profile 66 also by another Shorter web formed, which also with the described Seal cover 73 is provided.

Otherwise act in in such a state, the projections 68 and Recesses 70 for forming the labyrinth seals together, but rather, for example, the sealing profile 32 with the sealing profile 66 as a whole.
- FIG. 7 the window-side profile 66 in turn as a hollow rubber profile with a plurality of cavities 76 and a groove-like recess 70 designed. 7 takes effect on the side of the frame-side seal 78, a front section of the sealing profile, which acts as a hose seal 80 is executed.
- This hose seal 80 has one Cavity and can be found at the bottom of the Deform recess 70 such that in the closed state of the Window 10 reliable sealing is guaranteed.
- the frame-side sealing profile 78 shown has the Another special feature is that, in contrast to that in the 5 and 6 shown profile 64 is made smaller and by means of, for example, a metal strip 82 which can be integral with the profile 22 of the frame 12 this is appropriate.
- the metal strip 82 shown points in a suitable contour with its upper region according to FIG. 7 Undercuts and the like, in which the foot of the Sealing profile 78 with various widenings and similar can be used.
- FIG. 8 is another embodiment of the invention corresponding to the representation of FIGS. 1 to 3, that is opening on the left, shown. 8 shows to a certain extent by mirroring from FIGS. 5 to 7.
- the Sealing profiles 64 and 66 which are now on the right Find area of Fig. 8, but are similar in design in the embodiments of FIGS. 5 to 7.
- the difference is essentially in the embodiment of Fig. 8 in that on the window-side sealing profile 66 two Recesses 70 are formed which are formed by three webs 84 be limited, the flexible at their front sections Have ends in the form of hose seals 80 so that they always sealing against the corresponding sections of the frame-side sealing profile 64 abut.
- FIG. 9 illustrated embodiment of the invention in which the Sealing profiles 64 and 66 each with hollow rubber profiles several recesses 76 are executed.
- FIG. 9 illustrated embodiment are again on the frame-side profile 64 at the front ends of the projections 68 hose seals 80 provided.
- the peculiarity of Embodiment of Fig. 9 lies in the conical design the recesses 70 provided in the sealing profile 66.
- the recesses 70 of which those in FIG. 9 above shown upward from a portion of the profile 20th is limited, so conical that the recess 70 in Direction of their reason becomes narrower.
- the recesses are largely V-shaped. This has for the closed state shown in FIG Windows initially have no effect.
- FIG. 10 shows a similar embodiment, in which case the sealing profiles 66 and 64 are not as Plastic or rubber hollow profile are executed, but from Foam rubber solid material. Otherwise, the contour corresponds to respective sealing profiles 64 and 66 with the exception of Area 88 of the profile 64 (see FIG. 9) of the one in FIG. 9 illustrated embodiment, so that the Embodiment of Fig. 10 progressive opening characteristics can be set for the labyrinth seal according to the invention.
