Definitions

  • the invention is based on a locking device according to the preamble of the independent claims.
  • a rotary latch is brought into its closed position via a crank mechanism and a toggle lever arrangement.
  • This construction requires high engine power and a large number of individual components. Otherwise, a door that is motor-locked with this device can no longer be opened if the motor fails.
  • the locking device according to the invention with the characterizing features of the independent claims, in contrast, has the advantage of a wide range of functions with a simple construction and low-stress components. This makes the individual locks of the locking device lighter and smaller and the force to be applied by the motor is reduced to a minimum.
  • the locking device is also designed so that the vehicle can be mechanically opened and locked as usual, even if an electrical component fails, without the central locking function.
  • the embodiment according to claim 1 has the additional advantage that the door handles used to open the doors can be pulled through when the vehicle is locked and no forces are exerted on the internal components of the lock. This avoids an otherwise existing risk of breakage of the components involved.
  • the training according to independent claim 2 has the additional advantage that only the force to actuate one of the two unlocking levers must be applied simultaneously by the motor. This reduces the engine power by half compared to operating both levers at the same time.
  • the measures listed in the dependent claims allow advantageous developments and improvements of the locking device. It is particularly advantageous to mount movable catches on the unlocking levers, which are preferably arranged on bendable actuating arms. These can be brought into two different positions by the control segments of the control member, in which they can either be gripped by door handle levers connected to the door handles or in which they pass the drivers unaffected.
  • the operating arms have the advantage of being very light, so that only a small motor power is required.
  • unlocking levers and door handle levers on a common axis has the advantage that no additional friction occurs between unlocking levers and door handle levers when the door is opened. Abstract
