Definitions

  • the invention relates to an armored combat vehicle with a turret for the crew, with two combat platforms equipped with weapons and vision, and with a lifting system with a telescopic arm.
  • An armored combat vehicle of this type is the subject of DE-A-34 37 625.
  • a first platform is arranged at the tip of the arm and a second platform in the area of the articulated joint.
  • This second platform can hold weapons, but also supply and operating materials, camouflage materials, extinguishing agents, decontamination agents and the like.
  • Use of the second platform as a crane, for example for assembly and repair work on the combat vehicle, is also provided. Both platforms can be fully movable around all axes; nevertheless, the effective radius of the second platform is limited by the boom and the lower height.
  • Another combat vehicle with a combat platform arranged at the upper end of a telescopic articulated arm that can be stabilized about all axes and with an additionally extendable vision system is the subject of DE-C-31 20 338.
  • a modern combat vehicle In addition to such mechanical-constructive conditions, a modern combat vehicle must be tactically and constructively matched to the requirements of the battlefield. For example, attacking tanks, for the defense of which the combat vehicles with elevatable combat platforms are primarily suitable and designed, are always supported by helicopters. A modern defense system should therefore be able to fight earth and air targets in the same way.
  • the combat vehicles known to date with elevatable combat platforms meet this tactical requirement only to a very limited extent.
  • Such a combat vehicle excellently fulfills the tactical requirement mentioned above.
  • combating earth targets is performed by one combat platform, combat aerial targets by the other combat platform, for which the combat platforms are equipped with the appropriate weapons.
  • a mixed assembly of the combat platforms is also possible, since both combat platforms are practically equivalent. It is essential that a separate shooter is responsible for each combat platform, who has his place relatively protected under the armor of the combat vehicle, which in turn is under cover.
  • the two combat platforms are arranged one above the other on a base platform attached to the upper end of the telescopic arm and movable about the longitudinal and transverse axes, fully movable about its vertical axis and partially movable about its transverse axis.
  • the upper platform preferably takes on the control of air targets, the lower platform the control of earth targets.
  • the upper combat platform is preferably pivotable between -10 degrees and +85 degrees, the lower combat platform preferably between -10 degrees and +10 degrees about its transverse axes. With such a coordination, the conceivable mutual disabilities of the combat platforms are minimal.
  • the two combat platforms can be mounted next to one another on a base platform that can be moved about the longitudinal and transverse axes at the upper end of the telescopic arm, wherein they are at least partially movable about their vertical and transverse axes.
  • both combat platforms can be used in the same way for fighting earth and air targets.
  • the base platform is preferably also at least partially movable about its vertical axis. In this way, it is also possible to combat targets in the space sector which is occupied by the other combat platform when the base platform is rigidly arranged.
  • the Lifting device preferably only the telescopic arm, which is pivotably mounted on the vehicle deck between horizontal and vertical.
  • a turntable is not necessary for the lifting system.
  • rotation with the aid of the slewing ring would also take place relatively slowly.
  • the swivel drive for the lifting system can also be constructed more simply without a slewing ring.
  • the lifting device comprises an articulated arm in which the telescopic arm forms the upper section, as is known per se. If the articulated arm is articulated at the front end of the combat vehicle, the combat platforms can be brought with the telescopic arm in front of the front edge of the combat vehicle, so that weapons and vision can survey the battlefield, but the vehicle itself can remain safely behind a corner of the house.
  • the lifting system When designing the lifting system as an articulated arm, it is advisable to design the lower section as an A-shaped double arm, as a result of which the stability of the lifting system can be increased as well as its load capacity without having to increase the weight in the same way.
  • the side arms of the double arm are preferably directed parallel. In this way, they can the associated swivel device, for example, correspondingly long Protect hydraulic cylinder. Exposed lifting elements are protected by an additional cover.
  • At least one further platform is arranged in the area of the articulated joint, which is rigid, partially movable or fully movable, depending on the intended use.
  • this additional platform can itself carry one or more combat platforms.
  • the additional platform can also be used by launchers without their own vision; if necessary, the weapons are shot into the aiming and guiding device of the main fighting platforms.
  • the other platform can also be equipped with camouflage materials and / or decontamination agents will.
  • Use as an assembly and repair platform is also conceivable.
  • the combat platforms can be lowered, preferably tilted, in the transport position of the telescopic arm. This increases mobility in wooded terrain in particular.
  • FIG. 1 shows a side view
  • FIG. 2 shows a top view of a first armored combat vehicle 10 with combat platforms 40, 50 carried by an elevatable lifting system 20.
  • the lifting system 20 is shown in the lowered transport position and in the raised combat position.
  • the combat vehicle 10 has a chain undercarriage 11.
  • hatches 12, 13 are provided for the crew and the driver.
  • a lifting system 20 is articulated here.
  • This consists of an approximately A-shaped double arm 23 in plan view as the lower and a telescopic arm 22 as the upper section.
  • two combat platforms 42, 43 are mounted, with the aid of a base platform 41, 45.
  • the base platform 41 is moved with the aid of a hydraulic cylinder 32 and leveled by means of an automatic edge system.
  • the two combat platforms 42, 43 are arranged next to one another and are movable both about their vertical axis and their transverse axis.
  • the base platform 41, 45 can also be rotated about its vertical axis.
  • the possibility of movement of the combat platforms 42, 43 about their transverse axis can preferably be limited to the angular range between -10 degrees and +85 degrees in accordance with the tactical requirements. In this way, both earth targets and air targets can be combated.
  • the articulated arm 22, 23 is preferably raised and lowered with the aid of hydraulic cylinders 31, 33.
  • the lifting system 20 can either be fixed directly on the deck 14 of the vehicle or on a preferably central swivel head provided there.
  • the attachment to a turntable has the advantage that the lifting system 20 can be rotated about the vertical axis independently of the vehicle 10. Basically, however, this is not necessary since the vehicle 10 can turn itself on the spot with the aid of its tracked chassis 11, but in particular because the combat platforms 42, 43 and their base platform 41, 45 can each be rotated about the vertical axis. Because of the lower weight, the combat platforms 42, 43 or the base platform 41, 45 can be rotated considerably faster and with less energy expenditure than the considerably heavier lifting system 20 via the turntable.
  • the lower double arm 23 is cranked upwards.
  • the combat platforms 42, 43 are so high, even when the telescopic arm 22 is lowered, that they are fully operational without obstructing the crew's view from the armored turret. In this way, the vehicle 10 can defend itself during transportation.
  • its overall height is low and the overall length short enough to ensure optimal coverage and mobility in the field.
  • additional combat platforms 50 can also be provided in the area of the joint 24, consisting in this embodiment again of two combat platforms 52, 53 on a common base platform 51, 55, the automatic edge activation of which in turn activates a hydraulic cylinder 34.
  • the weapon system of the additional platforms 52, 53 can be implemented without own vision. In this case, the weapons are shot into the vision of the combat platforms 42, 43 and directed by them to the target.
  • the arrangement of a combat platform in the area of the articulated joint is known in principle from DE-A-34 37 625.
  • the lifting system 20' includes only the telescopic arm 22, at the upper end of the weapon system 40 'with its two combat platforms 46, 47 is mounted.
  • the lower end of the telescopic arm 22 is mounted on a pivot bearing 21, either rigidly or connected to the vehicle deck 14 via a turntable. Thanks to the eccentric arrangement of the lifting system 20 'on the vehicle deck 14 tower and hatch 12 are easily accessible for the crew.
  • the two combat platforms 46, 47 are arranged one above the other, the base platform 41 with its automatic edge leveling the combat platforms 46, 47.
  • the pivot angle of the lower combat platform 46 is preferably limited to a value between -10 and +10 degrees, while the pivot range of the upper combat platform 47 preferably covers the full angular range between -10 degrees and +85 degrees.
  • the lower one Combat platform 46 is therefore preferably provided for the fight against earth targets, the upper combat platform 47 for the fight against flight targets and earth targets. Gun barriers no longer have to be provided.
  • a radar system 44 is provided behind the upper combat platform 47.
