Aus dem Palettierer 1 gelangt der Stapel S über den Zwischenförderer 5 in die Kombinationsvorrichtung 2, wo der Stapel zunächst mit einer kurzen Schrumpffolienhaube 18 überzogen wird, wie bei 2a gezeigt ist. Anschließend wird eine lange erste Schrumpffolienhaube 19 über den Stapel S gezogen, und die Förder- und Standbahn 7 der Kombinationsvorrichtung 2 angehoben, wie 2b zeigt. Der untere Bereich des Stapels befindet sich nun in einer solchen Stellung zum Schrumpfbrenner 9 der Kombinationsvorrichtung 2, daß ein gutes Anschrumpfen in diesem unteren Bereich des Stapels gewährleistet ist, wie 2c zeigt. Anschließend fährt der gemeinsame Rahmen 8 dann aufwärts und schrumpft dabei die beiden Schrumpfhauben 18 und 19 eng an den Stapel an, was nicht näher dargestellt ist. In der Kombinationsvorrichtung 2 erfolgt das Überziehen einer zweiten oder Konterhaube 20 wie 2d zeigt und nachfolgend das Anschrumpfen dieser zweiten oder Konterhaube 20 an den Stapel wie 2e wiedergibt. Darauf erfolgt ein erneuter Transport des Stapels über den Zwischenförderer 5 zur Wendevorrichtung 3 auf die hier noch unten befindliche kürzere Förderfläche 12 mit nachfolgendem Einfahren der Förderelemente 14 in die Nischen 17 zum Nachprofilieren derselben wie 3d und 3e wiedergeben. Nach ausreichendem Erkalten der Schrumpffolien wird der nun vollständig mit Schrumpffolie umhüllte und angeschrumpfte Stapel S seitlich auf den Abgabeförderer 4 transportiert wie 3f und 4a wiedergeben, worauf dann schließlich der fertige Stapel mittels Huborganen 21, beispielsweise der Gabelzinken eines Gabelstaplers, abtransportiert wird, wie 4b. wiedergibt.The conveying and standing
Zur Verdeutlichung der Vorteile der Erfindung gegenüber dem Stand der Technik sind in den Fig. 3 und 4 die Wege- und Funktionszeiten der bekannten Vorrichtung gemäß DE-PS 27 60 249 (Fig. 3) und der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung (Fig. 4) einander gegenübergestellt, wobei die Wegezeiten in Richtung der Koordinatenachse y und die Funktionszeiten in Richtung der Koordinatenachse x schematisch dargestellt sind. Dabei sind die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte wie folgt mit Buchstaben bezeichnet:
