Abstract
Se describen proteínas pesticidas que presentan actividad tóxica contra especies de plagas de lepidópteros e incluyen, de modo no taxativo, TIC6757, TIC6757PL, TIC7472, TIC7472PL, TIC7473 y TIC7473PL. Se proporcionan construcciones de ADN que contienen una secuencia de ácido nucleico recombinante que codifica una o más de las proteínas pesticidas descritas. Se proporcionan plantas, células vegetales, semillas y partes de planta transgénicas resistentes a infestación de lepidópteros que contienen secuencias de ácidos nucleicos recombinantes que codifican las proteínas pesticidas de la presente invención. También se proporcionan métodos para detectar la presencia de las secuencias de ácidos nucleicos recombinantes o las proteínas de la presente invención en una muestra biológica, y métodos para controlar plagas de especies de lepidópteros usando cualquiera de las proteínas pesticidas TIC6757, TIC6757PL, TIC7472, TIC7472PL, TIC7473 y TIC7473PL.
