Abstract

Настоящее изобретение касается способа борьбы с нежелательным ростом на участке культивации растений, включающего следующие этапы: получение на указанном участке растения, которое содержит по меньшей мере одну нуклеиновую кислоту, содержащую нуклеотидную последовательность, кодирующую протопорфириноген оксидазу (РРО), которая является стойкой или устойчивой к гербициду-ингибитору РРО, путем нанесения на указанный участок эффективного количества указанного гербицида. Изобретение также относится к растениям, содержащим ферменты РРО дикого типа или ферменты мутированной РРО, а также к способам получения таких растений.
