The pigs of test group 1, test group 2 and test group 3 were fed with a basal diet containing 1%, 1.5% and 2% of the herbal compound prepared in example 1, respectively, and the control group was fed with a normal basal diet, which was a complete feed prepared in a feed factory in the pig farm in the Qinglong mountain. After feeding for 70 days, both groups were fed with normal pig feed for 15 days. During the test period, pigs in each group were fed and drunk water freely, managed and immunized according to the conventional procedure. During the trial, herd feeding and health status were carefully observed and recorded daily. Individuals were weighed on the morning empty stomach at the beginning (0d) and end of the test, respectively. The test pigs were slaughtered at 165 days of age, and the test and control pigs were deprived of feed at 6 pm on the last day. All 24 pigs tested were slaughtered 6 points on the morning of day 2. And calculating the daily gain and the feed conversion rate. And (4) determining indexes such as dressing percentage, eye muscle area, backfat thickness, lean meat percentage, leaf fat weight and the like.
1. Influence of compound traditional Chinese medicine feed additive on growth performance of pigs
As can be seen from Table 1, the weight average of the pigs at 80 days of age and at slaughter was not significantly different between the control group and the test group. During the test period, the daily weight gain of the three groups of test groups is obviously higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); differences between feed reward groups were not significant. The results show that the pig compound traditional Chinese medicine feed additive can obviously promote daily gain and improve the growth performance of pigs.
