Abstract
本发明涉及一种新型结构的茂钛化合物。其通式为R1Ti(OR2OR3)3,式中R1为环戊二烯基,R2为含6~12个碳原子的芳烃基团,R3为含1~12个碳原子的烷基或芳烃基团。该化合物和烷基铝氧烷和/或烷基铝组成的催化体系可用于制备高间规度的聚苯乙烯,且具有催化效率高、稳定性好等特点,可用于工业生产中。
Description
本发明涉及茂钛化合物,特别是关于多元醇(酚)醚型茂钛化合物。
茂钛化合物与助催化剂甲基铝氧烷(MAO)或硼氟化合物组成的均相催化体系,用于苯乙烯间规聚合可得到间规度在96%以上的间规聚合物。聚合物熔点高达270℃,结晶速度快,耐化学、耐热性好,分子量分布窄,尺寸稳定性好,而且具有优异的电性能,其综合性能可与工程塑料相比。间规聚苯乙烯(SPS)的问世引起了人们对其催化体系,特别是主催化剂茂钛化合物的研究。文献US5252693和EP210615报道了结构为CpTiCl3或Cp*TiCl3和助催化剂MAO组成的催化体系用于苯乙烯间规聚合的情况,其中Cp为环戊二烯基,Cp*为取代环戊二烯基,但其催化活性及催化效率不高,稳定性差,工业应用价值不大。专利US4978730、US5023222、US5045517和US5196490报道了目前催化效率高的CpTi(OR)3和Cp*Ti(OR)3型催化剂(R为烷基或芳基),活性较以往有了提高,但工业生产应用价值仍不大。
本发明的目的是为了克服以往文献存在催化体系催化活性低、催化效率低的缺陷,提供一种新型的茂钛化合物,该茂钛化合物与烷基铝氧烷和/或烷基铝组成的催化体系,可成功地用于苯乙烯的间规聚合,且具有以下特点:高的催化活性及催化效率,具有一定工业应用价值。
本发明的目的是通过以下的技术方案来实现的:一种茂钛化合物,其结构具有以下通式:
R1Ti(OR2OR3)3
式中R1为环戊二烯基;
R2为含6~12个碳原子的芳烃基团;
R3为含1~12个碳原子的烷烃基团或芳烃基团。
上述技术方案中R2的优选范围为苯基:R3的优选范围为甲基、乙基、丙基、异丙基、叔丁基或苯基,可在苯环的邻、间或对位,较佳范围为甲基;Ti与R2之间,R2与R3之间均通过氧原子相连。
本发明茂钛化合物的制备方法是由相应的茂基三氯化钛与二元醇醚在氯化氢吸收剂存在下以碳氢化合物为溶剂反应得到的。氯化氢吸收剂可以是各种胺类化合物,其中以三烷基胺为宜,例如三乙胺。碳氢化合物可以是脂肪烃或芳香烃,使用芳烃更好,例如苯、甲苯、二甲苯等。茂基三氯化钛与羟基的克分子比为1∶3.0~3.5,茂基三氯化钛与三乙胺的克分子比为1∶3.0~4.0,反应温度为1~130℃,最好是30~80℃,反应时间为2~48小时,最好是6~24小时,反应过程最好是用间歇加热操作。
本发明的化合物与烷基铝氧烷和/或烷基铝一起作为苯乙烯的间规聚合催化剂时,其催化效率可达6.26×104g聚合物/g钛,取得了很好的效果。

下面通过实施例对本发明作进一步的阐述。
【实施例1】
催化剂制备
在干燥的250ml的三口烧瓶中,N2抽排3次,加入2.54克三氯单茂钛和70ml苯,从上面滴加50ml苯,4.31克对甲氧基苯酚和8.2ml三乙胺的混合物,45分钟后滴完,常温反应1小时后,再加热至苯回流温度,反应2小时后,停止加热,常温反应10小时,再次加热反应2小时,过滤,滤液抽干,用甲苯、己烷溶液反复重结晶,抽干,得黄色晶体4.9克,产率90%。
【实施例2】
在2L机械搅拌釜上,先在90℃烘烤3小时后,降温至60℃,N2抽排3次,再用稀三异丁基铝甲苯溶液洗涤干燥10分钟,加入苯乙烯单体500ml,10mmol三异丁基铝,10mmol MAO,搅拌10分钟后,用针筒注入实施例1制得的含0.05mlCpTi(O-C6H4-OCH3)3甲苯溶液,在400rpm下搅拌反应1小时后,用乙醇-盐酸溶液中止反应,洗涤,干燥得粉末固体150克,间规度96%,Mw=7.18×104,其催化效率为62.63千克聚合物/克钛,催化活性为62.63千克聚合物/克钛·小时。

1、一种茂钛化合物,其结构具有以下通式:R1Ti(OR2OR3)3
式中R1为环戊二烯基;
R2为含6~12个碳原子的芳烃基团;
R3为含1~12个碳原子的烷烃基团或芳烃基团。
2、根据权利要求1所述的茂钛化合物,其特征在于Ti与R2之间,R2与R3之间均通过氧原子相连。
3、根据权利要求1所述的茂钛化合物,其特征在于R2为苯基。
4、根据权利要求1所述的茂钛化合物,其特征在于R3为甲基、乙基、丙基、异丙基、叔丁基或苯基,可在苯环的邻、间或对位。
5、根据权利要求4所述的茂钛化合物,其特征在于R3为甲基。
