Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "MASSAS MOLDADAS DE POLIETILENO E TUBULAçãO PREPARADA A PARTIR DELAS, COM PROPRIEDADES MECâNICAS APERFEIçOADAS". A invenção refere-se a uma massa moldada de polietileno com distribuição de massa molar bimodal, que possui uma densidade total <242> 0,948 g/cm^ 3^ e um índice de fundido líquido MFI~ 190/5~ <243> 0,2 dg/min. Ela contém uma quantidade de 35 até 65% em peso de homopolímero A de etileno de baixo peso molecular, que possui um índice de viscosidade VZ~ A~ na faixa de 40 até 90cm^ 3^/g, um índice de escoamento de fundido MFI~ 19012,16A~ na faixa de 40 até 2000 dg/min e uma densidade d~ A~ <242> 0,965 g/cm^ 3^, e uma quantidade de 35 até 65% em peso de copolímero B de etileno de alto peso molecular, que possui um índice de viscosidade VZ~ B~ na faixa de 500 até 2000 cm^ 3^/g, um índice de fluxo de fundido MFI~ 190/5B~ na faixa de 0,02 até 0,2 dg/min e uma densidade dB na faixa de 0,922 até 0,944 g/cm~ 3~. A fração da massa moldada obtida de acordo com a invenção, a uma temperatura de 78<198>C <sym> 3K em uma análise TREF preparatória com p-xileno, possui uma massa molar média de <242> 200.000 g/moles.
